@Steven Thanks for the advice, I will visit the speedbooster forum.
One question for you left, what is the best way to find out which JS and CSS files are used in a specific part of the theme (for instance the header menu)

Google has only been doing “responsive” ads for a very short time (2014), so they are still figuring out how to make them work better on different layouts. One would presume a text box could resize, but since they never know the “layout” they cannot safely set 100% widths to some spaces, hence why you often still need to set a “hint size area” …
I think they are only responsive in the sense that they are not fixed sized graphics, but they are not responsive in the same way that one expects.
I went through that earlier this year, and went oooooohhhhh….. okay. Makes sense once you get the limitations of their ability to guess the layout space đ
Aaahh! Now I see.
Thanks.
If you use the responsive ad code from Google for your AdSense ads they will be responsive. Meaning, a different size ad will be loaded depending on viewport. Ads do *not* resize on the fly; meaning, if you shrink the browser viewport, the ad does not reload to new size as Google doesn’t allow ad “reloads.”
Hello,
I’m wondering why the adsense ad in the header is not responsive?
I took the responsive ad code and pasted it into the ad section under them panel.
The DISABLE ON DESKTOP and other devices is deactivated.
AdSense size is on auto.
So where is the problem?
Thank you in advance,
Mr. Arias
Thanks a lot christopher. I edited the file but instead of created a dropdown its creating links separately. Here what i did.
echo '<ul class="top-header-menu td_ul_logout">
<li class="menu-item">
<a href="#" class="td_user_logd_in">' . $current_user->display_name . '</a>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://domain.com/dashboard/">Dashboard</a></li>
<li><a href="http://domain.com/profile/">Profile</a></li>
<li><a href="http://domain.com/add-new/">Add New</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
You can also please check the output in the pic below.
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0783d2rp48
Any thoughts on how to correct the issue. Thanks a lot.
Likely you will need to locate the file which has the login widget code and edit it to put in generic links on that dropdown, or add query if the links are unique to each user.
If you look in your theme folder, under includes > widgets > td_login_widget.php
you would likely add the links there.
e.g.,
echo '<ul class="top-header-menu td_ul_logout">
<li class="menu-item">
<a href="#" class="td_user_logd_in">' . $current_user->display_name . '</a>
</li>
<li class="menu-item">
<span class="td-sp td-sp-ico-logout"></span>
<a href="' . wp_logout_url(home_url()) . '">' . __td("Logout") . '</a>' .
get_avatar($current_user->ID, 20) .
'</li>
</ul>';
Always good to “explore” the files and folders for the theme to look at what is there, as this is often the starting point for any special customizations not built into the theme itself. Most of the stuff “included” onto pages/posts that are not main templates are found in the /includes/ folder.
Hope that helped! đ
Now that it’s fixed and infront of the header in mobile, its squished. My header logo is 1114px in width. It’s not using the mobile one that I uploaded. It currently looks like this: http://screencast.com/t/wNIXiq50ysb
Hello,
I am still running into the problem with the homepage appearance with the window is resized. I just added an 768×90 image as an Header Ad per your example in the help files. The problem that occurs is that the image disappears when the width of the browser window is reduced. I would really like to just fix the size of the page to eliminate this issues. Also, I do not anticipate the requirement for our website to be compatible with smart phones (if this has any impact on the problem).
Thanks!
When i post with options:
full-width and no sidebar
=> http://www.screencast.com/t/S4Q8d50t
when view that post then title of post on header
=> http://www.screencast.com/t/zOJaX3yuI1
please help me, how to resole this problem?
best regards,
Hi,
Please use this css:
.menu-primary-menu-container .sf-menu > li > a {
line-height: 20px;
}
.td-menu-placeholder .td-menu-background .td-menu-wrap {
height: 20px;
}
.td-menu-wrap .header-search-wrap #search-button .td-sp-ico-search {
top: -2px;
}
Should work like this: http://screencast.com/t/F9jWunuJujbp
Thanks
I’ve installed the speed booster plugin and noticed a huge speed improvement. Like you advised, i add the 4 .js files in the exceptions.
