I already tried to do that installation but I can’t find the files in my pc (step 4)

Please make sure that you use the latest version of Visual Composer(4.3.5).
If you need to update the plugin follow this guide to update Visual Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ and also remove and install the VC plugin from the /plugins folder which came with the theme files.
Also please provide your site URL.

It worked… One more thing i would like to ask which is regarding the cache plugin… I have installed W3 Total Cache and i’m not so familiar with this plugin bcz previously i was using WP Super Cache..
As the documentation say I should only activate page cache.. i did that already but there are more setting on the page cache tab should I just leave them as they are? Or do i need to make any changes??

First off, let me thank everyone in the Newspaper support for being ever so kind and helpful with me ever since I made my purchase, this is actually one of the best ater-sales services I ever encountered! I am even doiung an article on my blog with the theme installed, where I will be thanking TagDiv for such a wonderful theme!
The theme is fully responsive, even non-javascript user-friendly, and I’d really recommend it to anyone. I recently heard something about a new version of newspaper coming, so I thought maybe I’d chip in a few of my own ideas for the next version, please let me know if they are workable:
1. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new “Stacks” and pre-defined styles.
2. I’d really appreciate it if you could modify the tagDiv social counter to be more customizable, probably something like Arquam here: http://codecanyon.net/item/arqam-retina-responsive-wp-social-counter-plugin/5085289?WT.oss_phrase=facebook&WT.oss_rank=26&WT.z_author=TieLabs&WT.ac=search_list
Also, a few more social media options, like Tumblr and Feedburner, wouldn’t hurt.
3. A featured news ticker, like the ones offerred by Jarida and Hot Topix, will be awesome:

@Boricua1 what theme do you use Newsmag or Newspaper?
If you use Newsmag lastest version(1.5) you should have Visual Composer plugin version 4.4.2 and for Newspaper lastest version of the plugin is 4.3.5
Please follow this guide to update Visual Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ and also remove and install the VC plugin from the /plugins folder which came with the theme files.

I have installed plugins and there is a problem between 2, Facebook plugin (to put a facebook comment) and Yoast WordPress SEO. At the beginning, 2 plugins work very well together. But now, the facebook comments doesn’t appear at bottom of pages articles. And sometimes, the SEO plugin turns off. I don’t know why it happens. Can you help me please?

I installed a plugin called Sportspress, and it added some custom post types to my WordPress. It seems like when I am on the posts/archives of those new custom post types the mega menu in my navigation does not drop-down. The regular “drop-downs” in the menu work, but not the mega menus.
Here on the homepage (http://dawg.christianinternethosting.com/) if you hover over the “football” menu item you can see the mega menu.
But here on one of the new custom post types (http://dawg.christianinternethosting.com/player/mason-ewing/) if you hover over the “football” menu item nothing drops down.
Why is it that the mega menu doesn’t work on the new custom post types?

Hi,
If you are not using woocommerce or bbpress you can remove the forum templates and shop style. Please make a backup of your current theme installation before in case something goes wrong you can revert back to it.
According to it’s settings the theme generates another css which overwrites the default one so yes when you change your settings extra css is added to the page.
We will investigate and consider this for future versions.

The error appears because you have added the move_js_function outside of the main function.
Also remove other changes you’ve made or remove and re-install the plugin from the /plugins folder that was provided with the theme files.

As Chris stated the @media queries are used to style the content for mobile screen widths. You can edit the theme’s css file and search for @media (max-width: 767px) and remove them, leaving just the style for tablet which is under @media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 1023px): http://screencast.com/t/5pibBDJP33d
I suggest you backup your current theme installation before you alter it so that you can revert back to it if something goes wrong.

To use rtl you should localize your WordPress: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language
Install WordPress in your language then automatically the theme will use the rtl.
Search the forum for suggestion and fixes for the issue you may encounter with this and you should also consider that unfortunately we recently have decided that starting with the next theme update we will not include rtl support within the theme. You can still use the theme as it is but unfortunately you cannot updated it as you will lose the rtl support or you can update it and make yourself the necessary adjustments needed.

The “pick and drop items..” issue was reported when using an older version of the plugin together with the latest version of WordPress (4.1).
Please make sure that you download and update your theme to the latest version (4.6.1) and also remove and install the VC plugin from the /plugins folder which came with the theme files, use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
This was tested so you shouldn’t have any issues.

Please make sure you also test this without any plugins active and leave just Visual Composer plugin active and also empty cache then check again.
We suggest to deactivate all plugins to make sure this doesn’t happen due to others plugins you use, also if you don’t use latest version of Speed Booster plugin please install it from the /plugins folder that was provided together with the theme files. If you have the latest version of the theme (4.6.1) you should have Speed Booster version 3.1.

I have just started using Newsmag. Its amazing. And exactly as I have always wanted. I have successfully installed it with no problems.
I know Chris has written a comprehensive guide on this and i have read it.
But I guess I am doing something wrong because as of now Google PageSpeed Insights grades it at a disappointing 0/100 for both Mobile and Desktop. I have tried most of what i can implement from the documentation page. Most of my problem has to do with imaging, from what I gather after analysing. Apart from .htacess i have not been able to modify any files yet as recommended.
I would appreciate support to fix just this one problem i have.

Two things I’ve noticed:
1. It says ‘This theme requires the following plugin: WPBakery Visual Composer.’ at the top of the page. I currently have Version 4.3.5 installed.
Also there was originally two of these plugins installed. I deleted the lower version.
2. When tagDiv Speed Booster is activated it turns the mobile site to a blank page. – it’s currently still inactive.
So it looks like there’s an issue with the ‘WPBakery Visual Composer’ and the tagDiv Speed Booster seems to block the mobile version being displayed.
Anyone recommend a next step?

Are you installing WPTouch to try and “save” and recover from the loses you experienced?
What did you use before the newsmag theme?
Was it responsive, how is google indexing the new theme.
I haven’t ever experienced a drop like this….. and I have around 50 percent of my traffic is Mobile.
If anything I lost more traffic trying out WP Touch Pro then using a normal desktop theme (as bad as that sounds)
Also which are you using to test page speed?

Ya, I solved it..sorry for getting back that late. Basically, the theme has the schema.org attributes all over the sidebar, in every link from the list. If you enable rich pins on Pinterest, it will scan your article page, and it will get the first link from your sidebar and get that.
The solution is simple, you must edit td_block.php and remove the itemprop attributes and add open graph to your article page. You can do that manually by addning the meta to your header or just install a plugin that does that for you.

Ever since I installed the template on my site (http://allaboutoccult.com), WordPress keeps telling me to update Visual Composer. But I can’t without the License Key. What do I do?
You keep saying you have no problems on your websites etc. How did you get yours to work? The post grid is only supported with the newest Visual Composer which is not provided by the Theme at the moment because they have not updated it yet.
As I told you I don’t know what you think of me but I tried the theme on a clean WordPress INSTALL with the plugin Visual Composer and still doesn’t work. I did that to see where the problem is – it looks like the problem is from the theme.
