Hi,
It seems you have your content delivered from the cache – https://www.screencast.com/t/8eVqHlzrCD
I suggest you try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your caching, purge cdn files and deactivate the child theme to see if the problem is still there. If it is not, then one of these is the cause for this to happen. Activate your child theme and check if the problem appears. Then activate the plugins one at a time, while checking for this issue.
For the strange characters on your website, please refer to this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
Thanks
Hi,
This is a strange issue.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,
You remove it by using visual composer. If visual composer is detected on a page then the title is removed.
You can use even a simple text box. Just make sure you press the add button and place the text box yourself as all the content existing on your page is already in an ad box. The theme needs to create an element from the list in order to remove the menu.
Thank you!
Hi Simion,
Your response is extremely frustrating because it show you did not spend the time to read what I have done so far to test this problem.
I have disabled all plugins to test this problem. It does not matter what plugins are activated or deactivated because the problem is the theme.
When the Newspaper theme is activated, the links do not work. The intermittent issue is only some links do not work. However, when I switch to the 2016 theme, the links instantly begin working. When I switch back to the Newspaper theme, the links no longer work. Clearly a theme issue.
Please explain how Visual Composer is essential and required for the proper functionality to display a single post. Because it isn’t AFAIK. It is important for displaying modules/blocks and very useful for pages, however, it is not used on posts AFAIK.
I should also note that I have read about WordPress embeds in depth and have tried all of their embed strategies and the problem still persists. I have also posted to Stack Exchange to get help but the problem is the theme, not WordPress.
Thank you
Hello,
In order to make the css code more specific you will need to add the images on a separate row and add a custom class to the row in visual composer like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zsy0y8n0
Then you simply add your custom class name in the code provided like so:
.customimages .wpb_button, .wpb_content_element, ul.wpb_thumbnails-fluid>li{
margin-bottom: 5px!important;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
Please also disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Please try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching you have installed and purge cdn files if you have this system. Then check to see if the problem with the images is still occurring.
Also please check these parameters and make modifications if needed, according to this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
2. The top menu background color can be changed in the theme panel, like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/hTbKricnWDB
Thanks
Hi,
If it is an intermittent problem, meaning that sometimes they work and in some situations does not, it could be a plugin that is causing this. You can try disabling all your plugins, except the ones bundled with the theme and check to see if the issue persists. Also please install the Visual composer plugin as it is an essential and required in the proper functionality of the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Hello,
It seems the class needed for the images is not present on your site. Maybe one of your plugins is not compatible with the current version anymore. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but the lightbox will not work on pages. It was not created to work on pages unfortunately. On a sibgle image element, visual composer has it;s own version of a lighbox: https://www.screencast.com/t/Z0GP1UIDE9
it can be activated like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/IBcs3OIS7A
Thank you!
Hi,
I have inspected your site but all I don’t see any odd behavior with the header logo, it seems to be loading normally. If you are still having problems try disabling all your plugins except Visual composer, check any caching set and clear it or disable it as a test, then see if there still is an issue.
Thanks
Hello,
You can use the category description if you want to place a text on a category page but you cannot use visual composer blocks on category pages. The categories are not standard pages as they cannot be edited as you would a page. Visual composer does not provide any category editing options. It can be done by altering the category templates though if you have the proper coding skills. You can use a do_shortcode function: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/ in the category templates to insert a visual composer block into a category.
Thank you!

Hello,
Our theme is fully responsive and will display properly on ANY device. Please test our official demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag
On your end it could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
The categories are not pages unfortunately so you cannot add elements to them as you would on a page in visual composer. There are no settings for adding content to the category pages. You can change the layout from the theme panel like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/xB3UjdgfEop but you cannot use the page builder on categories.
Thank you!
Hi,
Do you have the mobile theme activated now? I have inspected your website and it does not seem like it is. Try to install the mobile theme plugin from the downloaded theme package, and deactivate all your other plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check to see if it is working as intended. More information about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
I mean the category pages, not using visual composer

Hi,
The solution provided by Bogdan is for the background ad now working properly at the moment. I have inspected your site and I see that you have a background color set at the moment – https://www.screencast.com/t/X3ZsmIn8a
As for the post template image issue, I would suggest disabling all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check to see if the problem is still there.
Thanks
Hello willysawa,
Please notice that you can customize your latest articles module from Visual Composer editor, when you change the page template, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/mHQqJs3zOxA For more information about this feature, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Now what to do ?? do we need to update visual composer and theme both ??
Hi,
I have tested this with the Twitter link you provided, and everything seems to be in order – https://www.screencast.com/t/pcxTJjRTsg8 – https://www.screencast.com/t/0T3AmFqYPe9n and with an Imgur embed – https://www.screencast.com/t/tB7lYKEZnj – https://www.screencast.com/t/sbVw0Of6GjJ
maybe you have a plugin that is interfering with this process, try deactivating all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and try again. Also check any code you might have added in theme panel, or added to the theme files.
Thanks
Hello,
Please try this simple debugging method: please disable all plugins except visual composer(disable ad-ons), clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme. The test your back-end again.
Also please increase your system status parameters like show here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to reduce this space on page created in Visual composer, you could just set a negative margin top on the row containing the top element on those respective pages like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/t98Tw5klMMI and this will reduce the space – https://www.screencast.com/t/G9uPn3Lbs2J
Please let me know how it goes.
Thanks
