I’ve been having an issue with my Vimeo playlist which is not showing any videos. The playlist seems a bit unstable.
– When I start a brand new fresh page with the vimeo playlist, and use the demo videos there it is fine.
– When I try and paste the codes to the videos I want to show (115133786, 114927223, 114595743) it is totally blank. I also don’t have any other videos or playlists on this page. See page (http://65c.c5d.myftpupload.com/queens-wharf-precinct/)

This is indeed affected by the post title hover color, like you can see on our main demo page here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ don;t miss has an orange category tag hover and lifestyle news has a green hover color. It’s the same on the fashion demo. Only the hover color is affected, not the main color. Here is a quick example:

The block title colors affect the hover for the entire block including the post titles and the category tag.

Thanks, that’s a great start! The effect is perfect, but I have one problem: the footer loses its dark background and becomes white and nearly impossible to see using that code, not the same effect as the demo.

Well, my question is the next. I’ve decided to start from sport demo theme but I have a problem with the homepage or “NEWS” page in the main menu. I don’t want to have this “NEWS” label/page/link like a button to go to my homepage. I want to conserve the design of the homepage but without the “NEWS” link in the menu. I want that the only way to go to homepage will be press on the logo. And I only want in the main menu links to other pages like contact or other category pages. How I could disappear this “NEWS” and conserve at the same time the home design?

Hola, desde el pasado dia 11/04/2016 cuando intento subir una imagen al wordpress me da error http, segun mi empresa de hosting y despues de muchos dias estando probando este es el error:
He intentado desactivar los plugins temporalmente y arreglar los permisos globalmente de tu sitio web, pero nada de esto ha ayudado a resolver el HTTP error, visto al subir imagenes desde la pagina de admin – Medios – Añadir nuevo.
Parece que el asunto se debe a la plantilla Newspaper que estas utilizando porque cuando estaba intentando subir una imagen, me da el siguiente error:

Parece que hay limites (max_execution_time) definidos en el Newspaper tema que utilizas que causan el problema. Puedes contactar al soporte o equipo que lo ha desarrollado para preguntar como puedes aumentar estos limites y asi seguiras utilzando el tema (me temo que no podemos ayudar con esto ya que no ofrecemos servicios de desarrollo/diseño).
¿Como podemos solucionarlo?

It seems that there are limits (max_execution_time) defined in the Newspaper theme you use that cause the problem. You can contact support or equipment that has developed to ask how you can increase these limits and so seguiras utilzando the subject (I’m afraid we can not help with this because it does not offer services development / design). </ Blockquote>

Poti incerca sa dezactivezi toate pluginurile exceptand Visual composer si sa eliberezi cach-ul. Poate unele plug-inuri nu sunt compatibile cu internet explorer. Tema in stadiul ei default nu are aceasta problema. Se poate testa in internet explorer demo-ul nostru: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

In newspaper demo is using only the Visual Composer element for Author, as the example the Author Box feature. If you want to have the link for each post, you have to simply add the author for your post and then, when the post is shown on blocks/modules and click on the name of the author will be direct to the page of the author that are by default set it from WordPress -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author/admin/ -> http://screencast.com/t/t0nffZheh9k5 . If you want to have more options for the author page, you will have to search some plugins with this functionality and see how it works for you.

As you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/790Nmrmx64 the footer section for Travel demo is a custom one. This is a transparent image applied to the background with background-image for a light background.
That social counter does not come from our theme. If you want to have the same effect you will need to use some plugins with this functionality and see how it works for you.

I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also make sure that your permission for the upload folder are set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in media library. If the process succeeds then the permission are ok. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.

I contract with my hosting provider. My hosting provider is asking for requirements of the connection for installing demos. They sent me this message:
I understand, thank you for clarification. I have contacted our techs and basically, there are no particular limitations for ajax requests. However, it is not clear what are the parameters for connection to remote server, so we recommend contacting theme developer to figure out all the requirements for connection.

Yes, I have read now the documentation, I had Visual Composer also in a previous WP site, so I was a little surprised that it did not work here in “FrontPage” mode, as this is how I usually build my pages.
I was propmted by the plugings panel to purchase it again, so I did it, but it made no difference…
Is there any way in which I can have the Visual Composer working in FrontPage mode with this templates?
Anyway, I got the point and now I am editing the superb template of the demo, as it offers a high number of variations to show the posts, and full featured with all kind of plugins, so I will soon have a brand new magazine with a fantastic look and fully responsive (mobile friendly test always perfect of course).

I looked at your demos before I purchased the theme and one think I liked was the possibility of having different colors for different category tags (accordingly to the blocks, I think). Just as shown here:

In your demo, for example, the first block on the left column has tags with black background with hover in orange; further down, in “Hot Stuff Coming” block, the background is still black but the hover color is violet; and then in the footer, the category tag background is salmon.
I was expecting the ability to control this in the theme control panel but I don’t think that’s possible. How can I define the colors and hovers for these category tags independently?

You simply have to check your backend and try to edit yourself the default setup page for Default demo or what kind of demo you are using.
