2. Not sure where those items (the “photography” “categories” and “travel” tabs) are located on your side, please provide more details or the site url. This happens due of the header style used. If you want to have the full size, please try to use another header style that will use a full logo size, as example -> Style 10.

Unfortunately the logo is the same. It does not get edited in any way. It maintains the exact same dimensions on the mobile version. You can try to edit your logo in a photo editor and make it more crisp/sharp. Unfortunately I have no alternative solution for this as the logo is unchanged from one version to another.

This is the correct behavior of the theme. The logo retina should be with a size greater than to normal logo for a better quality on mobile mode. These details you can find in Theme panel, like this: http://screencast.com/t/fcGiKhHPDZX

I looked into this issue again and this is the default behavior of the theme. The header style you use, (10) uses the same logo for mobile and desktop. It was a design choice made by the developers.
You can use your current logo if you want and make it responsive with css. Just use this code in the theme panel – custom css box:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-logo{
width: 100%!important;
}
}

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and reset cdn if you use it. Also if you have any modifications to your logo, please check them as well and try it without modifications as well.
If the problem is still there afterwards, please provide a link top your website so we can inspect the issue.
