Hi,
can you tell me what do I need to do to delete, or disable the “Install Demos” menu under the Newspaper Menu? We do not want our client to try out of curiosity to use a different demo than the one we already worked on.

Our theme was tested with all versions of IE from 8 to 11. You can check our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ . There you will see the default state of the theme and you can inspect it yourself on IE 8 9 and 10.
I have checked your site and it seems to have some sort of interference.
Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer to make sure that it is not a plugin conflict, also clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN. Let me know if you still have this issue afterwards.

I’m not sure. We haven’t tested the theme’s post on reedit and we didn’t get any reports in this regard also. You could try to post an article form our demo and see if you get the same behavior: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/

How do you implement the Latest Article, like the Newspaper Demo?
It does a nice job of showing just the post images and title.
Below it, it shows the number of pages (1-14), so you can jump to a specific page or page next.
I tried adding the Block 3, which is a simple grid, and turning on pagination, which is close, but it does not do the nice list of pages to jump to, or the page count.
It just shows a forward and backward arrow.

If you just need to setup the homepage, use the codes and guidance Alin given you on the forum and build the page using the page builder of the Visual Composer plugin. If you’re still not familiar with the theme and how to sue it I suggest you setup a testing wp install then import theme’s demo and using theme’s docs go trough its settings. Would help you in your site’s development. Sorry for delay! We answer to the most oldest topics so if you add new replies we get later to your topic.
The theme comes with some plugins that you can use if you want(you can find them in the /plugins folder from package that you downaload from themeforest), but only the Visual Composer plugin is required for the theme, the rest of them are optional. So please make sure that you install and activate Visual Composer from here – http://screencast.com/t/kndfWQPa so it must solve your code issue on front-end.
If you install the demo with content, it has some predefined articles, pages, menus to help user to make an idea about what they can achieve with the theme and how it works.

Hi I bought the theme Newsmag and I failed to see the ads created in my adsense account. put the code that gives me google but the header and sidebar even in the post only look blanks. Reinstall WordPress Host Account (copanel) FTP then the full theme and demos and in no time I see them. I will be doing wrong

When you install a demo, it will set the demo’s homepage and content (categories, pages, etc.)

I need to use the HEALTH template on my health site, so far i have no clue with the setup. unlike the tech, fashion that is preloaded into the editor screen.
Like the demos, I want to add custom links to the top bar header for buddypress related links. I made a menu for links that I wanted and went to the Visual Composer theme and selected the top menu I made to show up on the top bar template but that did nothing.
When Buddypress is activated, the login/ join link shows up the top bar but when clicked, the popup login appears but there’s no way to “sign up/join”, i.e. make a new account.
I installed wordpress into another directory doing a clean install and uploaded 6.4 template, then installed the travel demo settings and voila it worked perfectly. No issues with wp-config, htaccess etc etc.. No server issues whatsoever..
Turns out the problem is with the script to update template from 4.3 to 6.4. Old settings in the DB?
wp options ID 41,42 (template, stylesheet) shows value of Newspaper, yet in the new DB with clean install it shows Newspaper 6.4, if I edit the old name to Newspaper 6.4 the theme breaks.
So how do we fix this? I am not skilled enough to prune out old template codeā¦. What table, field in the DB could use a clean up?
Also..With the clean install, the WP Site URL and Home URL are a match. Currently it is not a match in the site that Iām trying to fix. https, and http are the valuesā¦ although in the DB the values are both http, so where is that bogus code hiding?

You can easily remove the grey area by choosing a different style for your Big Grid. You can use Style 4 for brighter images.
