The main menu flashes up then vanishes. So I cannot set any subscription settings. Has been like this since the installation.

Lead Emails – work
Lead Lists – work
Lockers – work

Subscriptions – nothing and cannot setup

256m memory limit. Ajax file is set to 660 in admin. But still nothing.

Any tips?

Hi,

We can look via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the wp-admin access, but please note that we will disable the extra plugins that are not tested with the theme to investigate. I think you don’t have enough WP-memory for all plugins you use, which is why the website is down.

Thank you!

Hello, isn’t that an “old” version?

Server Requirements for Newspaper WordPress Theme
WordPress 5.6 or greater
Apache or Nginx
php.ini memory limit: 40MB (recommended: 256M)
PHP version 7.4 or greater
MySQL version 5.0 or greater (recommended: MySQL 5.7 or greater)
The mod_rewrite Apache module (optional)

Should the theme not run flawlessly with a “newer” version?

Thanks for your help.

Hi

First, thank you for helping me.

Still no luck, it won’t work. Here are some config snippets taken from the tagdiv admin:

Theme config

Theme name: Newspaper
Theme version: 12.5
Theme database version: 12.5
HTTP channel test: wordpress
Installed demo: Downtown Magazine PRO – demo ID: downtown_pro | install type: no_content

php.ini configuration
Server software: Apache
PHP Version: 8.1.21-nfsn1
post_max_size: 50M
max_execution_time: 300
max_input_vars: 3000
SUHOSIN installed: false

WordPress and plugins

WP version: 6.3
WP multisite enabled: No
WP Language: fr_CA
WP Memory Limit: 256 Mo/request
WP_DEBUG: False
Caching plugin: No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache

Please note the caching plugin is super cache, but I disabled it following your recommendation

I don’t know what to do at this point.

Thank you for your help

After upgrade to 12.5, when I try to edit my front page using the composer I get this error

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 74317824) (tried to allocate 1835008 bytes) in /home1/euinfo/indeksinvest.dk/wp-includes/class-wpdb.php on line 2431

I have asked my hosts who replied: Rest assured, I have fixed the WordPress website issue by increased the memory_limit = 1024M in the user.ini file via File Manager and I recommend you to check the website from your end and confirm.

bit this has not fixed the issue. Any ideas?

Hello,

Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please double it and check the rest of the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ also make sure that you are using SSL and you have a good bandwidth, the one from our server is 1GB/s and the one that I use at home is 500MB/s, if you have low bandwidth, then you can access parts of the cloud, this can be done from the frontend, for example, if you are on a post -> https://i.imgur.com/4G74M7F.jpg or from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/2F6MhfI.png or from backend -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wekHmc7kJ8J

I continuously face this error “Invalid reply from server endpoint”.

Received reply from Calin one of your support team member.

Hi,
There are a few situations when this problem can appear, first is when the theme requirements are not set – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ (in special wp-memory-limit), also a situation is when the internet connection is to slow.
Please check those, I hope this will help you!
Thank you!

ALREADY UPDATE MY WP-MEMORY-LIMIT,

Regarding internet speed, I am using a 5G Internet Network which is not slow anymore in the world.

After checking all and setup all changes still facing the same issue.

I have the same issue too. I have entirely followed your guide regarding update php.ini .htacess and wp-config.php and nothing changed. I have even try to put twice more memory allowed (512 instead of 256) and still the same issue.

The problem doesn’t even come when trying to load all template. I’m trying to access it from where you advise it https://imgur.com/2F6MhfI

If you need to access my account, you already have all my credential by mail.

Likely reasons:
1) You have articles loading through AJAX on Flex Block 1 elements. Make sure to enable caching 5 minutes or longer on those blocks. It’s in the bottom of filter or layout or so.
2) Make sure to run an object caching plugin such as REDIS or MemCached. It will store all those expensive lookups on disk in memory instead.
3) Serve your site through a better protocol such as http/2 or QUIC. It will help get the data quicker to the audience.
4) Look at Google PageSpeed Insights on how to further improve your performance score.

Good luck

For information I have turned off the Theme Lazy Load https://app.screencast.com/5PZx1krACD8Gm, but the features video thumbnails are still not showing up.

I have also increased the memory limit to 512 Mo.

The memory limit is 256MB. The Max Execution time is 2000. And the max input vars is 5000. The PHP version is 8.1. I tried disabling every plugin except tagdiv composer and the problem persists.
