Multumesc, functioneaza, dar pentru https://www.idevice.ro/ ce ar trebui sa folosesc pentru a ascunde spatiu liber de deasupra logo-ului, eventual si cel care ramane cand introduc logo-ul in bara de meniu cu paginile create?

Separat, pentru http://xzs.idevice.ro/ incarc stylesheet-ul dintr-un CDN, insa se poate vedea ca anumite elemente din pagina nu apar deloc, patrate sau diverse caractere aparand in locul lor.
Stylesheet-ul e comprimat si daca e incarcat din serverul meu totul apare ok, deci unde e problema?
Am modificat url-ul spre stylesheet direct din td_wp_booster_functions.php, mai trebuie facuta o schimbare altundeva ?

These look different to your screen shot samples. Also in v4 you had 4 styling options you could select which is missing in v6 yet in the code they are still referred to? td-social-style-2 – Is there a way to select other style options?

2. The original link above shows a pdf with all the screen shots.

3. On a post without using the visual composer the shortcode option does not allow buttons to be added? Can this be done or made active?

L-am scos de tot, ramane in continuare spatiu gol. Oricum, asta e doar o parte a problemei, ramane spatiu gol daca sterg si titlu, deci codul care ar trebui sa afiseze top bar, logo si ads creeaza acel spatiu gol. Cum pot sa le ascund pe alea ?

Acel h1 e pus pe titlu pentru ca Google nu mi-l vede ca si titlu altfel, am pus acum ceva vreme si o imagine cu eroarea din google webmaster. Efectiv imi spune ca prima pagina nu are titlu.
Mai mult decat atat, diverse programe de SEO imi spun acelasi lucru, in mod ciudat, poate reusiti sa faceti ceva cu asta.
Separat, scotand H1 de pe titlu si mutand logo-ul in bara de meniu, ramane un spatiu mare in partea superioara si nu prea inteleg de ce.
Nu pot sa-l lasa asa tot timpul pentru ca arata aiurea, dar aici : http://xzs.idevice.ro/ e prezentata destul de bine problema.
Am dezactivat complet top bar, nu e vreun articol adaugat in partea superioara, dar totusi exista un spatiu gol care nu e natural.

Here’s an update. Again, I’m using iPhone 6+ and default Safari browser to view this. It’s the same phone I used with Newspaper 4 and there was no issue at all.

I’ve changed to using the main theme now and I suspect the culprit is the Big Grid 3 that was causing it. So I changed back to Big Grid 2 and the result is this.

The problem now are:
1) Header ad are still showing despite disabling it through theme panel and I’ve also added the code below under theme custom css.

2) Big Grid 2 STILL doesn’t fit on the mobile, just like your demo site as well.

3) Header logo background is now black instead of white. Previous Newspaper 4 was white.

4) Big Grid 2 repeated at the very bottom of the page, right before the footer section.

Can you guys recheck the mobile site part? I really didn’t know how to solve all this.

1. How do I erase the excess pink space from the top of footer to snap closer to logo and same with bottom of footer to snap closer to social icons?

I think those areas have some padding due to the possibility to include some ads in those spaces. It looks like the height of the footer is hardcoded to be 1164×389. It is element ‘td-footer-wrapper td-footer-template-4’. You could change it in your style sheet.

2. How do I make the social icons in footer menu a bit bigger? And how do I make the hover colour on those icons a solid purple colour instead of the colours constantly changing?

The footer social media icons are designed to be 40×40. You’d have to change the styles too. Look at the following elements in your CSS: td-social-style-2 and td-icon-font. If you’re going to make several edits to the stylesheet, consider making a child theme.

3. Chris’s Pagespeed Custom Code no longer works (the one that you post at the end of the functions.php – will he be coming out with a new one that works with Newspaper 6?)

Have you upgraded to v6.1 of the theme?

4. How do I move the bottom share options (at the end of my posts), above my taboola advertisement so that they appear right at end of article?

Go to your dashboard. Theme Panel>Post Seetings>Sharing. You should see toggles to move the social sharing buttons.

5. Is there a code so that my custom ad 1 will appear underneath (or above) the author box?

I’m not sure if it always inserts it below ads. I think the author box is placed there via the posts template. You can attempt to mess with the posts templates to see if another one places the author box higher. Go to dashboard. Theme Panel>Post Settings>Default Post Template.
