This issue seems to be connected to the new version of wp and the htaccess file as this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-broken-after-update/

Please try to check your htaccess or disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Also if you use PHP 7, please note that this is not yet tested with our theme so it could provide a few errors. if this is the case, please revert to PHP 6.

I’ve made the theme update overall (thanks to you and your team)
However, I don’t want to change the overall layout to the mobile theme.
I wish to move the navicon and search/social icons to the very top above the main header image. Instead of it formatting to below when in mobile.

Whenever I try to edit the Home Page, I get a blank screen. The page does get updated, but I do not go back to the Edit Page after updates. I am pasting a dropbox link to video of the error.

Just installed NewsMag & Visual Composer last night, so I’m using the latest versions. My frustration is that when I follow your step-by-step instructions, something else happens.. i.e., I selected & saved header style #10, but the page shows a logo up at the top. The lite version worked fine, but I was looking forward to the additional capabilities of the paid version, but the plan seems to have gone awry. Since installing, my old settings are gone, re-buildng isn’t working well for me, and apparently, my page is being redirected. Is there a bug in the system? A little help here, please? Pretty please?

at the Moment you are only able to choose one logo in the header section, what act as a company logo on all sites. It would be great, to change or select a different logo on some sites so that these sites are acting as “sub-websites”, that need an own logo.

I changed the header template and the issue resolved. However the issue will be back if I change back to the previous header template.

When using Newspaper 7.01 with the latest version of Internet Explorer 11 (on Windows 10) I’m getting a very strange visual error. My site isn’t live yet, so I’ve created a small video for you to see for yourselves (linked below).

Basically, every time the page loads, it appears that the mobile menu is trying to open – and it flashes across the header section, travelling right to left. Happens on every page load. Doesn’t matter what page is opened.
I’ve tried uninstalling all plugins (leaving only the ones you recommend) but this hasn’t fixed it. I’ve also removed any custom CSS, cleared caches, etc., all without success. I’m not running the mobile theme, just your inbuilt responsive menu in version 7. I also don’t use Visual Composer, so I know that’s not the cause. The site works fine on all other browsers.
Have you seen anything like this before in IE? Any suggestions? Is there any way I can override the mobile menu loading initially? If you think this is the cause? Have been trying to fix for awhile now and am completely stumped!
Any help appreciated. I can send you admin access if you need a closer look. I’m hoping it’s something you’ve seen before.

As I follow the instructions, my website doesn’t look at all the way it appears in the look of the demo. My header couldn’t look more different, for some reason, all my columns are listed on the header, and I expected to see a brief preview of each article, not the full text on the home page.. What is happening here? What am I doing wrong?

The system information says: the header of the mobile theme plugin is incorrect, and the download of plugin failed (or be forbiddened). I did not change any setup before I installed the mobile theme plugin, but it just did not work.I really want to try the new function, so help me fix this:)

Question: for one of our pages, we want to have a transparent background image that is positioned between header and footer. With between header and footer I mean image starts below top menu and ends before the dark grey bottom part of our page: https://www.lettogsunn.no/bestill-clorogen-na. It works once I added the code in the mobile/header.php template.
Also people, if you are using a Google Tag Manager plugin don’t forget to add the code in as well, otherwise no mobile traffic will show in analytics.

I can only repeat myself, your Newspaper theme is incredibly complete and cleanly coded.
However, during my work I am always surprised that I feel that one particular look for a category is missing, that I feel should be there.
So here is an idea: Why don’t you create a variation of category template 6. I call it 6.a where the image does not cover the whole background, but is only inside/behind

I think that would be a awesome addition to your theme, a great new look and should be easy for you to get done quickly.

The Effect
1. Chrome Mobil: If I scroll down > than up to the top > and pull, than the logo is viewing half or I´ll see a black background, sometimes the bug destroy complete the position of the logo and of the next pages and posts
2. Safari mobil: A bit similar, but if I pull the logo more times down, than the logo goes in the right position. Next pages or posts are not affected
3. Firefox Mobil: No Problems!
4. Opera Coast Mobil: No Problems
* I don´t use the new mobile plugin > because it is still limited in function.

In the theme panel->Layout settings->Categories, we have settings for every category. Do you plan to add a setting to change Category header color and post header color by category? Now we can only change background color to every category.

If you want to get rid that white space from your header style, please notice that you have to use a bit of CSS code to do that.

Please notice that, on the future you will want to add a logo or a header ad, you will have to disable this option from your Custom CSS area.

I saw that you have a lot of additional customizations through code which can damage the right layout of our theme. I suppose that you want to center your logo with Ad placements. Also, I suppose that you have added a border-bottom and border-top for your header menu wrap which influences this layout. As a quick solution, please remove the latest code that I provided you above and try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

If you’re running the new mobile theme you will also have to place there, mine weren’t working until I found the mobile header sheet and placed code there.
