Hi,
here is a fix for this issue. Please an moderator to confirm it and why not to put it in the next theme update.
So, you have to put the below code into the theme settings -> custom code -> custom css
html[class*=ie] [class*=td_flex_block_] .td-image-container{
float:left;
margin-right:10px;
}
Let me know 😉

The last newspaper theme update removed footers and blocks (I only have the Flex blocks as an option), removed all my header changes, and who know what else. How do I get them back? The code for my home page is fine, it’s just not rendered as the blocks it refers to are not there.
Could you please give an advise what property should I use, to add a fixed height to flex blocks?
Some titles might be short.. so excerpt it’s not an option for me.

Animals Magazine PRO – Main block on Main page.
Could you please give a quick advice what should I do (where and what property to add) to make the height of flex blocks fixed? Thanks.
I’ve got two questions.
I am using the Romania News demo. There is a flex Box 5 which does not display the Special Filter: Category: Current Category. I deactivated all plugins except TagDiv but no joy. Can you please advise how to fix this?
Secondly, adverts from the Theme Panel are not working on the Romania News demo templates. The only way that I can display ads is to edit the template and add them there. Is this how it is meant to operate?
Thanks
Hello, I’ve spend hours trying to make the background of the main CONTENT ZONE transparent…
In the TD Editor under CONTENT > ZONE > CSS I’ve tried changing the color where it says BACKGROUND COLOR but nothing seems to be affected…
I’ve even tried looking at the HTML source and adding this to the LIVE CSS EDITOR:
.td-main-content-wrap,
.td-main-page-wrap,
.td-container-wrap,
.tdc-content-wrap,
.tdc-zone,
.tdi_2_eeb,
.wpb_row,
.td-pb-row,
.tdc-element-style,
.td-big-grid-flex,
.td-big-grid-flex-scroll,
.td_block_wrap,
.td_block_big_grid_flex_5,
.tdi_10_e0e,
.td-pb-border-top,
.td_block_template_14,
.td-big-grid-flex-posts
{
background-color: transparent!important;
}
Nothing seems to work. Why is this so hard???
Finding the right place for this in the TD EDITOR settings should really be MUCH simpler!
Hi,
I have used that code to display subtitles in many modules: td_module_flex_1.php, td_module_flex_5.php even in tdb_module_related.php.
Now I want to make this change in tdb_module_loop.php but it doesn’t work.
Is it possible to display subtitles in loops? Please let me know if that’s possible and how.
Thanks for your help
Hi Vlad,
I am facing the same problem. Calin has replied but I think you need to check the problem at your end. My link given below:

Hi,
Yes, the Big Grid Flex 3 have set some custom css that is apply on mobile version too, there are few ways to fix this, first you need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
1. you can replace the bloc and adjust it.
2. you can reset the block styles using the right click -> https://i.imgur.com/5IFC3y3.jpg
3. you can inspect in css tab, it can be set a width -> https://i.imgur.com/9oA9Jcp.jpg
After that check the mobile version -> https://i.imgur.com/25CbFxo.png
I personally recommend step 1 or 2.
Thank you!
Hello !
If you are using a post template from the cloud library you can change the last block and add a flex block which will allow you to make more changes to it. As you can see here you can have the relation using the filter tab: https://www.screencast.com/t/kEAnOPRbzG
Thank you !
I am referring to the latest posts box in the footer. The article titles of that flex box are Aligned on the right side of the images. However here it appears below the image and not balanced on right side. That is the problem I was referring to. Funnily in my Chrome it looks right aligned but for you all Your browsers are The box is showing the title below the image.
Hello, I saw similar problems with other users in comment section of theme page. So I think you should test it:
Create flex blocks on the homepage with different styles and check it in different browsers like chrome, edge, firefox. Edge has that problem of misplaces boxes.
Hi,
To reduce the number of thumbs that our theme is creating, you can disable the thumbs that you do not use from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/7ljrAAH.png
We usually recommend to use flex blocks and flex grids, in this way you can reduce the number of thumbs that you’ll use.
Thank you!
Hello,
I am using the newspaper life news demo, on mobile the theme ranks the Flex Bock1 elements (what are in middle and right top position on desktop) below the Flex Bock5 elements How can I move these Flex Bock1 elements at the top position on mobile?

Thanks for your answer, but could you tell me what codes should I clone and modify to add a new image size in flex block 1?.
On the other hand, I need to make the same modification, in the block of related articles that appears in a single that I install from the cloud library (Single Post Template 1)
Hi,
Unfortunately the comments can not be achieve in Big Grid Flex, it can be achieve only for flex blocks, what you want to achieve it can be done only with custom work, if you want you can check our custom services from here -> https://tagdiv.com/web-development-services/
What you can do is to use 2 flex block 1 elements to achieve something similar with big grid flex 2.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
A place where the thumbs for flex block is create is this one -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php -> https://i.imgur.com/lAVEnyD.png
Also if you want to set the code in a flex block, like flex block 1 then the file is on this path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_flex_block_1.php
Thank you!
Hello !
Those blocks are no longer available. Now you can add that through flex blocks with filtering options: https://www.screencast.com/t/f5CV38ffxe
Thank you !
I have used flex boxes extensively on my site https://facesoman.com/ in various single post templates.
I work on TagDiv Composer on templates in google chrome browser. The flex box looks perfect in google chrome browser however when you open my site in Firefox or Edge the flex boxes look displaced and wonky. The text shows below the photo instead of floating on the side.
A good example is the latest posts flex box in the footer of my site. In google chrome browser the footer with latest posts looks perfect but in other browsers the text is diplaced
On my homepage I like to have the number of comments and views in the meta-info. There is a possiblity to do that in the Blocks like Flex, but I can’t find it how to manage this in Big Grid Flex. Do you have a suggestion for me?
Hello !
You will need to remove the BLOCK and use FLEX Blocks.
Thank you !
Hi,
You can use the search from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/ShAOZjt.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/GQVqNn9.jpg also this option is available only on flex elements:
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/big-grid-flex-settings/
Or you can try a custom css for all background categories -> https://i.imgur.com/0K71TD4.png
.td-post-category{
background-color: #e12!important;
}
The code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.
If you want to make a testing website on sub-domain or localhost, then you’ll not have any problems with the license agreement, only if you want to use it on multiple website.
You can read more about it here:
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/ end products (live websites).
According to Envato license terms a theme can be used for a single end product (website)
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular
Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry, the pagination is available only on posts loop element, it can not be achieve on flex block.
Thank you!
Hi,
To remove the page title use the page template default -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Unfortunately the background category from blocks can be change only with custom css, only on flex blocks can be change using tagDiv Composer.
example of css -> https://i.imgur.com/yXxD1P3.png
.td_block_11 .td-post-category{
background-color: gray;
}
The code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.
Also we recommend to use a flex bloc -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ this can be customize how you want.
To adjust the mobile view please try this custom css
-> https://i.imgur.com/X7vnWru.png
.td_block_11.td-column-1 .td_module_10 .item-details {
padding-left: 0;
}
the code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> advance> phone
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately the only image size available on flex blocks are these -> https://i.imgur.com/g0Xp2In.png there is no option in theme to create other thumb size that can be use by flex block, this can be achieve only if you make change in theme files and these will be lost when you’ll update the theme.
The best way it will be to optimize your website -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-optimization-2/
Also the above php code can be set only in theme files and this is not indicate.
The code must be set in one of the files from this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single the important thing is that you need to have that element on your cloud template and the code for buttons should work.
Thank you for your understanding!
