I also had this same problem.

I was able to get this resolved by creating a php.ini file using Notepad and adding these lines, then upload to the root directory of your WordPress install:

max_input_vars = 5000;
max_execution_time = 300;
post_max_size = 65M;

I’m using GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting and actually created both a php.ini file and a .user.ini file (make sure dot is in front of ‘user’) per GoDaddy recommendation with the same 3 lines above and uploaded both to the root. I then visited my site from my phone so that the server would update. I went back to my site and tried uploading and it worked.

Also see here about increasing memory limits to 64M in the wp-config file. You’ll need to do that too. There is a thread explaining how to do it but couldn’t find it immediately, just search this forum for it.

BTW – Adding the 3 lines of code to the htaccess file was also recommended on the same thread, but I searched elsewhere and it didn’t work for anyone which is why I ended up creating the new .ini files.

on wp-conig.php and we run website on our own dedicated server with 48G ram, still not helping

Ajax issue in latest versions of WordPress. We’ve seen this in different themes.

Make sure you increased the default memory allocated to WP in your config.php file. Seems to help. Make sure you’re not using any plugins which reload jquery when it’s already being loaded.

Try removing some stuff:
a) have only one related element item in sidebar
b) remove related posts from footer
c) turn off the “you might like …”
d) turn off the “related posts/ more from author”
e) use normal menu not mega-menu
f) try using normal blog roll home page temporarily
g) make sure you increased default memory for WordPress in your wp-config.php file

Good places to start to see what it might be.

Basically every “show me a list of blah …” is a dbase “query” … so cutting back on that to dial in what your server allows, is good practice.

I have been trying to solve since this early morning, but found no solution.

1. disabled all plugins one by one. The only active is your Td-speed booster because necessary
2. improved wp-config memory limit to 256M
3. checked server php error log for information but found only deprecated php notices and these:

There are no significant errors that could help.

White pages are very irregular so you can navigate without problems for a while and then get white pages!

The cache plugin generates static pages which are stored in the memory and when a user makes a request the pages are delivered from the cache. By this the php execution and the database requests are skipped. But a cache plugin don’t move the css/js resources in footer, you will have to do this manually using the Speed Booster plugin.

Okay. When I was using Cloudfront I had to set CORS rules on the bucket, if memory serves. It’s been over a year since I messed with that, sorry.

If your buckets are not via S3 .. not sure how that works.

In our case :: The solution is to get CORS working with Amazon S3, then to get Cloudfront to forward the appropriate headers.

There is also a CORS setting you can add with Amazon CDN if memory serves.

If you still get this behavior also test this by disabling all plugins and also empty all caches.

Thanks Catalin for your detailed answer. But it is very long way for create a menu item. I don’t want create a page and WP custom menu for each menu item. I must use Visual Composer for this. I don’t prefer using VC except homepage. Because VC eat my cpu and memory.

You need to add the memory limit change in your wp-config.php file, to raise it from the default 40MB which is done by WP.

The current version of Visual Composer available with the theme V 4.7.4 is tested and works fine. Please make sure you installed the plugin from the same path with the theme, clear all caches, deactivate all others plugins and test again. Well, thanks for your reply. But I do have few questions. Where can I find tagdiv speed booster plugin?

For image optimization, I’m already using WP Smush it plugin, is that okay?

Site’s WP Memory Limit is already more than 512 MB

And for minification, I installed Better WordPRess Minify plugin and it kind of.. broke down my site. So uninstalled it.
