Hi,
I recently updated to a different template. My header is now duplicating on the post page and I don’t know how to get it to remain solely on the homepage. Any help will be appreciated.

Somehow it was because I had a mobile Page but it wasen’t active or there. He created a mobile Page again and deactivated from the homepage before he removed it. That somehow fixed the problem.
Support is checking for issue and how this could happen.
there is no “mobile page” of the “homepage”
Even if I remove the header & footer, it is showing a header and footer on a mobile device. It’s also only on the homepage. On desktop it looks good in editor view.
I also do not have any cache plugin active. I deleted cache and changed devices.
Problem is only on the “Homepage” not on the category or single post pages.

I cannot update from 8.1 to 8.7.2 – it’s shown in the panel but when I click on “update now” I’m redirected to envato where I cannot find an update in my account. I’ve already installed Newspaper X theme, but when I do a live-preview it looks awful. All my sites are gone…what can I do to move to X without losing my homepage :/

Hello there! I need to place custom shortcodes on my homepage and can’t find out how-to do that.
In previous version i just used “text with header” block, but for now as soon as i try to “edit content”, – it’s empty and there’s no “save” button, so content remains the old one.
My categories are like this: Ana Sayfa (HomePage) > Medya (Main Category) > Fotoğraflar (Subcategory)

I create page with standart wordpress editor. No problems with breadcrumbs. It displays “Ana Sayfa (HomePage) > Medya (Main Category) > Fotoğraflar (Subcategory)” https://ibb.co/JpxchGx
When I create page with tagdiv composer, no breadcrumbs displays. I add breadcrumbs element with live composer. Breadcrumbs display like this: “Ana Sayfa > İnfografikler” . The main category Medya does not display. https://ibb.co/KyHzzJy

What could be the problem?
After update today, on homepage both header and footer showing default instead of own designed with template and cannot even change default header footer, a whole day wasted today by checking caches and other things. I have tried degrading version also but no use, almost tried all the way but in mobile home page header footer are showing default one and also single page template also designed with template and it was working good but after the update today, many blocks are not showing in posts.

Whenever I am editing the mobile page of a category’s template, the mobile homepage template’s content is appended to the bottom of the mobile page template. Not only that, but it also appears to exist on the background. As a result it is unavailable; i.e. I can’t select its row, right click it and delete it. It just sits there.
I investigated the issue recursively and managed to reach as far back hierarchically as the process of adding a new blank mobile category (or other, like a blank mobile single page) template from within cloud templates, and the outcome is still the same; the mobile home page is appended to the bottom of that as well.
Would you happen to have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot that?
I have attempted updating the whole installation on a staging environment, but that further broke the website into lines of shortcodes, and it did not look much better.
If that helps, it feels like a wider issue with the templates engine. Yesterday, while I was editing a single category’s template, I deleted the header for that category alone, but the change was applied to the whole site, forcefully changing the global mobile header template of the entire installation.

Sorry guys, super stuck and can’t find an answer. I want to create a cloud library template, modified from one of your demo templates, and be able to use it on all “static” pages across our site. We have a lot of pages and I want to create a template to make them look and feel the same across the site. I want to make the static content template driven and I can’t seem to figure it out. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Just for clarity, I see that it is possible to exclude individual scripts from Autoptimize when the ‘Optimize JavaScript Code’ is ticked. Is it possible, therefore, to place the JS that controls these elements into .js files and then exclude them so that Autoptimize can optimise the remainder of the script, while still allowing these images to show.
Or does this code work in conjunction with others i.e. if the tdHomepageFullItem js code was excluded but others weren’t, this would still cause issues?

I want to change the design of moobile theme.I dont find any way to customize the post template,homepage,category etc.. Only found a few options in the Theme panel. Tell me way to customize it.
The theme customizer allows you to choose a page where the latest posts are displayed.
“You can choose what’s displayed on the homepage of your site. It can be posts in reverse chronological order (classic blog), or a fixed/static page. To set a static homepage, you first need to create two Pages. One will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.”
How do I change the template for how these posts are displayed on the second page?

Hi, I am using the social counter block on my home page and my blogs. It displays perfectly fine on the homepage, but it doesn’t properly work well on my blogs. I tried disabling all the plugin one by one, but it seems it is not a plugin issue. Can you help me with this?

For my website http://www.nottooold.de I use the Newspaper Theme “Gadget Pro”.
But the filters for the top two teasers “Flex Block 2” do not work correctly.
On the left I would like to teaser a post, on the right the latest post from a sub-category “Top 15 Mixtapes”.
But both teasers cannot find the latest posts, even though they are displayed correctly in other teasers.
We have already uninstalled all plugins and tried all filter variants, from “featured” to a specific ID to “latest”.
What are we doing wrong?

I checked your website and everything seems to work fine. Also, you can not edit a homepage with Mobile Theme plugin.
If you will create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Hi there,
I’m using Autoptimize to try and improve the speed performance of my site. But when I choose to ‘Optimise Javascript Code’, the Full Screen Header (on the menu as per the Fashion demo here) and background images (on other pages like this) no longer appear except when logged in as an administrator.
They do appear when I uncheck the ‘Optimise Javascript Code’. But this has a negative impact on page performance.
I assume it has something to do with the td-backstretch and tdHomepageFullItem elements, but my knowledge of JS isn’t great so I wouldn’t know where to start. Is there a solution whereby I can optimise my Javascript code with Autoptimize, but without preventing the full screen header and background images appearing?

Hi,
Indeed is look that this problem is only on homepage, is possible to have set an individual header and not the global one.
Also make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict to have problems with tagdiv Composer, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If the problem still persists, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and include wp-admin, cPanel and the link of this thread. I will investigate the problem.
