The method provided above for the hover works properly on my end. If you select the options as shown in the screenshot, there will be no zoom effect when hovering. Maybe you have caching installed locally or server-side, try to clear the cache after making all these changes.

Sorry but we have no insight into this issue. Our theme will not reset itself automatically. There is something affecting it and causing the reset but it is very hard to identify. It could be a simple plugin conflict, it could be your server configuration, it could be your worpdress install ,etc.
It can even be a custom code added in the theme panel or a strange ad code. I can’t say for sure.

The theme works properly by default and this issue is not present. Try to think about what modifications have been made to the theme files, or maybe custom code in theme panel. Also deactivate the child theme if you are using one. Almost all the time plugins are to blame for these kind of image problems, and the solution is to find the responsible one. You can also clear any caching installed after you deactivate the plugins.
Try inspecting the page using the browser inspector to see if there are any errors in the console. Maybe this will provide a clue to why this is happening.

Almost in every case plugins are to blame. I have tested your website on iphone and I see the problem. On Android phones using Chrome browser it displays properly. I would suggest as a test, to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed, deactivate the child theme if you are using one and check again. Also make sure you have updated all the plugins provided in the theme package and you are using. Please let us know how it goes.

Well if the problems are also present on the twentysixteen theme it means your issues are not theme related but wordpress related. Please make sure wordpress is intact and running properly before using our theme. I suggest reinstalling wordpress.

The style comes from the demo you have installed. Please compare your theme with the demo you use. Do not compare it to the default theme demo. This is the demo you have installed on your site: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine/
That is where the uppercase titles come from. It is a demo specific style. You need to compare apples to apples 🙂
If you do not like the uppercase titles you can always use a css code to make them regular again:

Yes we just released an update including the latest one from VC but I;m not sure they made any implementation regarding the post grid. It is a security fix as the changelog suggests: https://www.screencast.com/t/bktyUbPZ6O
You can try to use our own blocks and grids in order to have better control over the content. Our page builder still has the same shortcodes and the same sorting options and filters only it’s moved to the front-end.
The custom page builder is included in our side-project named ionmag and can be downloaded from here: https://www.wpion.com/free-news-theme/ then you can install the page builder from the free theme. However we do not recommend using both visual composer and our own page builder for the moment. It is still experimental on neswpaper and newsmag.

Maybe a plugin could be causing this weird issue, you can try to disable all of them except Visual composer, clear any caching installed then check to see if the problem is still there. Also check any customization that might have been made to the theme files directly, or through a child theme. Try to think when was the first time this has happened and possibly identify the cause. Please let us know how it goes.

@sunnysider Maybe something went wrong doing the installation process, if no files of the theme have been modified and deactivating all the plugins do not fix this issue. It seems that some of the elements on the page are not functioning properly. Maybe you have some custom code entered in theme panel, added to the theme files or through a child theme. I have not seen this issue before, and this is not happening on a default theme or a clean install.
You could try a clean install using this method – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and use only the plugins provided in the theme package to see if this solves the problem as it should. Please let us know how it goes.

Everything is working properly on my end, and if you are using the respective block on a full row it should display as intended as well. Maybe you have set custom class to that row, or you have some custom code affecting this. Also you should try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed then create a new test page and add this block on a full row, to see if it displays as it is meant to. Please let us know how it goes.
