If I try and edit my homepage with newspaper’s page editor, I get redirected to an error 503 page
I also get the same error 503 page if i try and edit the footer.
The footer is currently showing the default logo, so anyone coming to my site sees the default logo instead of my brand

I’ve imported SmartApp section from Cloud library for my homepage and 2 other pages and try to add some elements.
I use tagdiv composer to edit, add elements.
1. When I try to add element: “Text with title” is impossible to save the content, no save button and default save button is covered by the new opened block, see picture: https://ibb.co/fiWN0L
2. Why at custom title add H3 tag as title and not H2? (or customizable).
3. Why if I add some rows after I cannot delete them, do not have delete option? (show message: …should be deleted by composer, in fact are never deleted).
4. After I add text with title block how I set him to have the exact row size (margin) like others blocks/rows already existing in page (where I see the sizes of others rows / block?). I must to guess margin and padding? With inspect element isn’t any help.
Suggestion: Tagdiv composer should be improved for sure, especially when create pages, is very hard to understand him. Try to make it simple: add sections > set section structure > add desired elements to new created section structure like:text, image, call to action, gallery button, etc. And possibility to save a page to library to can reuse that structure. I know you give a lot of demos, but always demos should be customized and then it begins the hard part. With over 100K sales on BF, the Divi from ET could not be approach the situation wrong. Do not try to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks for the reply, I have implemented your suggestions. However, I still have a few problems. Firstly, I would like to remove the space between the main header and the first big grid. I would also like to make it such that the second big grid is the same width as the rest of the page. I would also like to edit the picture sizes in the second big grid such that all of them are 1:1. Lastly, I would like to reduce the space between the headers within the sidebar on the homepage; is there any way that can be done?

I noticed that when a user clicks on the published article author badge at the bottom of the page, has a broken link that just refreshes the page to the homepage. Would it be possible to send the user over to a user page that offers the viewers more information on the author.

tagDiv Composer won’t open anymore. It just hangs forever with this error message. Right before this happened, I was building a new site at http://itresumewriter.com/ and had just added an Author Box to the homepage. No idea what caused it, but now the tagDiv is non-functional.

Hello, I want to add an author box to the bottom/below my pages. I don’t want to have to do this manually as I have hundreds of pages of content. I need some way to do it globally and restrict certain pages from having it e.g. the homepage.
Can anyone suggest a suitable plugin that may work? Or some other work around?

Glad you sorted out some of the problems.
Besides installing the mobile theme plugin there would be no other solution to speed up the website on mobile.
The same page content will be loaded on mobile if the plugin is inactive, so using an average or low internet connection speed it will take more time to load everything

Also I see that there could be a problem with the thumbnails. Try to regenerate them with the plugin mentioned in this guide

Then edit the homepage and check what image sizes are used by the flex blocks

Use a lower or the lowest image size defined there. No point in loading big images for small modules. That should reduce the page size.

Something is very wrong there. The HTML and CSS is broken. From what I can see it only happens in the homepage, could be something specific to it.
If you made any modifications to it prior to this happening, you could try and return to a previous revision for the page.
If that is not the case then this is caused by something else. Did you maybe recently enter a code in the theme panel (ad code, script etc)? temporarily remove all the code in the custom code sections and check again.
Or maybe code entered in the theme files directly, like in the header file, header templates or page template files.
Also check if the same happen if you deactivate all plugins except theme plugins.

Unfortunately our amp don’t have a menu option or the option to create a homepage ( if you active the amp on pages ( and you create a simple page without builders ) thee you set as homepage will be homepage in AMP too ),

Is there a way to turn on or off meta info on a per block or module basis? On my homepage I’ve got some blocks where I want the date to be shown, but not all. I’ve seen how to globally change this for all blocks/modules, but that isn’t helping.

If you want to achieve this on post you can use a cloud template from tagDiv Cloud Library.

I’m using WPBakery on my homepage. If you scroll down below you can see three Facebook video’s next to each other. I have used ”Text With Title” for this, but the problem is that the title messes up the horizontal lines.
The very first video from the left is now down below while I can not find a way to also make the other 2 videos go equally down below. Also letting the very first video from the left go up so that also line up beautiful is not possible.

When viewing my homepage (eastof72nd.com) from web you can see the latest posts that have been published but on mobile’s homepage you cannot see the 3 most recent posts that have been published. Anyone know why this might be?
If I update Newspaper theme by deleting the previous one, will my customize homepage created by builder also gets remove?

Glad you found a workaround. That new issue would require some modifications to the mobile theme files. You could copy the homepage loop code in the page template file

Then wrap that code in a condition like this to make sure it appears only in the page you want

Next add an additional parameter to make the loop display posts from a specific category you want

Using similar filtering and sorting in blocks and grids will lead to them displaying the same posts, that is normal.
If it’s necessary to use the same filtering and sorting, either use the unique articles setting, or the offset setting for each block

The homepage blocks and grids will show what you set them to show, according to the categories you choose in the filter settings
