On this link that you sent- https://www.screencast.com/t/b6iVdsbpxc
you can see the text is touching the border on the left. If i’d like the text to start slightly further to the right and not touch the border would i use something like
body
{
margin: 2;
padding: 0;
?
it is already set to
text-align: center;
Also, is there a way to align header 2 so it is central within one of the smart list boxes?
Hello,
Can you help me to find where this code is located in order to cancel it? It triggers only on mobile device and shows an advertising 320x100px sitewide. It seems inside tha <body> and <header> but I can’t find wher it is. It’s not in Theme panel—> ADS or in header.php, etc.
This is the code:
<div id=”eadv_pos_7_f266282e8212cb442d88b92eda347b96″ style=”width: 320px; height: 100px !important;” class=”eadv-docked eadv-docked-bottom”><iframe id=”eadv_iframe_i16366_f7_f266282e8212cb442d88b92eda347b96″ style=”width:320px !important;height:100px !important;border:0px none;” scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ marginheight=”0″ sandbox=”allow-forms allow-pointer-lock allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox” srcdoc=”<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><title>eADV</title><meta charset=&quot;utf-8" /><style>body{height:auto !important;text-align:center;margin:0;}</style></head><body><script type="text/javascript">var eadv_pbnf = ‘1’;</script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://delivery1.eadv.it/delivery.php?c=12&f=7&vc=99077f0660a78&id=16366&url=ilfattodicalabria.it&m=iframe&pare=0g784g909e4g1509873310905&cv=&dv=x:414|y:736|ww:414|wh:736|flash:0|position:docked|connection:unknown|protocol:http&si=1467&rc=f266282e8212cb442d88b92eda347b96&m=js"></script></body></html>”></iframe></div>
I inserted in my website a few code for display advertising. I copied code from the Ad network and I inserted it in sectione Theme panel –> ADS. In this section there are 4 code that I can modify or cancel without problems.
The problem is the code above because I can’t find where it is and of course I’m not able to cancel it from my website. I hope you can help me.
Thanks,
Michele
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_header() in index.php:6

I have error_log in template folder full of this error, can anyone help me to fix it?
Thanks
Or, alternatively, how can I remove completely the header section?
Hello, I am using style 11 of the Newspaper theme. However, the height of the logo area (where the site title is displayed in text) is too big (too much white space), and I would like to make it smaller, such that all content from below moves up accordingly. Please help me with some advice on what kind of custom CSS I might use to achieve this.
In CSS terms, I see that classes td-header-sp-logo or td-banner-wrap-full are responsible for styling this area. I have tried to adjust the height with custom CSS, but with no effect. Please advise.
I’m using the sound radar demo and am looking to change the default ‘black divider bar’ right underneath the header menu, how would I go about doing this?
What I’m looking to accomplish has been done on https://www.edmsauce.com/
Thank you in advance for any help given! ♥
I m talking about just switching element for languages (or anything).
Ok, for Top Bar i managed to implement <?php stl_show_selector('oneline', '/', 'ћирилица', 'латиница') ?> by editing header header-style-1.php (since i m using that one).
But trick is, that i ‘ve seen only when i implemented it, that it wont be visible on mobile, as Top Bar isn’t visible for mobiles.
So, i m trying now to edit header-menu.php and put that line, but i m not sure where it would be good to place it in code (as i m not programmer).
My question is – where to put that line in code of header-menu.php so result would be that switch between menu items and search on the right at desktop, and between logo and search on mobile. Therefore in both cases, just left from search. If not possible, then in all cases far right, after search.
Thanks.

