Please notice that the General homepage in Mobile Responsive Mode displays only the content which appears to desktop mode. It does not exist any option to set another layout for Mobile homepage, sorry!

I have inserted a header banner ad in gif format using the theme panel
For some reason the category url of my webpage is added before the target URL of the banner. If I am on the homepage only the homepage URL is added.
Example: The homepage url of my website is kanalfinans.com target URL for the banner is http://www.xyz.com
So the target URL or the banner becomes kanalfinans.com/www.xyz.com
If I am viewing a post in category abc then the target URL or fhte banner becomes kanalfinans.com/abc/www.xyz.com
I have
Disabled all plugins but visual composer (I use W3 Total Cache and I disabled it as well)
Purged Cloudflare cache
Cleared browser cache
I am using Newsmag Version 3.1, WordPress 4.6.1 and Visual Composer 4.12

It was absolutely fine yesterday but today site is not showing feature image on any post or homepage .

You didnot talk wraapping sidebar widgets into border anymore. But if that seems not possible no problem.
The code below only works for thumbnails but I want the border to cover thumbnails, article title, Author name. I don’t want it to work for any other widget or blocks. Only for home page and archive post list.

When i goto the theme panel–> social networks and then change the account names the icons do not change accordingly.
for example if under Facebook: i put in my account user “deskmeta” (originally #)
When I goto my homepage and hover over the social media icon on the top right instead of http://www.facebook.com/deskmeta it is directed to http://www.deskmeta.com/deskmeta.
furthermore if i goto any other page the icon change to pageurl.com/deskmeta
If i change the from deskmeta to http://www.facebook.com/deskmeta –> its directed to http://www.deskmeta.com/www.facebook.com/deskmeta
Why does it always include the page url? Can someone help me?

I’ve managed to login on your site and the issue seems to be related with this element from the homepage: http://screencast.com/t/YW3Alp9qul I’ve made a clone of your homepage but I’ve removed the indicated element and now the slide works fine, here you can see the page: http://cbpeedee.com/tagdiv-test/ That page is private so only site’s admin can see it.
Please check the indicated element and make sure that it won’t break theme’s functionality.

Having issues with Mobile theme enabled. I’ve built blocks on the home page for desktop, but have nothing in the mobile editor (I just expected the default features and latest articles to show up).
However, when I visit the site on my iPhone, I see all the block codes.
I’ve added text in the mobile editor and the text will not show up.
Is there a setting I’m missing, an issue, or conflict?
Cleared caches, everything, but still getting the issue.

We want to use the Newspaper Mobile Theme on Mobile only. Currently, we have a different theme in use for Desktop. The Mobile Theme instructions specify that the homepage template appears only if a static page is used. However, we can’t have a static page set to display in our reading settings, because that conflicts with our desktop theme. Is there another way to have the Mobile Theme display its Homepage Template, without setting a static page to display in the Reading settings?

I’ve checked the custom post types with mobile theme and they works fine, however to display posts from a custom post type on homepage you need to modify the main query which is made in: http://screencast.com/t/kcPzA17dX
This is a complex task which involve good codeing skills and many tests in order to be achieved.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

If you are using a playlist at your homepage, please ensure that you have enabled the multibyte module. Please contact your host and make sure that PHP multibyte module is installed and activated – http://php.net/manual/en/mbstring.installation.php
Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Check your system status and if all of the parameters are not higher increased, you will have to increase them to the higher value, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Having some odd mobile menu issues when I update from Newspaper 6.72 to 7.4.
See screenshots below to see what the ‘correct’ (expected/what it looks like on 6.72) homepage appears like (on both mobile and desktop) compared to the incorrect version.

I’ve tried the stuff here. The gzip thing is schizo. I do a gzip test and it says “working”, but then I do a speed test and it says “needs compression”. Installed the wp cache plugin, etc. Tried most of the stuff here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/, not much improvement. Anything else to try that is unique to this theme? Faster homepages? I’m using the sport demo and even cut down a lot of the content. We’re talking really slow. 8 seconds to load. Thanks!
want to do blocking for my homepage. but when I open a new page to do the blocking, I dont see visual composer option to select various blocks. Plz help

from my side, I uninstalled the theme, used FTP to upload the theme, installed the latest mobile plugin but the error is still there:
Note the error came only on Homepage, other pages are OK.
here is the error that came after the latest articles module at homepage:

Same here. Images used by the theme are not showing. All manually coded images (in the posts) are showing, all Woocommerce images are showing…but those served by theme on homepage, sidebar blocks, etc (using VC) are not showing.

What are some common reasons images would not display on a desktop? They are fine on mobile- or they may be cached.
