I’m using the tagdiv composer to edit my header template.
I’d like to change the background color and opacity of the header zone, and the sticky header zone.

Hi Guys,
I’ve created tables of contents in my blog posts what contain jump links (like wikipedia)
Example: https://www.gardenseeker.com/plants/shrubs/buddleia/
The targets for the jump links are h2 and h3 headers.
However, when you click on the jump links, the page jumps past the h2 or h3 which is obscured by the menu.
Is there a way to fix this so the relevant header is visible and doesn’t confuse my visitors when they click on the jump links?

Iam trying to load a custom header ad to the top of this page, but since i couldn’t figure out how to remove the ad location used theme as a global location header i ended up just hiding it via CSS, which i guess is no big deal if thats what i had to do, however, what i want to avoid is the bouncing around when the page loads.

Hi Catalin, after using my custom page footer template for a while, I figured out that this is causing some trouble. If I use third-party plugins e.g. for social sharing or for generating a table of content, these plugins (and others using a system to automatically insert content along with posts) will show their content again within the footer. E.g. Social Sharing on the bottom of each page, an additional table of content on the bottom of each page, etc.
Somehow the footer triggers them to add the elements again (although these plugins are set to appear not along pages but only along posts). It would be great if the footers could be somehow solved like headers not to be a page.
Does Mobile plugin using CloudFront special headers like CloudFront-Is-Desktop-Viewer CloudFront-Is-Mobile-Viewer CloudFront-Is-Tablet-Viewer?

“Text Logo” color and font can’t be changed. I’m currently using Header Style 10. Do you have a fix for this? Thanks!

The option for bar works only for default header but now in Newspaper v9.5 and v9.6 you can create header for your website, so you can create the top bar too -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1idxAIxaNCqR all you need to do is to add a new row and add on it the background color and the elements that you need in it.

Hi,
If you want to have a global header you’ll need to set it in theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dnHozn7zH and all pages/categories/posts that do not have set an individual header will have that header set.
For individual header you’ll need to edit that page/post template/category template… and set in it the header that you want, and on this posts/categories templates or page will be set that header ( the individual will override the global header for that post/page ).

Hi. Yes, thats the issue that I am facing, only my header and footer is full-width. I am having trouble stretching the “content” section of the homepage. In the screenshot that I sent, the rows were already set to “Stretch row and content.” for both the header and content.
So just to clarify, I should install “full-width” templates from the cloud library as a work around?
I am currently still trying to work on the homepage, before even going on to the post templates or other pages.
This is true. The pages come back with a “Valid with warning” message from Google, so it’s probably not an issue.
I did try and they showed up as blank spots except for the Google ads, but I can certainly try again. A couple of them require header and footer codes to be added, so do I use the header-amp.php and footer-amp.php in themes/Newspaper/mobile?

So if I’m right you want the width/stretch of row, if so then the simplest way to achieve this will be to create or import a full width templates from the cloud library plugin. There is no one single button push. You have to import a post style and set it as the default post template in the theme panel post settings, then you need to import a category template that is full width and set that one as the default category template. The same for tags, author pages etc:

If you want to add the Hero section in the header template, for mobile, you need to add again that element from the panel and after this save it -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qUnsvDs4VX The mobile section is different then the rest of section and for this, you need to add again that element or another one. That’s the theme’s functionality.
