This fix will be implemented in coming update.
Unfortunately in Newspaper v9.6 the mobile theme have integrate the AMP, so the url is the same for mobile version and amp version, the way you say you’ll like to have saw in previous versions of newspaper; if you want to achieve that you can deactivate the tagDiv Amp plugin that cams with the theme and install other amp plugin.

Almost finishing the theme settings. I made a change that is caudando falls every time I access the theme panel or post. Drop the entire system and browse the site and it takes a few minutes to go back. I’m sending two pictures to explain. Basically when I installed wordpress it put a url in the settings that does not belong to my site. As soon as I finished the settings, I went into the wordpress config and changed the address of the wordpress and url to my domain. Now the site suffers from these crashes every time you access the control panel of the theme.

I do not have any redirects setup for anything with amp in url. I did some research and saw that amp for wordpress plugin had some redirect issues with some users.

This is a very generic reply which could fit almost any question.
As I said: It was working perfectly before. I didn’t change anything since then:
No WordPress update, no theme update, no plugin installed, no manual code change, nothing. Not even a new page created. This is what worries me.
Of course, if I had changed anything since it worked, the first thing I would have done is undo what I changed. But I didn’t do anything. The TD composer simply stopped loading.
Here some additional info if it helps:
Theme version: 9.2.2
PHP version: 5.4.45
Wp version: 4.9.9
Have you ever seen this type of blank screen when launching the TD composer?
Is there any ‘debug mode’ or anything that would make the composer give more information about what is going on? I don’t get any error message.
Please try to help me. This is really serious. It is a live site and I cannot edit any of the pages although I didn’t chnage anything!
even fresh install doesnt work. home page is not possible to edit. it is not possible for me to use this theme if I am not able to change home page categories.

I dont want to install demo.
I recently attempted to install Newspaper on our site, and while the installation appeared to be successful, the theme management pages don’t work. So, the theme installed, but when the theme activates instead of going to the Welcome page, I get an HTTP 500 error. This is the case for all theme admin pages: td_theme_welcome; td_theme_plugins; td_theme_demos; td_theme_support; td_system_status; td_theme_panel. I never got the option to activate additional plugins, though the theme did install the tagDiv Composer and Social Counter plugins on its own. Running latest version of WordPress 5.1 and did a new install of the latest version of Newspaper.
We did have an older version of Newspaper previously installed, but not active. I removed the old version, as well as the associated plugins, and I’m not sure why I’m unable to get into the theme itself once it’s activated.

Hi – I updated WP core today (was dreading Gutenberg and put it off). Also installed the Classic Editor plugin. Now there is no box for TagDiv composer on any pages and that is how I originally created some of my homepage. I also can’t switch from text to visual, but I’ve asked my developer about that. The TD Composer plugin is installed and active.
My homepage got stretched full width, which I did not want, and I’d like to put it back the way it was. Thanks.

But from what I’ve read online manually updating certain ones will fix the issue.
The Newspaper theme is installed but it is missing the stylesheet and I am unable to see it in the installed list when trying to change themes through the customize screen.
I have the Envato Market Place installed and I can see the Newspaper 9 theme there but installing it doesn’t work as the theme is already installed.
I’ve taken backups and I’m considering deleting the theme and reinstalling to see if that works.
Please advise what is the best option to proceed?

The demos have two install options. One is with content, meaning that the homepage and all the other pages of the demo will be imported, a demo menu, demo posts and categories, demo logo, additional stylesheet where needed (design), theme panel settings.
The other one will not import any dummy content, no homepage, no demo posts, menus, categories, only the additional stylesheet (where needed) and theme panel settings will be imported.
To better get used to the theme in some cases it is better to install a demo with content, it will look just like in the live pages, the images used may be different

Then begin to gradually customize the website, set your own logos, menus, configure the blocks and grids to show your own posts etc

Uninstalling a demo will remove any demo elements that have been imported. The website will be as it was before installing it. Installing a different demo after one demo has been installed, will replace demo elements from the previous demo with the new ones.
It is recommended to make a full backup before uninstalling a demo, just to be safe.

So you using just the AMP plugin and not the mobile theme plugin. You want to add a Yandex.Metrika analytics code in AMP. I found a guide in the matter

Seems it requires that a script be added in the head section of the plugin, and then the actual code after the body tag. Maybe follow these instructions as mentioned, should work as they say.

I have not understood how to insert new icons because the code of each menu is for example this: <i class = “td-icons-farm td-icons-animals”> while you indicate to install a plugin “Font Awesome 4 Menus plugin “as reported in your article: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/.
There is no other method to use icons with class “td” instead of “fa fa”. Do I have to install a plugin?

I have checked your website and I saw that your AMP is valid but please notice that you have 9.5 version of the theme. Here is talking about an old AMP plugin. If you want to have the new one, you need to update the theme to the latest version of it which is Newspaper 9.6, install the Mobile Theme and AMP plugin, set up according to our above documentation, clear all the caches and check the results.