Hi,
There are options to display the normal header logo or the mobile logo, when the menu is sticky. This setting is in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yM7MNOb1EIU
So you can either show the default website logo, or the logo used on mobile.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems that for some reason the post title header is not working as intended. The responsive condition is not applying. Please enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section and it should fix the situation
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VVtaIMBq
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-post-template-6 .td-post-header {
width: 100%;
}}
Thanks
Thanks.
What i ment to ask, connected to starting question is: all those multilanguage plugins have some icon/field/whatever which user can click and switch to other language.
Is there a way to insert same thing in Newspaper theme anywhere in top bar, header or main menu line, just to be obvious for visitor?
Namely, as author wrote, i would need:
To use this function just call it from place where you need code to be inserted, like:
<?php stl_show_selector('oneline', '/', 'ћирилица', 'латиница') ?>
Is it possible insert this line or similar to above mentioned elements of the page (header etc)?
Hello Madison,
Sorry but our theme does not feature such a layout for the moment. We are working on adding cool new features to the tagdiv composer so in the near future, there will be a possibility to create such headers but for the moment, we cannot provide a solution.
Thank you!
Hi,
There will have to be a header, to display the website logo and navigation menu. The header cannot be disabled.
The logo can be changed in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
The demo you have installed uses header style 11, this header style does not have a limit for the logo size. You can use any image size as logo.
You will have to create your own menu, based on your own categories for posts. Here is more information about creating the menu, and also the mega-menu option
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
The revolution slider can be configured to display posts from the categories you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
So after setting the header and revolution slider as needed, you can go ahead and choose which block type, grid or full grid you want on the homepage. You can view them all as I mentioned in the live demo (Features menu).
First please check this tagDiv composer tutorial
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Blocks have many configuration settings, this is a guide where each is explained
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Modules that form blocks and grids will display the post title, additional post meta, and excerpt. The meta information can be disabled if you wish
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DF872Ac2sR
Excerpt length can be controlled as well – https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
When the module is clicked you will be directed to the post page, that is the intended functionality.
The baby blog demo consists of the revolution slider on top, then a latest articles section with a sidebar. The latest articles section is automatically added when the required page template is selected. More about it here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Posts will have to be created and published. Edit published posts and modify them if you wish. The tagDiv composer cannot be used to edit posts, it is a page editor.
Please correct me if I misunderstood something, and let us know if you need further help.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems the ad is loading but it is not displayed. Please enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section, the ad should be visible on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2yPULXvwr
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-rec-wrap {
display:block;
}}
Thanks
Hi Simion,
Thank you so much for this – I forgot to mention sorry I’m using the baby blog demo which I’m loving – it’s clinical like I wanted.
What I’m struggling to work out how to do (or find which of the elements it actually is) is have it set up how i’m trying to. For instance I’d like my home page for the moment to literally be no header, my logo, the rev slider, then two blocks for the content etc, the instagram below it, then the footer.
I was hoping that when you’re actually looking at the home page, it stays neat and almost at a glance so the two blocks will have their respective images on them with only one short paragraph underneath so the page doesn’t start looking busy or have two much content to scroll down. Once you then click the image/paragraph you’re then ‘taken’ to the content instead of it being on the homepage if that all makes sense?
It’s currently set up using big grid 4 I think so I’d managed to get the two images on there when I placed them from the elements menu, but once I started editing it, when I preview it it’s all on the actual home page rather than behind the image in the block as I’d hoped. Have I selected the wrong element?
I’m sorry for such basic questions! I have to say I’m also struggling to work out where’s the best place to edit the actual posts. It seems that you select the elements and layout from the TagDiv composer and then go into my wordpress admin page to actually edit the content – is this correct please? If in the TD composer page the blocks look how i want them to. If i go into the WP admin page and then save and preview after the text and images are altered it looks entirely different and is all on the home page as i mentioned above?
Website is GolfCartResource.com. We use the plugin Ads Pro from CodeCanyon utilizing their shortcodes for the ad spaces. We’re having issues with the Header Ad not appearing on Mobile. It works great on Desktop, however. FYI we add the Ads Pro shortcode into the Header Ad Space under Ads in the Newspaper Theme Panel. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
By default h3 have:
font-size: 22px
line-height: 30px
color: #111
Do the same settings for h2:

As a hint: you can see one or another header using the browser’s Inspector: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

OK, I have managed to come up with something. I noticed that the AdSense script set “display: none” for itself, so I figured that the problem might be with AdSense after all.
Then I modified the responsive unit’s code by specifying expandable width and min-height, per instructions described here: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6307124
And it worked!
I’ll keep looking into this to see if it works everywhere and in all situations, but it’s a decent first step for now.
NOTE: I used the following settings for the header ad:
style="display:block;min-width:320px;max-width:768px;width:100%;min-height:90px"
You’ll of course probably want to modify the numbers for your needs. Fiddle around with it.
Hi,
As you’ve poss gathered I’m a total novice. I’ve worked a few things out for my home page but I’d like to add two boxes to the front page that will simply be used almost in lieue of pages in the header bar until I have more content for my site. I’d like to have an image with an intro paragraph underneath it and then you click it and it brings up the info to follow on. Any methods or blocks etc I’ve seen all seem to be on a blog basis with ‘bits’ of info all over it ie date posted, author etc and I’d simply like a clean post as my site is quite minimalist plus this is irrelevant info as it isn’t a blog.
Any help would be gratefully received thank you as I’m not finding this very obvious and I thought I had a brain cell!
Hi,
You can access the theme files on the server by FTP for example
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-to-wordpress-file-and-directory-structure/
Changes made to the files inside the header folder can be made through a child theme, if you have one
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thanks
Hi,
The individual settings for each block should apply after you remove that code in the demo stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IqGCx3cw3q
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AwdGKUDHU
These individual settings should override the general header color set by the demo here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/j7KgXmfw3sEo
Try clearing that color in the theme color settings, edit the page with the composer and set the desired colors for the text
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YEDjyGDIGo4
The font properties for the block titles can be customized in the theme panel, there you can modify the font weight imported by the demo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/r9ApeCYsjU
Please let us know if there are further issues, or you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello tagdivchick,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any kind of setting and if you want to do this, you should do it in the code because this is the only possibility. Check the Header Styles from the theme and try to create another one to be similar to it and then, integrate it in the theme. So, if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
You could set a padding for the header menu, so when it is sticky there will be space for the flags to display. Something like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vzuYchl3P
.td-header-style-9 .td-header-menu-wrap.td-affix .td-header-main-menu {
padding-top: 24px;
}
Thanks
Hi,
i have two questions:
1. Top bar
Is it possible put in top bar custom code or widget. Namely i need to install plugin to switch between cirylic and latin letters. By default its widget, but author provided code for implementing various options for that plugin.
If not possible in Top Bar, can it be put in header or Main menu maybe? What you suggest?
2. Main menu
Is it possible to have submenu items of Main menu items in horizontal second line, just under the Main Menu?
best regards,
Bojan
I have an issue with the Newspaper Theme that was working fine yesterday on http://www.snowsbest.com but has issues today.
When I go through dashboard to view live blog posts my WP dashboard edit menu comes up in the header.
However if I go to the home page it doesn’t and as a result I cannot access TagDiv Composer to make home page layout changes.
Any idea how to solve this please?
Fantastic, Catalin. Where do I go to add the large homepage header image?
Thanks again for the amazing support.
