I got problem with my Social Counter Plugin, it can’t show fans number of my Facebook Fanspage and Twitter. I have 39k fans for Facebook and 643 follower for twitter. i’m using Newspaper v6.5.1 and Social Counter v3.0
i writed the correct facebook id (programbisa) and twitter (programbisa).
I have tried everything, such as disable all plugin except Visual Composer and Social Counter in case of plugin conflict, Reinstall Social Counter Plugin, and Delete all cache. But still no luck. Could you please check it?

I have jetpack and the stats installed but I am not getting any results when I add the sort order to the block.
Alright, I’ve been reading a lot of websites regarding this issue. What I don’t understand is how this started to happen… but ok.
What I’ve done is trying that suggestion in the .htaccess but nothing happened.
Then I installed a plugin ‘SSL Insecure Content Fixer’. That managed fixing actually a lot.
What remains are some errors of mixed content aiming at images, for instance:
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.gadgetgoeroe.nl/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://www.gadgetgoeroe.nl/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/gadgetgoeroe-logo3.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
Would I really need to (re)upload all the pics? Merely adding an ‘s’ after ‘http’ in the theme panel > header didn’t work. And what about all the other pics used in all my posts?

Another thing you can try is the old fix-it-all technique: Do a clean install. In rare cases every piece of software can break on install. Remove your current theme and follow this guide to install the theme via ftp as it is a safer method to do it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

I have a bit of a problem with pagination no longer working on my site. All seemed fine, but at some point, I don’t know when, pagination has stopped working. I had Total Cache installed which I had presumed was the problem, however, I’ve uninstalled that cleared as many caches as I can and deactivated all but Visual Composer and the problem still persists. I’ve also tried the pages on numerous machines and still have the same problem.
Looking at the Chrome console it seems that there is an error in the tagdiv_theme.js

When you install the demo without content only the settings are loaded, colors, fonts etc. The content must be created by the user. It actually depends on the version of the theme you are updating from. If you update from version 4 to 6, then all customization will be lost. If you altered the theme files, then even if you already had version 6 and update to 6.5.1 they will still be replaced in the new version if you did not use a child theme. The ‘update script’ you mentioned is only for updating from version 4 of the theme so I assume you have this version if you mentioned the scrpit. In this case, unfortunately all your customization will not work anymore.
Newspaper 6 is a whole new theme so an update from 4 to 6 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible).
Always make a full backup of your current installation – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups and then do a clean update, meaning that we recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ update also the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder. In the “how to update” guide is specified that you will have to run the script that will import from database your settings.
The shortcodes have been changed so old ones will not work anymore. Please note that old files customization or custom css will not work with the new version and you will have to adjust or re-add them.
Bottom line is that newspaper 6 is a whole new theme built from scratch.
The child theme is recommended for custom modifications but if the files you alter are going to be changed in a future update, you will have to check which file was modified by checking the changelog for each update and then adjust the file in your child theme if needed.

If the problem is still there after the update, you can try the back end without other plugins. Please disable all of them except visual composer.

HI, I have several admins on the blog and my fear is that one of them might decide to install one of the demos found on the theme panel in WordPress dashboard and we will lose all our content to the new demo.
My question; Is it possible to remove the Demos link once the site is up and running? If yes, then How?
and can it be turned back at will?

Try to reinstall the latest Visual Composer version available with the theme (V 4.7.4) deactivate all plugins, clear all caches and test again. Also check in browser console if there are some errors while you’re trying to edit a block.
