I have added google analytics code in the ads section. But that is for the header and below articles.

I checked now, and the header and footer are the same for desktop and mobile.

Hi, I’m getting two menus, one on the homepage and a different on on the sub-pages.

I tested the upgrade to newspaper 12.2 but it broke the display of our site’s logo – it hard coded the width of the logo in pixels in the img tag in the new version, where this didn’t happen before. I had to revert to 12.1.1 to fix it.
I also tried to use a Child Theme as described in the documentation to override the parts/header/logo-h1.php, but it I could not get it to override in the child theme successfully. I copied the file from the td-standard-pack location to themes/Newspaper-child/parts/header/logo-h1.php but it refused to override.
Any suggestions on how to fix either of these issues?

I am having a problem editing the header and footers to match my desktop version to the mobile versions.
The WooCommerce product pages will not match up at all and I am not sure how to edit those. The WooCommerce product pages do not have a tagDivComposer edit option.
Also, none of the page’s headers and footers match the desktop version or mobile version when I rotate the phone from vertical to horizontal. It changes to an old version of the footer that I deleted. The image has even been deleted from my media files.
I have deleted the cache AND turned off caching while I try to correct this.
I am using the Newspaper Default Pro template.

Can’t get the header working. “Header Template 38 – Nomad” is selected… It used to work simple: uploaded my logos (generic + retina) and it worked… now I can’t figure out what I’m doing as the logos are still selected in “Theme Panel” -> “Header” -> “Logo & Favicon” section, but the cloud library is overwriting them maybe? I don’t know…
Hi, we have been on the NEWSpaper theme on 3 websites for 7 years now, and we just remade the header and footer for our first website http://www.gadgetbridge.com. As we were on the old system of creating headers via the NewsPaper theme panel. We moved to the new recommended one with TagDiv header and footer composer.
However, after we created those. The website CCS breaks when you open it at first for 2 seconds and then it comes back together.

We are not facing this problem on our other website http://www.motorbridge.com
We are using the same plugins and the same settings on both websites. But style breaks on Gadget Bridge but not on Motor Bridge.

I tired searching the forums but didn’t see anything so forgive me if this has already been posted.
I want the menu to be sticky only when scrolling back UP on the site and NOT be sticky when scrolling down normally. I don’t see an option for this in any settings. I am using a Cloud Template for the header if this helps in answering the question.

Hello, we need to implement one of the following solutions:
1- Change the hiperlink of Header Login element to woo account page
2- Make an extraclass for woo account login where we set to hidden the subscrition account menu. Which code can we use to achive that?
We need that modification because we are not using the optin plugin for subscritions and we need to redirect our customers to woo account page. As woocommerce clients makes no sense to display them an author page.

Tagdiv composer > Add element > Menu login > Custom pages tab
4 out of the 5 “custom pages” entries defined in this tab are actually displayed in the login menu. If 4 entries are defined, then only 3 entries are displayed… weird. All pages are valid and there is no duplicate entry.
It seems that the culprit is the 3rd place… any entry placed in the 3rd place (out of 5 custom pages) doesn’t show on the menu.
Could you fix this ?

The problem is that are used two separate elements for login/register.
So, if you want the menu login element, you need to disable the Sign in/join from Theme Panel -> Header -> https://i.imgur.com/YwttygP.png and set the element where in the header mobile.

Thanks for reply but please carefully read my request i told in above I accidentally put wrong Google Site Verification meta tag using rankmath plugin and this wrong meta tag is currently visible in my home page header option I already replace this wrong meta tag to correct one using the same plugin rankmath and it is also updated in the rankmath webmaster tools (input meta tag option) but still not updated on my homepage header because my home page is still showing wrong meta tag code when i use source code option to check that.
Now currently my rankmath plugin have right meta tag code but my home page header have wrong meta tag code so first i want to delete this wrong meta tag code from my homepage header and want to replace it with the right meta tag code in my homepage header
And i cant do this using any plugin like rankmath because i already tried and failed so please tell me how can i replace my wrong google site verification code to right one

You have this block set in the footer section; please delete it with right-click or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.

– logout from the tagdiv header login menu

Hello NP, I have updated the main menu using the ‘Default Pro’ prebuilt module and set it as “Global’ but the changes are applying only to the homepage and not to any others pages on the site. See http://www.shoppingflyers.ca.
This is even though across categories it says that it is inheriting the header from ‘Default Pro Global’. Basically it should be the updated header that shows up. What is wrong?
I cannot try to edit these headers one by one as I plan to have many categories and it simply does not make sense.
What is wrong? Please help.

