I was working in my development site. not the production site.

We can not edit TEXT LOGO and TEXT LOGO TAGLINE in 6.6.5, they are default text and in grey, that can not be changed, no matter what style of header we use.

Thanks.

Hello kirstycollings,

Unfortunately, we do not recommend changing position and size of the logo because you can break the layout. As you can see in our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ we have 12 type of header styles and the best way should be to change one of this for a better result because these are set and calibrate by default to a good look. I have checked your website and your logo is loaded correctly and is filled right. I do not understand very well what you want to achieve. Please provide more details about your desired changes with some useful screenshots so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thank you for the message!

Hello,

1) This code works on our end with the default logo:

@media (min-width:1141px){
.td-header-sp-logo img{
left:-95px!important;
}
}
@media (min-width:1018px) and (max-width:1141px){
.td-header-sp-logo img{
left:-28px!important;
}
}
@media (max-width:1018px){
.td-header-sp-logo img{
left:-105px!important;
}
}

You can change these values to your preference.

2)Unfortunately this header was designed to work with adsense. You will need to remove the container for the ad spot from the theme files first if you want to increase the size of the logo: http://screencast.com/t/BUYmlAB9I6v
Then you can use css to adjust it, but the best way to have a larger logo is to use a header style that uses the full logo . In this case the theme will display the full size of your logo.
You can checik header styles here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/

Thank you!

Help!! I have a post where at the bottom, the link needs to click through to go to a specific website. I add the link as normal to the image and set it to open in a new tab. I don’t have modal turned on for the image, yet, when I save the post the image opens up in a modal and doesn’t actually click through to the website like it should. Please help, how can I fix this??

Post to fix
And the image is the Target logo towards the bottom of the post, it should link to their website, but instead it’s opening in a weird modal that it’s not set to open in.

2. How can I change the size of the logo? Google adsense I do not use.

Hello thava,

Unfortunately, we do not recommend changing position and size of the logo because you can break the layout. As you can see in our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ we have 12 type of header styles and the best way should be to change one of this for a better result because these are set and calibrate by default to a good look. If you want to the position and the size of your logo, you have to adjust these CSS values from this section -> http://screencast.com/t/P07dgRn7t4 For example, below I gave you an example to how you can change the size of your logo. Please try the code and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo img {
max-height: 130px;
}
.td-header-sp-logo img {
width: 250px;
height: 130px;
}

The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/weCuB4E1

For you second request, I suppose that you are referring to News ticker element (Trending Now). If you want to edit the text from this feature you have to use a CSS code.

Example for editing the News ticker element ->

.td_module_trending_now a {
color:red;
font-size:25px;
}

The result -> http://screencast.com/t/ptQV6u8gA

I do not understand very well your third request. Please provide more details about what you want to achieve. Also, please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fatal-error-in-wp-contentthemesnewspaper/ maybe you find the answer to your question.

Hope this helps!

If is not what you mean or you need more assistance in this regard, please provide more details about your desired changes so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thank you for the message!

HI,
I am using Header Style 1 with a logo exactly as specified by documentation (Logo Upload: 284 x 90px, Retina Logo Upload: 568 x 180px), but a thin white spacing appears between the logo and the header background (http://www.screencast.com/t/rp4oEmWl0bbb). I tried increasing the height but that didn’t work either.
What can I do?

Hi there – is there a way of making my logo fill the entire header space – at the moment the options are limiting the size of the logo so it is shrunk down to a minimal width – is it possible to change this?
thanks

Hello bhadrabalaram,

For an accurate response, you will provide me your link so I can inspect it closer. For example, please try the code below and add it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.

The code is ->

.td-header-style-3 .td-header-header {
margin-left: 0px;
}
.td-header-style-3 .td-header-sp-logo {
padding-left:0px;
margin-left: 0px;
}
.td-header-style-3 .td-header-sp-logo a img {
margin-left: 0px;
}

The result -> http://screencast.com/t/4JcyKBDFEzDt and other example is here -> http://screencast.com/t/In0djext7v

Also, here depends on what kind of image you are using as the logo because it is possible to have some white space in the image and that you cannot align to the left.

Thank you for the message!

Hello,
In order to use a bigger logo we recommend using a full logo header and using a bigger image. This is the safest way to do it.
Alternativerly, you can use css to enlarge your logo on your header style:

@media(min-width:1141px){
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-recs, .td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo{
margin-bottom:0!important;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo{
width: 320px!important;
height: 120px!important;
margin:0!important;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo img{
width:335px!important;
max-height:150px!important;
}
}

Thanks.

height: 140px;
}

Hi,
You requested the logo to not be a link anymore, so you can simply delete the parts I highlighted in the code and that’s it.
Thank you!

Hello Catalin, thanks for visiting our website but the one you checked is running the old theme as I am still working on Newspaper and haven’t yet switched due to different reasons. With Newspapers the logo looks like this https://gyazo.com/8ab828ee1ad6320b573d590eaac9bb66 , and that is after removing white space on the left side in the original logo. It still doesn’t align as I would like it to be, i.e. the logo needs to appear the way it appears in the screenshot you sent from my currently running theme, but with Newspaper I am not able to set it right. Would greatly appreciate a solution. Thanks.

Hello bhadrabalaram,

I have checked your website and saw that your logo is perfectly centered on the left with the main menu bar -> http://screencast.com/t/KDNsKuRrgvZA If you need further assistance in this regard, please provide more details about what you want to do, so I will be able to provide more accurate response.

Hello,

You will need to remove any custom css you might have that affects the title and use both these classes to target both versions of the logo:
.td-header-style-7 .td-header-sp-logo img{}
and
.td-header-style-7 .td-affix .td-header-sp-logo img{}

Thanks.

Hi,
Header style 10 uses the logo-text file: http://screencast.com/t/UaqJhTG2y, so you will need to remove/replace the path from here: http://screencast.com/t/JzzYXX0pmhP
Thank you!

Hello,
Please specify the header style you use as the logo is added differently on every header style.
Thank you!

Hi,

This can be done only by altering the theme files. You need to remove the code for the ad place in teh header style 3 file: http://screencast.com/t/MZ0vGILsmG and then use this css for the logo positioning:
.td-header-style-3 .td-header-sp-logo{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
float: none!important;
}

result: http://screencast.com/t/MjMAIP1k

Thanks
