Hello Ednardo Menezes,
Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Bogdan,
I received a response this morning from Alin , here is the response
Hi,
Please try to update the theme again, but please delete first tagdiv plugins that you use. After you update the theme, you can install them from plugins area – https://www.screencast.com/t/dgc7coJ7g
Also please make sure that you clear all your caches and purge your files as I notice you use also CDN service.
If the issue persist please provide also ftp or Cpanel access so we can try to update it. Please make a full backup and disable your CDN service if you provide access.
Thanks!
Alin V.
Now please explain to me Bogdan, why in god’s name am I deleting plug ins in order to update a theme. This is preposterous. So you are telling me that number one selling theme requires users to delete plugins before updating a theme, seriously.
Also I provided my site username and password yet Alin is asking for the same details, which indicates my email was not read at all.
I would also like to see the change log indicating what the update is for. Again, let me reiterate, your customers are running professional businesses and they should not be encountering these sort of issues.
The problem fixed after i reinstall via ftp the theme and one by one the plugins!
Thanks!

Hi,
I SOLVED THE PROBLEM.
First I added the following lines to the “.htaccess” file:
php_value upload_max_filesize 128M
php_value post_max_size 128M
php_value max_execution_time 300
php_value max_input_time 300
php_value memory_limit 256M
I brought all the plugins into a passive state.
I cleaned the Cashes.
I updated the new Newspaper folder on the server via FTP.
I activated all the plugins one by one.
The site started working fine with the new 8.7.3 version.
Thank you very much to the support team for kind help
Regards.
Option 1: WordPress 500 Internal Server Error due to plugins or themes
In many cases. WordPress 500 Internal Server Error occurs when installing or updating plugins or themes. If you know what plugins or themes are causing WordPress errors. You fixed 50% of the error.
Option 2: WordPress 500 Internal Server Error for installing or updating the plugin
If your site is buggy after installation or update. You can fix this by disabling or removing the plugin. Depending on the situation. There are 2 ways to do this.
Disable plugins via WordPress Dashboard.
If your WordPress Dashboard is still accessible. Please follow the steps below:
Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
Plugins> Installed Plugins from the left menu
Install plugins section in WordPress Dashboard
Disable plugin causing errors.
deactivate plugin to debug wordpress internal internal server error
Reload the page to see if the bug is fixed.
If not. Disable other plugins and repeat the process until all plugins are disabled. (or until the site runs again)
Once you’ve found the plugin that caused the error, try removing and reinstalling it. You can find the same plugin or contact the programmer of that plugin. Check out why it’s not compatible with your WordPress.
There are many situations that make dashboard inaccessible. In such a situation. You can cancel or delete the plugins. with File Manager located in hosting or FTP client such as FileZilla.
Navigate to the root of WordPress and go to the wp-content / plugins directory.
Identify the error plugin and rename that directory to disable it.
If your site is broken for installing or updating a new theme. You can handle this by changing your theme. Select any theme and click the Activate button to use it. Now, you will reload your site in the browser and it will reload the theme. This method will fix this. You can try reinstalling your old theme. or contact the theme provider for more information on how to implement it.
Possibly due to lack of memory because PHP values are not enough. It may also be the cause of the error. WordPress 500 internal server error. Because scripts and plugins may require more memory to operate efficiently. Also, when your site loads. The browser also increases the number of requests to load plugins, scripts, and content. When the memory capacity is not enough for the plugin and the script to run. WordPress website will be able to extract 500 Internal Server Error. So to fix this you can increase the memory and other PHP values by editing the .htaccess file.
Here are the lines you should add:
php_value upload_max_filesize 128M
php_value post_max_size 128M
php_value max_execution_time 300
php_value max_input_time 300
php_value memory_limit 256M

Hello greenboxae,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, update all the plugins to the latest version of it, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem persists, try to make a new fresh install to another sub-domain for testing and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!

Hello Demir,
Please make sure that all of your required plugins have been updated to the latest version of them which come bundled with the latest packet. Also, if you have the problem with the Newsletter you should simply replace the old version of it with the latest version of it directly in the file via FTP way, clear all the caches and check theme will work as expected.

Hello Duvher,
1)Please update the theme via FTP way according to our documentation from here ->
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ because this is our recommended and the surest updating way for our theme.
2)Please notice that the problem with Facebook does not come from our theme but only from the Facebook stuff, sorry! Try to generate another Facebook App Key, ensure that key has been approved by the Facebook and it’s valid and clear all the caches and check the results. For more references to this problem, please check the following topics from here -> https://developers.facebook.com/status/issues/205942813488872 https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49417886/why-does-facebook-graph-api-say-my-account-is-non-active?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=google_rich_qa&utm_campaign=google_rich_qa – https://www.nop-templates.com/boards/topic/3388/facebook-integration-locked-due-to-recent-press-privacy-concerns
3)Sorry but I do not exactly understand what you want to achieve. So, if you need to disable the comments count you should disable it from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/GZ9NBxiFI -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Qjfz65wwh2p
If is not what you mean, provide more details.
Thanks.

Hello Alex89,
Try using the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS Area.
The code is ->
.block-title span{
background-color:#399998;
}
This is a quick fix. Also, I suggest you reinstall the theme via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks.
Hello flynewsgr,
It seems to be so strange, sorry! Please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it. Make sure that your theme has been fully installed via FTP way, all the caches have been cleared, purge CDN files and check the results.

Hello jmedina0107,

Hello architecture,
There’s no needed to renamed anything. You should simply download the latest theme version from Theme Forest and install it via FTP to your server. Before doing this you should make a full backup to avoid losing all of your data. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thanks for your understanding!
Yes. Thank you ds-2. That fix worked for me too! I logged into FTP and deleted the td-Newsletter plugin. Site is live again.
Ever since 8.7 has been released, any attempt to upgrade (with 8.7.1, 8.7.2 and now 8.7.3) has always resulted in a blank admin screen after the upgrade. I have a very simple setup and even have tested with nothing but the Newspaper theme itself. Still happens.
I’ve tried to delete TD composer first (deactivate/delete), used the FTP method to upgrade, etc. Nothing has worked.
I am a long time (several years now) Newspaper users and this has been the worst upgrade I’ve ever come across. Hoping this is fixed soon. Assuming it’s an issue with TD Composer.
See this guide here https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (FTP is the recommended way to avoid any errors).
