Hello,
You can adjust the header , footer and pages to be full width, but not the main content on posts, categories or other templates.
The theme does not have a dynamic width unfortunately for the main content.
Here is the theme panel section: https://www.screencast.com/t/DcfvGSv0ZZXz
And for pages, please use the stretch row functionality of the row settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/Lt8SEMCmG
Thank you!
Hello,
Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
The predefined content can only be removed if you switch to an empty footer template and add your own content in the widgets area under the 3 footer sections.
Thank you!
Hello reni,
Please notice that the Pick Editor is just a simple block which is automatically added with the Footer Template. I’ll recommend you to use another Footer Temple, like Template Style 5 because there you can add every block you want and place it in Footer 1,2,3, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ Also,
if you mean how you can change the string name of this footer block, please notice that you can do this from TRanslations setting in Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4RuHHVYg -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wFO8QYcjEhP
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Scumbag,
Please keep in mind that not all of footer templates use that three widgets from Widgets section for footer area, sorry! Please notice that our theme has a big list of footer templates with different styles which can be found here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/ After changes, you should clear all of the caches and check the results.
Regarding on your second problem, please provide a useful screenshot so I can b able to investigate it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
Hello dheerhuis,
Please make sure you make the changes where you need it according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Switch to one of the other footer templates, and then you can put your own elements into them. The ‘default’ versions are there for folks who DON’T want to change them. SO, pick one of the other footer templates and you can change them to whatever you want 🙂
Hello,
The predefined content cannot be changed unfortunately. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
Thanks.
Hello 414,
I guess that here is talking about footer template 2. Please take a look at our footer style at our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello 414,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what do you want to achieve? Provide more details regarding on footer style so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Also, please notice that we have some footer templates which can be found here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Also, you can provide some useful screenshots for a better understanding!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
You will have to create a starting point to personalize the website. For example from the top and work your way down.
The logo, header style, top menu and main menu can be changed with your own in the header
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XmmhcrOuH
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
This is a tutorial for the tagDiv composer that you will use to create and customize pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Make the changes you want in the header and then the homepage is next. Opening the homepage with the tagDiv composer will allow you to add/remove elements, modify block titles, block filtering system, post sorting etc
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
In the footer section as well you can modify all aspects
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PZdGWroQUdO
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Hopefully this will provide you some useful information. When you have more questions or you are stuck, you can always create a topic on the forum and ask, or describe the problem. We will try our best to help you as soon as possible.
Here you can find all the theme documentation
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Thanks
Yes, you can split the footer in 3 columns. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
Thank you!
Hello,
you cannot edit the predefined footer content: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Please choose a footer template that does not have predefined content, and add your own content in the widgets area.
Thank you!
Hello kessler213,
Please notice that our theme has a lot of footer templates which can be customized from Widgets section. Also, please notice that if you want to make your own footer template and if you want to fully customize it, you should use the Footer Template Syle 5 which allows you to do this. For more information about our footer templates, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Some footer templates come with predefined content, like the sections you are mentioning. Other widgets that you add to the footer columns will be displayed along with this content
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
You can choose a different footer template (like an empty template) and add only your own content, which you can customize the way you want. If you would like to keep this footer template and modify those widget titles, you will have to modify this in the code here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gcvvHAS1N
As you can see those sections are simply a block 7 and a popular category widget, pre-added in the footer template style 2.
Thanks
Hello avstu,
You should check our predefined footer templates and also, you can use the footer template style 5 to customize it as you wish. please notice that we cannot provide any kind of additional customization because we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry!
If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you, because we cannot provide custom work, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
You can choose from 14 footer templates for your website and personalize it the way you want with widget elements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Some footer templates come with predefined content, and other styles are blank. You can add elements to the footer area, in the widgets section.
The footer here on the forum is custom made, an exact replica is not available as a template.
Thanks
Hello,
1) Please check the footer settings in the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/hJ4BwMTLok
2) Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
3) Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/ You can see a list of where each module is used here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
Thank you!
Hello,
If you want to replace the editor picks in the footer, you will have to choose an empty footer style as the predefined content which comes with the first 2 footer styles cannot be removed. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
As for the social icons, unfortunately the sharing icons do not have counters attached. You can see the number of Facebook likes but not the number of shares. The theme has no such option.
Thanks.
So very true. That’s why I asked because I don’t see </footer> here:
WordPress
Appearance | Editor | Under Templates click on Footer | Find the </footer> tag and add your Auto Link Maker code above it | Update File
Thanks
Hello avstu,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand you to what section do you refer to? To this one? -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ts0sg9jH If yes, please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to achieve this element, sorry! Here is talking about a Tabs/Carousel Slider. So, if you want to create something like this, you should install the Revolution Slider because this is a tested plugin with our theme and try to create yourself what kind of slider you want and like, according to plugin’s documentation here -> https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/ Also, as a hint, you can start your project from here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5YAjR7x5gg
Regarding on Footer section, notice that our theme has a big list with a lot of footer templates which can be used from Theme panel, according to our documentation, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thanks for your understanding!
I noticed one thing. Theme options can be saved, but not the defaults.
For example, in the Footer Section, I cannot turn Show Footer to ON, and also cannot save the Footer Templates to Style 1. I can save any other Style for Footer Templates.
The same for Block Settings: I can set any Block Header Template style, EXCEPT Block Header 1 – Default.
Any ideas?
Thanx!
Hello SirSteve,
Check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
