Dear community,

(1)I recently installed a demo from the Newspaper Theme to my website. I would like opt out of as many as possible in “Post and custom post types” menu. Whenever I uncheck all or some of the options, it will not change anything on what is displayed on the post on the website. Is this a bug?

So on the page of all the posts, it will still continue to display category tags, author name, date, post views etc. despite having it disabled.

I’m using the NewsPaper theme on wordpress.com since that is my host.

(2) So I have been installed and uninstalling the demos hundreds of times. Sometimes, I do get these dead links “about us” and “follow us” on the bottom of the website. I can’t remove it and I can’t make them clickable links. Does anyone know what’s causing this?

Having great difficulty changing the background image of the mobile menu dropdown. It currently has the demo’s image. I believe I have identified the css:

.td-menu-background, .td-search-background {
background-image: url(‘http://secureservercdn.net/198.71.233.68/4a2.614.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/mobile-bg.jpg’);
}
But when I put a new url here, I still get the demo image. Please help!

I understand it’s important to duplicate pages and posts and use those, not demo pages as my content, since demo content will be deleted on theme change or uninstall. Is the same true for MENUS and CATEGORIES? Or can I change the menu and category names to mine without fear of them being deleted on theme change? Thanks! – Landon

I´m trying it editing padding of all the block, but distance between end of the button and end of the element doesn´t changes with any value.

I saw that there is possibility to change the padding of the button https://www.screencast.com/t/GvuyAHWA but I don´t know what´s the form tu put the value (I´ve tried with 10 px or 10, but doesn´t works).

Would you help me?

I recently bought your theme after seeing one of your site’s demo.

You can clearly see that the post area and the sidebar are stretched [widely] and the theme looks quite good & bulky. But when I installed the same demo on my website there is no stretched post section or sidebar. It is still as same as the old one OR the default one (no stretch & tiny).

Issue: Mobile version of website is fugly

I first set up my website by importing the setting and all demo content for the “world new” child theme. I then changed some posts and added the revolution slider. However, on my website sportsblogit.com the mobile theme does not match the desktop theme. When I view the theme on mobile I only see “latest” articles, the header, and footer. There is no other content on the page. I imported all your demo content/settings and it was like this.

But when I view the child theme “world news” on your website the mobile template looks great. You have a slider, “must-read”, “latest” and social sharing. I would like this same design on my website and I don’t know what settings I must change.

Thank you so much in advance for four help. I´m trying to make something that seems simple, but I don´t get it. As in that model https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_nature/ I would like to fix the same forest image as background of a space. Following the model, I insert a new row empty and I put the image as background. I copied all the parametres but the forest don´t appears. How do I get a homepage like one of the demo packs (for example, the Default Demo), but without the sample content?
I like the way the homepage looks in the demos, but there seems to be no way to install this without the content AND have it look like the demo.
