To disable author name on homepage and comment count, post this in Newspaper>Theme Panel>Custom Code>Custom CSS on your WordPress Dashboard
.td-post-author-name, .td-module-comments {
display: none;
}
To show a specific number of posts on the homepage, go to WordPress dashboard and click on Settings>Reading and under “Blog pages show at most” box, put the number of posts you want to show on homepage and save.
Note: If you decide to use a custom homepage, some of these settings might change.

you can see the blocks in my homepage- plarecon.com … the post headers should have been black but they are all blue.. Even the ticker link and The label TICKER- all had turned blue- so i removed it

The theme has font settings in the theme panel for most elements

So you can change the font and font properties there for the elements you wish. For example the font of the article title for the homepage post element you mention, can be changed here

Each module has a corresponding font setting. You can check what font is currently loaded for a particular element, with the browser inspector for example

Regarding the logo, from what I can see there is no problem. Tested on Chrome incognito and Firefox browser

In the home there are only default theme placeholders displayed, that happens because the necessary thumbnail is disabled. I see you use module 18, so enable this thumb size (Theme panel->Block settings->Thumbs on modules/blocks )

All the link texts in all the various styles blocks suddenly changed from the assigned colors to the default THEME ACCENT COLOR after installing the plugin “Easy Table of Contents”
But its now not changing back to the normal black an dark grey even on removing the plugin.
I can not find any option of changing the color of links- on hover and on click…
Can you please help me get back my older setting mainly on my homepage.

I have a few examples where I can’t seem to change the text’s font style and size. Mostly with titles. I’m checking with “whatfont” extension to make sure, and there’s very surprising settings that have never been set by me in the backend. Also cleared cache in shop and did control + F5.
I basically have 2 fonts that I want to use: PT Sans (in titles) and Georgia (in body). I checked the font setting repeatedly in backend to no avail.
Issues:
– Blog Article titles (posts are working well tho)
– In composer (on homepage specifically): homepage blog post, image blocks TITLE incorrect
– In backend text editor (when writing posts) I see old settings, not the font I see in the frontend
– Footer social media text (open sans?)
– in category pages (ex. https://www.dimitrovadam.hu/elet-tudas/): the category body text, article titles (with thumbnail, and in the list below the thumnbails too)
Apart from this the only issue I have is that in 1) Mozilla 2) Chrome incognito mode the logo disappears from the menu, and only the top menu appears. Sometimes it appears.

I have 2 questions.
Question 1: what is the proper image size ratio for the Tagdiv composer single image element so that whether it be on mobile, tablets, or PC the image will fit and not be cut off? I have to give an image wired sizing just so that they can fit, therefore some look strange and disproportionate on the different platforms.

Indeed it seems the layout is broken at the moment, the page structure does not look right visually and code wise. There are also errors on the homepage only. First, if you are using Visual composer as the main page builder, please deactivate the tagDiv composer. When both editors are active there could be issues.
Also try a theme reinstall, maybe the update was not done properly. Try the FTP method

I was talking about the same problem in two posts in this forum, excuse me (titled “WPBakery Page Builder”).
I’m sure I was not using Visual composer or WPBakery for posts. This was only for homepage. Now I developed a new homepage working with TagDiv Visual Composer and this is now the homepage.
I disabled WPBakery Page Builder.
But this don’t fixed my problem.
My problem is with Newspaper default template for Posts, because the width of content text is fullwidth instead of the measure of the template.

If you choose page builder + title, then the title will be displayed on top of the page. Use the default page template if you don’t want it to show.
The breadcrumbs can be removed in the theme panel if needed for all the website

Page builder with latest articles will always show the latest articles section in the bottom of the page. This can be removed by choosing a different page template.

What is your recommendation for to use with posts?
The site has been working very well with WPBakery. Really I have only the homepage as page and all my posts are built with Default site post template Style 3.
I think I don’t use VC for posts.

Is there a way we can do this without editing the post-date of the post? I’ve tried the “pin” option in the visibility menu, but it’s not working.

Hello ulugg,
If you want to use the Sidebar on your homepage or any page you want, you should use the layout 2/3+1/3 and for 1/3 column you should add the Widgetised sidebar where you should add any element you want. Also, a smart option for the sidebar in homepage might be the Smart Sidebar which can be enabled from Theme panel. Since i installed the new theme on my website, my adsense ads don’t appear in the posts, but only on the homepage.
When you watch the posts,the banners are visualized only few times.
I did an investiation and it could happen because of “rebots.txt”. How you can see, my robots.txt has good settinge.

I have all the posts settings with style 3 and after update the template the written text is fullwidth running behind widgets and the column. I need the texts to be aligned, I can not use a CSS style because that also touches elements of the homepage. There are something in the update of the style 3, I think. hi I have to implement an advanced search form. i have buy facetwp plugins but do not work because the class css called “facetwp-template” is missing.
I tried to insert it in the home page in the section “homepage latest articles”, “posts loop settings”, “extra class”.
When I add that CSS class, it’s not appearing on the front-end, so I don’t think that feature is working. Could you check the “Extra class” setting issue?
