Hello aktifje,
Unfortunately, page speed is something you will have to adjust yourself. There is no ‘promised speed’ as this depends on lots of things starting with your server. You need to optimize your site by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
The guide shows exactly the steps needed to remove render block js and CSS. There is no easier way to explain it. Please follow every step closely and keep in mind that speed booster has a compatibility list for plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/incompatible-plugin-detected/
We can’t offer speed customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you. Also, as you can see in our tutorial, these kinds of information are addressed only for ADVANCED USERS.
Thank you for your understanding!
Dont worry, Minify code can positively affect your SEO score because your website loads faster 🙂
Compress 2 or more codes in one can damage your score because it takes longer to download a large file 🙁

Hello,
Unfortunately wp-rocket is known to cause issues with our theme. Please switch to wp super cache as this is the tested caching plugin with our theme.
As for the gzip compression. this is made on the server level. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!
Hi,
You can improve your page speed by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
If you check our demo in the google page speed tool, you will see that there is no problem with the theme: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdemo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewspaper%2F&tab=desktop
Thank you!
Hello klemensH,
Please notice that the GZIP compression and the caching process is two different things and unrelated to each other. Please consult your hosting provider and check this option for GZIP compression. For more information about these options, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
Hi Sander,
Maybe one of our users can help in this matter as we cannot offer any customization services at the moment.
Another way to go about this is to hire a freelancer from sites like studio.envato.com
Some of the the customization you can do yourself by making use of this forum. There are lots of topics to multiple issues and customization and there is also the documentation that has lots of useful info including how to speed up your site: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster
Thank you!
Hello newtag,
I have tested on my side, without Visual Composer and with the infinite loading for the category page and it are working as properly. Please try without untested plugins if you are using because its could cause som errors in the theme and could cause this type of issue. The only recommended plugin used to move the js to the footer is our tagDiv speed booster. For more references about this kind of plugin you will find in our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and please notice that this tutorial is only addressed for advanced users.
If you need more assistance in this regard and if your pagination for category pages are not working, please provide your WEBSITE URL so I can further inspect the issue.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello Castle Yen,
Please notice that if you want to improve your page speed it is not a simple task and you will need to have at least basic knowledge PHP/HTML, not necessarily ‘tech savvy’ and also, you should be aware of all modifications which you do into your site .
We have an optional plugin for speed optimization, like speed booster and you will have to set it according to our documentation.
You will need to follow this tutorial on page speed:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ Gzip compression needs to be active and also read about how you can compress the images. I suggest to getting someone to help you if you cannot manage.
Also please make sure that Speed Booster is active, check System Status for this – http://screencast.com/t/LDPniI0Qpv The plugin is tested only with these plugins – http://screencast.com/t/hcjLnOqh4i2 and if you have others active it will be automatically disabled.
In order to use the TagDiv speed booster with all plugins, you will need to remove this code – http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh
Also, please try to run your website without many untested plugins because these will affect the behavior of the theme and could create some errors in the theme.
Hello,
The block settings are very easy to access. Simply hover over them and the green menu will appear. then click on the pencil button like so: http://screencast.com/t/Gv5Tk7JGY
Ad for pagespeed, there you will have to do a bit of reading because if your site is loading slow then you need to start to optimize it from the server down. This involves a bit of reading. please follow a few topics about how to optimize wordpress first:
http://www.sparringmind.com/speed-up-wordpress/
Then you can follow our own guide here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!
Hi Andrei,
I have figured out the problem with the search icon. It is because of CDN.
Im using keyCDN and whenever I installed a plugin and activate the CDN, the icons are missing.
Can you please provide a solution to this? I need CDN to run site faster.
Thanks.

Hello
Like everyone I try to have the fastest site.
wwww.virutalmagie.com
It seems the events plugin slow the site.
But in the waterfall, the Roboto and Open Sans seem to do that also.
Here the test without the ads:
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.virtualmagie.com/UoeRZHyE
Maybe is it possible to do something by putting the font directly on my site?
By analysing these tests, if you have any other ideas to charge the site faster, please let me know.
Regards
Hello,
You will need to optimize your install a bit. First by following these guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
And for the page speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
A note on the speedbooster plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
@orlando You can also use theme’s speed booster plugin which was developed in this scope, you can find more details on this here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Hope this helps!
Hello,
Page speed is a very ‘individual’ case and it depends on a number of things starting from the hosting you use. We have a guide on how to increase it but you will have a bit of reading to do on this topic. (many online resources on the subject)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
As a note on the speedbooster plugin:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
Thank you!
Hello newtag,
If you have set it your Speed booster as properly according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and if you are sure that you do not have some js errors in the theme caused by the untested plugin, please try to check your source page with Ctrl+U and check if your code is moving in the footer section. Try this without other plugins which can affect this plugin. Also, please notice that is only for advanced users and if you are not aware to the steps about setting this, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
For your second request, I have tested the Homepage post element and Single Template style 8 and everything seems to work as expected and the background image is displayed right.
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
There is no need. I should have known it was a text block…as it’s an exception. It will get it’s formatting from visual composer you you have to use css to change it. (it’s best provide as many details as possible in the future so we can provide the solution faster)
A text box title font can be changed with this css:
.wpb_text_column h1, .wpb_text_column h2, .wpb_text_column h3, .wpb_text_column h4, .wpb_text_column h5, .wpb_text_column h6, .wpb_text_column h7{
font-family: "Times New Roman", Georgia, Serif;
}
Thank you!

Hello,
Please check to see if you have entered the correct id’s for your plugins and fonts. Also make sure that the quotation marks of your added code are identical to the ones in the default code (problem in php)
Please check all the steps again from this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and if all render blocks are not detected, you can follow this topic to see how to change the priority of speedbooster:
