Hi,
By default jquery.js loads at the top – http://screencast.com/t/WwST1XHbB
If you use Speed Booster the minified version is loaded at the page bottom. – http://screencast.com/t/sTbcQnTBh – http://screencast.com/t/fDpI7lbGl9
You could try without Speed Booster or you could try to move the WP-Subcribe Pro js file at the bottom using the technique described in this guide (chapter 4) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Also try to disable the rest of the plugins, except for Visual Composer while doing tests.
Thank you, Emil G.

This random page with newsmag, no caching plugin, no cdn, 3 google ads, google fonts, and youtube video gets a 95 rating…
http://gtmetrix.com/reports/ga-ga.com/zQXF31Wz
It will be faster once i fix the font loading.
Also, youtube links now need to be long version and not the yout.be version, since its a redirect.
Every little thing adds up somewhere.

Why not ask your CDN service ? They’re the one who sold you the plan?
A CDN “can” “in most cases” speed up a website by loading things like photos from a server closer to the person viewing it; meaning somebody in NY might get an image faster than somebody in CA, if loading the image from a server based in NY.
This doesn’t always mean the pages load any faster for PageSpeed. We ended up just loading things from our own server as the CDN didn’t “really” speed things up for us in actual practice. It’s more useful on large shared hosting accounts.
This info may be useful 🙂
http://gtmetrix.com/why-use-a-cdn.html
In the changelog I read this improvement:
“improvement: when the user disables the post view, the theme will stop keeping track of them in the background -> faster loading time”
Can I sort after this update (with disabled post views) by popularity?
Hi,
If you test your site using page speed insights pr gtmetrix you can find all issues you have to fix and also steps you need to follow to get this done: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fvidzo.ru%2F&tab=desktop
Use the guide for page speed, without any additional plugins will help you achieve this just do some research on this because as stated in the guide this is not recommended if you are not aware of what you are doing, in this case I also suggest you get someone to help you with this.
As Chris also stated here:
Read through all my suggestions here: – start on last page and go backward.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pagespeed/
(some of my suggestions are also in the theme docs already or were added, so you may want to start here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ )
..you can go trough the page speed topic as you will find answers to many of your questions there.
You can also find more info and suggestions here:

Hi,
For your site’s page speed I can use the tagdiv speed booster plugin and this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ but first I suggest you turn off all plugins, empty cache/purge files and use this guide to regenerate your thumbnails so that the theme creates the thumbnails for old images form your content: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/

I have another question about the visual composer. In Backend Editor, we can set the column by clicking on the pencil icon (Edit menu this column). On the tab “width and responsiveness”, there is an option to hide columns on certain devices that are checked in. I try to check on some screens, but when checked from smartphones, there is no difference with the previous. This function does not work.
http://screencast.com/t/K9NAxYL0
How do I fix this? The goal is to ensure that the content on the small screen (smartphone) is less than on the desktop, so access is faster and more efficient. Thanks.
Hi, I have seen that NewsMag already got it (and also some of your competitors on themeforest). I think it’s a really useful addon. When you plan to add it to Newspaper?
Also I noticed that with last upgrades the scrolling is faster and less precise. From my point of view it’s uncomfortable. Is it possible to disable that kind of scroll?
Thanks
Hello,
I can´t get the “modal image” working correctly when I have Photon activated at Jetpack.
Photon is an image acceleration and editing service for sites hosted on WordPress.com or on Jetpack-connected WordPress sites. That means less load on your host and faster images for your readers.
http://jetpack.me/support/photon/
I think it’s a possible bug.
Hi,
Great idea to start a thread on this.
I’m just setting up the Newsmag theme with WordPress on A2 Optimzed hosting, this wordpress install comes with A2’s own plugin and W3 Total Cache pre installed and customized to make WordPress run faster but obviously not for this theme as we are having an issue with how the plugin and the theme interact
Basically we have disabled all of the cache functions in W3 total cache and the theme runs fine, as soon as we run it with the page cache it pushes all of the posts to the left side of the page.
I am running this site with site wide https:// and the problem only seems to occur on https:// for the other prefixes www and http the problem doesn’t appear.
We will be testing the plugin further over the weekend but it is difficult to tease out the functionality of W3 on it’s own as it is integrated into the A2 hosting plugin, had I realised this from the beginning I don’t think I would of gone down the W3 route but we this is where we find ourselves.
I’ll let you know the results of our testing.
Hi,
I need help to set your speed-booster:
as I learned from your guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
$ this-> move_js_to_footer (‘FILE-ID’);
$ this-> move_style_to_footer (‘FILE-ID’);
to add on td-speed-booster.php
I can not find the class id of the following links to be able to insert it in
Remove the JavaScript code that blocks the view:
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js?ver=1.11.1
/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/js/td_site.min.js?ver=1.4
/wp-includes/js/comment-reply.min.js?ver=4.1
Optimize CSS publication of the following:
/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/css/js_composer.css?ver=4.3.5
/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/style.css?ver=1.4
http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed:400italic,700italic,700,400|Open+Sans:400italic,600italic,700italic,400,700,600?ver=1.4
As learned from PageSpeed Google.
Appearance for your feedback about
good job

yes! you need to delete that cache whenever you do major changes to your site .. since “caching” basically makes snapshots of your pages to load them faster, and so it means the old pages are still being served until you reset that, so that the NEW pages get cached.
See the help docs for your web hosting on how to use the caching function.
I helped a client with his site hosted at GoDaddy and I had to clear that damn cache twice for any major updates like changing some widgets, or the CSS, or ad modules, etc. No way to turn it off either!
Hi,
You can still use the W3 Total Cache plugin just makes sure you use it with just the page cache enabled and without the minification options or CDN: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ the fifth step.
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately the only customization you can do to the tag page can be doe from theme panel > template settings and involve the articles display view on the page and the sidebar position: http://screencast.com/t/yzjSD04ah
Other customization can be done to the template file but having each tag page customized is not an easy task and you would need custom work for that or you could also try search an use a plugin if there is one that can help you achieve what you want.
Regarding your site’s speed you can use the guides I’ve pasted below and the tagdiv speedbooster plugin to do it:

Hi,
We do recommend the use of W3 total cache plugin with just the page cache enabled and without the minification options or CDN: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ the fifth step.
I have checked your site and noticed that you do use CDN which generates lots of errors: http://screencast.com/t/Iww2px49is
Please make sure that you disable CDN and just leave page caching active then check for this again without any plugins active, disable all of them leaving just Visual Composer and W3TC and test again.
Please let mew know how it goes!
Thanks

Hi,
The I have checked your site an noticed that you also use html/css/js minifyed which we don’t recommend as it can cause issue of this type.
Unfortunately we haven’t made any tests with Speed Booster Pack so I can’t provide you an accurate answer on how this but you can also address this question to plugins support or you can use the tagdiv speed booster plugin which was provided within theme files: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks
