This can be don by admin and editor. But, the situation it is a little be different, the grid or block that use the post ids will display only those posts, so if you have 4 posts in a grid, and want to freeze a specific post, then the grid would show like this -> https://i.imgur.com/kwjeA90.png therefore, I suggest to use the big grid flex 1, so you can choose the grid layout -> https://i.imgur.com/Jb9b4LG.jpg after the number of posts that you want to display.

I cleared the browser cache and tried to default flex block. Still the same problem.

It shows that FLEX BLOCK 5 is set to display LAST from ALL CATEGORIES.
But it does not show last post.
You can see the last file on the top of posts list in admin.
Alternatively, I tried to set FEATURED for this block, but again it does not show the latest FEATURED articles.

P.S. as for the Mobile Temlate. I know that I should disable it, please let me know how.

This can be done if you set the post id in the filter tab of the block/grid -> https://prnt.sc/26x0d1t then will be display only those posts until you remove the posts ids.

If you use the same Single Post Template for all posts, once added that option, Single Post view, will be displayed for all posts, it does not need to be added for each post separately.
In this path are all single post template settings

The date is not showing in my Flex Block even though it’s turned on and the text color is black:

Sorry but I need to set this feature for every post. I can’t tell the editor to add a field and change the single post view every time someone add a new post. I’m sure you understand the magazine’s staff can’t use TagDiv composer.

The problem I mentioned is exactly the same one you mentioned. FLEX filter does not filter the content in this section. Even when a selected feature, articles are not appearing from this category.
I tried the LATEST post filter as well, but it does not arrange articles according to this filter.
Is the Ajax filter option necessary to show Featured or Latest posts?

I tried using the “Flex box” but without success. Take a look at the picture – the lenght od the excerpt (and the title) is “greyed out” and can’t be edited.

You need to set your own length, there is a default length.
Also, I recommend you to use Flex Block and Big Grid Flex which gives you more adjustment and flexibility options than blocks (1-25) from tagDiv Standard Pack.

Referrign to your remark in your first reply “To make a page for each subcategory and set there a flex block with the filters that you want.”, I have a couple of questions:
1. When I am on https://ztratum.com/category/stock-ideas/ and I click on edit from the tagdiv composer it goes to “Investment methods” section of my website. Do you know why? I have made printscreens, but do not have an upload button.
AlsoI have set a flexblock on https://ztratum.com/category/stock-ideas/ and https://ztratum.com/category/shortlists/. I have put a filter with 3 ids in the stock-ideas flexblock, but it automatically puts the 3 ids also in the filter of the other flexblock at shortlists. Why is that?

I have 2 categories: “News” and “Meetings”. I want to display all posts from “News” ordered by latest AND one single post from “Meetings” which is always displayed in the first position (a sticky post). Hence, what I want is something like this:
– Post of “Meetings” (sticky on position 1)
– Latest post of “News”
– 2nd latest post of “News”
– 3rd latest post of “News”
etc.
Is this possible?
I noticed that this theme does not have the checkbox “featured” that can publish article in main position – usually called FEATURED. In this theme it looks like featured position must be the largest image.
So I created a category called “FEATURED”.
The above block (flex block 5, in the center) now is set in order to show only articles from category “FEATURED”.
But the block does not show FEATURED articles. There is no logic that it uses now. Articles are picked randomly instead of picking from category ID 2. (look at image)
Please tell me if this theme has a tool that can place articles in a FEATURED position.
OR at least suggest the way to show in FLEX BLOCK 5, articles from the category FEATURED only.

No plugin conflict I can find
One strange thing is that the custom work from Tagdiv adds the ‘live category tag’ options to all flex blocks – this new label should appear near to that menu item that I have on my theme – but doesn’t
The Big Grids do not have the ‘live category tag’ option from TD custom work, but the new label option DOES appear on FlexGrids
As I said though the custom work was a few updates ago and all has been fine until this improvement

On the 11.4 changelog – it says that the new custom label feature ( extra label ) is on all flex items
But on my update it only appears in the TDC settings for flex grids – not flex blocks – am I missing something?
