Hello Catalin,

The functionality is present in Newspaper. I’m thinking this shouldn’t be hard to source on Newsmag as well.

After all, you guys made both 🙂

Hi,

Most of the page building block elements have the option to limit the post number displayed, If you would like to display a single post in a block, you will just have to set a limit like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/gt1txIMw7m1a
It all depends on the layout and block style that you choose to use for this, there are many elements that you can choose from in the Visual composer editor.
You can find all the settings and options available for the blocks in this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Also all the blocks currently available can be previewed in the live theme demo
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/

Thanks

Hi,

I do not see any problems with the drop-down menu on your website. This is how it looks on my end
https://www.screencast.com/t/0sd0RSiJ
And on the live demohttps://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
The header menu was subject to design changes in the recent theme updates, maybe you have updated from an older version and that is why it seems different. If you would like to modify the current menu please provide more details or a screenshot about how you would like it to be, and I will try to give you a solution.

Thanks

Hi,

First please check the system status of the theme and make changes to some parameters if needed, according to this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The try and import one of the demo sliders and add it to the page. More information here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
Please make sure that you assign a category or more from which the slide will display posts.
Simply add the slider element to the page structure
https://www.screencast.com/t/qOhBZ05b4N
https://www.screencast.com/t/pX90WSG3
And then it should display as intended on the page.
The Revolution slider plugin is very complex and has many options in all aspects, it may take a while to master. Here you can find all the documentation available on the official website, and see all the features this plugin has to better understand it, and help you get started using it

Hello radis92,

1)Yes, you can do it and choose what demo you like. To make it easier for you to choose, you can consult our demo preview and from there you can choose to see our available demo, like this -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

2,3)It looks to be ok. Very important is to make your own content and you should not edit the dummy content which comes with the demo if you will import with content because when you want to switch to another one, your data will be lost.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,
I understand I should install the demo without content.

1/ Can I switch on and off demos to check which one is the best ?

2 / I already have content on my website. Is this ok ?
https://radisrose.fr/

3 / Should I erase the actual content on the home page to have it blank to import the demo ?

Thank you.

Hello radis92,

Please keep in mind that all data will be loaded in your database and you can use them for any project(theme) you want. So, if you like a demo from our big list you should simply install it without content, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

From what I understand you would like to make the Video News demo similar to the Black Version demo. You could use css along with theme options to style it to look like the black demo. This would require you to identify the elements on the page and set the background you want, like in this example for the homepage
https://www.screencast.com/t/hFbDJhuNJr9e
You can use the browser inspector to identify these elements and include them in the code
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
But also you could just install the black demo which is already using a black accent and overall color, and just recreate the page structure form the other demo.

Thanks

Hello,

The demos do not change the theme functionality. The block settings are present on every demo: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
If you cannot access the visual composer apge editor, that probably means you have a plugin that prevents this. Please disable all plugins except visual composer and clear cache. Then test the visual composer page builder again.

Thank you!

Hi,

I believe that for optimal results you should use at least a Full HD resolution image. For example the demo uses this image size as background on that particular category template
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/template-style-6/
https://www.screencast.com/t/F3sXWyeOP6

Hi

When I paste an URL in a post it is shown in white.
An example of my blog: https://japon-secreto.com/asi-abril-japon-mes-los-cerezos-flor/

Since I set the dark Newspaper demo I prefer to set those windows in black or grey or something like that.
Is it possible?

Thank you

Hi,

On that particular category template you have to set a background image or color, for the respective category
https://www.screencast.com/t/pyKpP6uUb7w8
This is how it looks in the demohttps://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/template-style-6/

Thanks

Hi,

It’s been a week, since the website has been uploaded to server for this URL http://www.khabribabu.com/.

1st >> My point is, that i have created new categories and published new posts under their respected category.

As visitors are visiting my posts published under their respected category, so a maximum number of times a post visited should come accordingly, under the popular category of footer’s 3rd column.

2nd >> why the default category is still being listed under popular category, as the default post(demo data) are neither visited nor displayed anywhere in the website.

The default category should have been automatically replaced by the new ones, as per the popularity.

Hi,

I plan to use Big Grid Slide on my home page. I have 2 problems:

– I cannot put category tags to the posts in the Big Grid Slide, there is no option to turn it on in the Theme Panel / Block settings / Category tag on Modules/Blocks page for the Big Grid Slide. How can I turn it on?

– The nice mouse over effect – zooming in the images a little bit when cursor is over them – like on your demos pages doesn’t work. It is not working on any big grid either, nor on category pages. How can I make this effect work?

I use 7.8.1 version of the newspaper theme.

Thanks,

Adam

Hi,

If you take a look at our official demo here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ you will see that each block has another color set to the hover. This is done from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/nG9RJ9TckZYh

Thank you!

Hello,

The theme background does not affect the content, the header or the footer. The theme background color is just the outside of the theme. It does not affect any at all content.
There is no setting to change the main content background. This was never part of the theme so updating or switching to an older version will have no impact on your content color. The white background always was hard-coded in the theme css. Only the black theme demo changes the main content to black. Maybe you simply changed
demos after updating.

Thank you!