To not break any slide are the menu on mobile please add these files in the
Exceptions (files to ignore and load in render-blocking way) box to the bottomjquery.min.js
external.min.js
site.min.js
js_composer_front.js
The problem is that there are some problems:
1. The header menu is not sticky and the pull down columns are to small
2. There are no header image visible at theme 4 (other templates are ok)
Did i miss a file to exclude?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
a. The logo when using the classic blog version it’s already centered http://screencast.com/t/QVtWVWE4fYX just use the header style designed for the blog like this: http://screencast.com/t/KgwEpN8VEl1
b. I haven’t used that plugin, should check the plugin support page for a way to implement the short URLs and then go to td_module_blog.php file and replace the function which gets the permalinks with your own short URLs generator http://screencast.com/t/fGNUAvyPw2
Try using the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin, then you can set the description for your each post from edit post panel.
c. I believe you are referring at this prev/next article feature which you can enable from theme panel > posts settings http://screencast.com/t/Rj847twYFAGr
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hello,
Installed the theme (in classic blog version) and love it but have a few questions:
a) Is it possible to make the header logo centred on the page
b) I have installed Shortn.It (http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/shortnit) and have set it up but is there a way of when clicking the twitter or Facebook at the bottom of the page to show the shortened url. At the moment it shows as (using the demo as an example) Asus Xonar U7 sound card has a built-in Headphone Amp http://seeasa.com/?p=53 via @seeasa (is there a way of changing it to show my custom url and make it Asus Xonar U7 sound card has a built-in Headphone Amp http://see.je/abcde via @seeasa. Also clicking on Facebook it only gives the blog logo and address and no information on the story being shared.
c) In the demo classic blog layout demo when you click an article it shows before and next but can’t find there that is in the theme settings to activate
d) How do I give different categories different colours?
Many Thanks in advance
Hi,
Regarding your first issue you can target the username using this .td_user_logd_in class and enlarge the container via css.
You could also try this solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/top-header-login-widget-problem/#post-15488
Regarding the VC buttons we have this issue on out todo list and still working on it and we will try to fix this in the next theme updates, until then you could try to use the these buttons http://screencast.com/t/wYiWVWSU3 or find a plugin that dose what you need.
Thanks for the message
I am still having some issues with the top header menu. If a WP user is logged in the login name wraps below and there is overlap. I currently do not need the WP login, but may want it in the future. I want to keep the 3 menu options right justified. I would I either disable the Login Icon or fix it so it does not wrap to multiple lines.
Works! Thanks! Solved.
Hi,
Please try this css:
.home .td-big-slide-background .td_block_big_grid {
display: none;
}
Should work fine now: http://screencast.com/t/xe0i4n77z6Mm
Thanks
Hi ,
Quick Adsense isn’t an option for me because I use the header ad spot.
I need to remove the header ad on all pages (not posts). Quick adsense doesn’t have an option to disable ads on pages.
Do you know a code that will work with removing the header ad from pages?
Hi, Lucian!
Doesn’t really help. đ

I tried regenerating thumbnails, no luck. Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about CDN cache that has been mentioned somewhere before.
Hi,
Use this custom css in theme panel custom css field to hide it:
#td_uid_1_53f1f76d2307f {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi,
I have added this on our issue list and we will try to fix this in the next update. As for the re-size issue make sure you refresh the page after you reduce the window size when you check if it’s responsive.
Sorry about this!
Thanks for the message!
Hi!
I see, it kinda works, but now I have 2 big slide’s on my homepage. I’d like to have only one, below the picture itself. Any way to remove big slide from the top?
Hi,
1. You can use the “Homepage – bg – no article list” page template for your Homepage http://screencast.com/t/VTFrs9KuFE
2. You can change the height by adding this custom css into the custom css field in theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/ZfVVn090
.td-big-slide-background, body.single_template_4 #td-full-screen-header-image, .backstretch {
height: 1000px !important;
}
Change the image height as you like.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Ok I tried it again
this is how it looks like:
-play button is there.
– but still no thumbnail of the video. (just white blank field)
Post type: Video
Featured Video: inserted link
Any Idea why this is not showing?
Thanks in advance for the hint!
