Please try to update the theme to the latest version of it ->Newspaper 7.2, Visual Composer 4.12 and Social Counter 4.1. Do this update using the FTP method, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ First of all, please make a full backup for all your data to rule out the way to lose your data.

i try something, i copy from new theme zip core folder tp_api_plugin via ftp and after i enabled in admin area, admin area die, http 500 error. I delete from plugin folder and admin area come back but same, error!
I updateing via ftp after and same problem, site is worken mutch problem and admin panel is die.
I send you the src.
and now theme version same 2.3.7 but in the menu come the instagram…. What is problem?

@razakey, it’s very simple do the below steps hopefully works for you aswell:
1- Download fresh copy of the theme from Themeforest
2- Upload the theme using FTP and Extract it!
3- Now from WordPress activate the theme
4- Go to Plugins Deactivate “WPBakery Visual Composer” then Delete!
5- Extract your freshly downloaded theme file and look for js_composer.zip under > Newspaper\includes\plugins
6- Back to WordPress > Add Plugin > Upload > js_composer.zip
7- Activate the plugin and that’s it!
Your are DONE!
That’s how it works for me!

Please ensure that you have fully downloaded the latest packet from Theme Forest and also, please ensure that you have right updated your theme. Please try to make a new install from scratch with the latest version of the theme using the FTP method because this is the surest method in this regard. I suspect your problem com from inadequate installation. Please try the above steps, clear all your caches and test it again and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
Maybe something went wrong when installing the theme or when creating a child theme. If you use a child theme please revert to the main theme or if the main theme provides this error as well, then try to re-install it by using this method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

i downloaded the newapaper.zip and uploaded throught ftp
just downloaded the js_composer from the plugins folder and the js_composer.php says version 4.12
Yes, I bought your theme a few days ago and I use it all the same. Now I installed in another instance from scratch and it only has plugins you recommended from the installation instruction here https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/.
Still the first menu “specialities” now does not pop up at all when using iphone. Please advise what i can do to help you trouble-shoot it.

Unfortunately this seems to be a hosting issue, not a theme related issue. I;m sure it’s not just the theme you have problems uploading. Please contact the host and let theme know of your problem with their hosting service.
As an alternative, you could try to install the theme via wordpress: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/ or if this is the method you try then try ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

You will have to update the theme to the latest version of it which you found on the Theme Forest after you will log-in into your account. You will have to logged-in to your account from Theme Forest and from there you will have to download the latest version of the theme which is Newspaper 7.2. With this latest packet, you will bring all the required plugins which are updated to the latest version of them…Visual Composer 4.12 and Social Counter 4.1. Please do your update using the FTP method because this is the surest one in this regard. We are unable to install the video demo, even after a fresh theme install via FTP.
This is the message we keep getting while it’s trying to install:
tagDiv importer detected an error. The importer will try to recover and continue to install the demo after you click ok on this dialog.
Steps to troubleshoot:
– Check the permissions on your upload folder
– Please make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.php
– Contact our support via email contact@tagdiv.com (please provide your product license key)
