I installed several plugins as recommended by tagdiv. It happend only to new articled. Can you please have a look?
Hi,
That would depend on the owners of the videos, their owners have the option to monetize their channels and serve ads or not. Those ads could be disabled for you by installing an Ad-blocker extension for your browser, but not in general for everyone who watches the video.
Thanks
Hi,
@InstallationComplete There are no such plans that I am aware of. Maybe there are themes that would be more suited for maintaining a more advanced shop. The Newspaper theme works with Woocommerce and will not interfere with it’s functionality and settings, but it also does not add much to it.
I will note however any suggestions you might have and add them on our list.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, some demos when installed will try to load local images. be sure to check the theme panel after installing a demo and remove/replace the demo images with your own. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
There are differences between the post meta in the page source, in my case using default theme install and only theme plugins, and in your case.
This is how it is for me and how it should be
– https://www.screencast.com/t/a5SVXgFnu
In your case there is inline CSS used – https://www.screencast.com/t/DygO0ZFuk
Maybe you did some modifications in this theme file directly or by a child theme
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7xYfu4dJvsd
Please check that file and see how that meta looks for you. Let me know.
Hi,
All the demos are made with the tagDiv composer, using theme blocks, grids etc. The demos used to be made with Visual composer previously, but they have been remade. The tagDiv composer is the main page builder provided with the theme. However Visual composer (now WPBakery) is still provided in the package.
So there will be no problem creating pages with our page builder. Also there are many demos to choose from and install
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/demos_introduction/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/

Hi,
Indeed, 64M would be insufficient for the theme and plugins. It would depend on your other plugins as well, the bigger the number of plugins the higher the memory consumption. For some users we recommend 256M if possible.
The theme logo should be like this after the update
– https://www.screencast.com/t/murG2ESh
That could be just a browser cache issue, clear the browser cache or test with a different browser. Try to force refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R). Also clear all caches installed and CDN files if you use it.
Thanks
Hello,
As so many others – I get the Google warning “Server errors (5xx)” because of your theme. I am hosting several sites, two of which uses Newspaper theme – and they are the only ones with this issue.
I have updated to the latest Newspaper theme. I have cleaned up among plugins. Both sites are meeting the theme requirements. I have re-installed the theme on both sites.
Yet, Google is getting 500-error from the following path “/wp-content/themes/Newspaper”.
My server host has looked into it as well and told me it’s “the code in your theme causing the issues”. Considering I am hosting several other websites and a huge amount of people seem to have this issue with your theme – it would be safe to assume it’s an issue with the theme.
In this thread you fixed the users issue, but you are not publishing the fix openly (!?) https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-unusable/#new-post
Could you please advise on this issue and in this thread show the resolution to that user.
I love this this theme, from the design to it’s customization options – but this is breaking my site. Google is already punishing me for using Newspaper theme with this error code. It would be a hassle to buy and change theme.
In addition, I just deactivated your composer-plugin and installed the js_composer, is that a fix for this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Olov
Hi,
So you installed the theme and theme plugins and that notice was displayed. Please re-install it, by FTP would be the most reliable method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-wordpress/
The tagDiv composer should be automatically installed and active as soon as you activate the theme in WordPress themes.
Be sure to check the theme requirements as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
Check if the notice is still displayed. Additionally try as a quick test to deactivate all your other plugins except theme plugins, check if this has any effect. Maybe clear the cache and CDN files if used. Let us know.
Thanks
Install the theme via FTP: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Hi,
That seems to be related to the optinmonster plugin, you could try disabling that and the error should be gone. maybe try reinstalling it or check it’s settings or requirements, if it did not cause problems before.
Thanks
Good day. Do not install the Newspaper theme in my hosting. I get this message: “The link you have followed has expired, please try again.
“

Hi, I solved installing latest version of Newsmag
Thank you and my best regards!

I already have a test subdomain.
I’ve experimented some stuffs :
– uninstall my theme (sound radar)
– reinstall it > no more bug
– import my theme configuration > bug came back
– reset the theme in the theme panel import export > no more bug.
So there is something in the customizing of the theme panel that break it. I’ll put them back one by one found the one that bug and come back to you.
Hi – when I visit the Envato website I get ‘Download not available
Item removed by either staff or the author’ I installed the theme on my local server and then uploaded it to my live site! I bought it 3 times and use it on 3 of my live websites! I am awaiting for a reply from Envato as I don’t know why this download was removed.
I was looking for the option to hide the date in a block on my page. But why is the settings on the Theme Options page? This disables it everywhere. This should be an option on the specific block when generating it on a page.
For Example it should then generate per block:
[td_block_14 installed_post_types=”postnames” limit=”5″ sort=”alphabetical_order” ajax_pagination=”” showdate=”false”]
I just installed the new theme and demo. However, the problem occurs when I go to the theme panel to update the colors, theme fonts and whatnot. Once I click ‘save changes’ the loading icon shows up and stays there, without saving any changes. This has been going on for two days since I installed the theme.
Sir the somehow related to server error but now when I log in to my wp-admin I see this type error

Hi!
I have the exact same problem. I’ve uninstalled the plugin, manually installed the new version, but still nothing. The theme is of course the latest version (8.8) and on the newspaper plugins page it appears as installed and active.
Even when trying to create a new page from scratch with tagDiv Composer, Social Counter is the only element that doesn’t appear on screen when I try to drag and drop it. I mean I drop it and the corresponding options on the left appear, although no placeholder appears on the main page. And when I click anywhere else it disappears into oblivion…
Hello ds-2,
Please keep in mind that we every time recommend to our customers that before doing a theme update to do a full backup to the database to avoid losing all of the data. We do not recommend to update the theme using the Envato Toolkit plugin because it’s not the reliable way and might appears some errors, sorry! Please update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest and healthy way for updating your theme. Please follow the steps from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Try to recreate your pages using only the TD Composer and remove the Visual Composer shortcodes. This tutorial can help you -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello grochu,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Also, provide CPanel access to any further investigations.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello dhcosta,
First of all, I will thank you for your kind words and we are happy seeing happy customers!
Please keep in mind that we every time recommend to our customers that before doing a theme update to do a full backup to the database to avoid losing all of the data. You should use the child theme and for this, before using it, you should read the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thanks for your understanding!
Okay thank you, now it works. Now I have the problem, I have for my category: Category Template 2 installed. In the category global settings – TDB template – I put now the Category Template 2. Now I only see blank category page without posts, what am I doing wrong?
Hey there
Have no experience with CSS but need to change image display. All images inside post content have padding on the left and right and I need to make them full-width. See the picture as example – https://imgur.com/a/1gYDIbq.
Any ideas?