I was experiencing the same issue and found a solution after monitoring the browser’s console and making changes to my webserver’s configuration.
The following error appeared whenever I went to edit a page with the tagDiv Composer:
Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
I decided to look at the browser’s console while the tagDiv composer page was loaded to see if I could find out what was causing the problem. I saw the following error in the console:
The loading of “https://www.mywebsite.com/tdb_templates/404-template-week-pro/?td_action=tdc_edit&post_id=89&tdbTemplateType=404” in a frame is denied by “X-Frame-Options“ directive set to “DENY“.
Apparently the tagdiv editor uses an xframe and my webserver (Nginx) was configured to deny all xframes. After visiting https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/X-Frame-Options and following the instructions I was able to get the editor working.
The specific configuration line in NGINX’s server configuration that was causing the problem was:
add_header X-Frame-Options “DENY”;
I deleted this line and replaced it with:
add_header X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN always;
After doing this I restarted NGINX and the tagdiv editor proceeded to work as normal.

Plugin Based Tweaks Worth Mentioning
1. Ad Inserter
Newspaper mobile does not provide extended in-article ads. This is why I switched to Ad-inserter to apply rules to mobile and desktop versions. Works like a charm.
4. Converter for Media
Free webP conversion recommended by Google. Lightweight and also converts your previously uploaded files to webP as well.
6. Formidable Forms Pro- Paid
I bought this to have a quiz and calculator. To be honest, I spent more than 30 hours but still could not learn the conditional tags and essential formatting. Regardless, this is broken on the mobile theme plugin and has a drastic speed impact on the page. Definitely not recommended.
8. Jetpack
I am still to figure out what is the role of Jetpack in SEO and speed. Anyways, I have kept it to not destroy my existing SEO.
11. Regenerate thumbnails
I would recommend regenerating all thumbnails at a time when your visitors are not active on the website. It has some memory usage and should be done in a free environment.
MOST IMPORTANT
I browsed through forums to find that TD Standard Pack is not an essential plugin if you know how to develop your theme properly using TD Composer.
I was already using pre-installed templates. So, I simply deactivated the plugin to check if any pages were broken. Since there were none, I deleted the plugin.
It has huge speed impact and I definitely recommend creating your own templates rather than relying on the easy way out. Additionally, I would recommend you start with a pre-built website, and start editing the following Cloud Templates:
14. tagDIV Mobile Theme
If you have to choose performance over quality, I’d recommend quickly installing this plugin. It is tempting to give your users a wonderful experience, but at what cost? Reduced speed only drops your visitors from search engines. Most of us are bloggers, meaning we rely on Google and Bing for our visitors (in long term). I’d recommend using it without caring for those beautiful blocks or glittering images.
16. Wordfence Security
If you are on a shared hosting like me and using Wordfence, I would suggest you enable performance tweaks.
17. WP Rocket
I used AutoOptimize and various other plugins to speedily my website. I did achieve results, but the “remove unused CSS” is beyond my scope. It requires hours of finding the CSS and deleting them. Even if you understand what I am saying, you are still bound to make mistakes.
I switched to WP Rocket a few months back. It cost me 59 USD for a year. What did I get? Here are tweaks that I was not able to achieve previously (the rest all can be achieved with free plugins):
18. WpDiscuz
The CSS files are annoying and I believe minifying CSS and loading
wpDiscuz> Settings> General Settings> Enable Use WordPress native AJAX functions and Minify JS and CSS Files to Optimize Page Loading Speed.
If you have not installed it yet, I highly recommend you don’t get lured by it. Stick to traditional Comments from WordPress itself. They won’t cost you any speed damage.
Cloudfare Optimizations
I would not go much into detail about this. But I will summarize what I have done:
1. Optimization Tab- Tick marked all options except AMP URL and Rocket Loader (only if you are using WP Rocket because it will break your search button and menu on mobile with a Newspaper theme).
2. Caching- Tickmarked all except Always Online and Development mode.
3. Rules- I have set two rules which make Cloudfare cache all contents on my website except my admin panel. You can set them using the following image, make sure you replace your website name with www or without www (and no HTTP or HTTPS) and in THE ORDER THEY ARE (ByPass at 1st, Cache everything at 2nd).
