Hi nwnuyhs,
The problem you reported has nothing to do with our server, believe me, the server is very powerful.
Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please double it and check the rest of settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ also make sure that you are using ssl and you have a good band width, the one from our server is 1GB/s and the one that I use at home is 500MB/s, if you have a low band width, then you can access parts of cloud, this can be done from frontent, for example if you are on a post -> https://i.imgur.com/4G74M7F.jpg or from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/2F6MhfI.png
I the problem is still persisting and you have a good band width, then we can take a look and see if there is not something different that interferes.
Thank you!

I was trying to switch one web to Newspaper theme and after activating td-composer got total crash with 500 Internal server error both front/back end. It is caused just by activating composer, disabling it fixes problem – but theme doesnt work ofc. Using latest version 11.3.2

Tried removing all other plugins to avoid possible conflicts, but situation remained same. Requirements for theme should be ok:
PHP Version 8.0.13
WP Memory Limit 256 MB
PHP Execution Time 300
PHP Max Input Vars 5000

Only problem is that WP doesnt have direct access to files and using ftpext, but didnt have any problems with that on my other websites run on same hosting. Only difference is that other sites have older PHP, here is new 8.0.13.

After activating WP Debug I got this message

Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: ftp_fget(): Argument #1 ($ftp) must be of type resource, null given in /var/www/mysite/www/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-ftpext.php:146 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-ftpext.php(146): ftp_fget() #1 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/plugins/class-tagdiv-theme-plugins-setup.php(342): WP_Filesystem_FTPext->get_contents() #2 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/plugins/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php(1977): tagdiv_theme_plugins_setup->theme_plugin_has_update() #3 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/plugins/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php(1836): TGM_Plugin_Activation->does_plugin_have_update() #4 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/plugins/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php(422): TGM_Plugin_Activation->is_tgmpa_complete() #5 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(303): TGM_Plugin_Activation->init() #6 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(327): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #7 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-includes/plugin.php(470): WP_Hook->do_action() #8 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-settings.php(578): do_action() #9 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-config.php(104): require_once(‘…’) #10 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘…’) #11 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-admin/admin.php(34): require_once(‘…’) #12 /var/www/mysite/www/wp-admin/plugins.php(10): require_once(‘…’) #13 {main} thrown in /var/www/mysite/www/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-ftpext.php on line 146

Hello @muktipolice!

Those codes you need to add in the required files: php.ini and .htaccess. Wp Memory Limit you set it great because it is a green color there. Please check the documentation for the Newsmag Theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ and for the future try to create the topic in the special field created for this theme.

If you can not manage to do that, then send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and Cpanel access, so we can help you to achieve the green color there too. Also paste a link to this topic so we can easily identify you.

Thank you!

Hi, I use the “Popup builder” plugin to build pages. With the previous wp theme I put popups in the menu and never had any problems. I bought the “newsmag theme” and some popup causes a memory request greater than 256M and the website doesn’t work. I believe there is incompatibility between the plugin and your theme. Can you recommend a popup plugin that would work for Newsmag?
Thanks,
Angelo

Hello,
I’ve been using TD builder with Newspaper for a year or so. Rebuilding the website now and finding that using TD builder is painfully slow. It takes forever, if it ever succeeds, to render a block or other element. To the point where I just give up and want to throw my laptop across the room. I edited the PHP settings for working memory, etc, to the max as recommended, but this has not appeared to change to situation. And neither does the internet speed. It’s the same with a 100MB connection and a 30MB DL speed.

Whats the deal here? It’s basically inoperable as is.

Best,
Ben.

Hello,

Please try to remove the Instagram, and deactivate/delete/install/activate the tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter, clear all cache, and connect the Instagram account again.
If the problem is not solved after, we have to investigate, because I did several tests, and I could not replicate this problem, in some users who had this problem, it was related to a memory cache, in others, we had to investigate more.

Thank you!

Hello,

Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, in config is WP_MEMORY_LIMIT not PHP Memory Limit if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please check the rest of the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps. Also please make sure there is no HTTPS issue in the system status screen of the theme panel.
The theme activation can also cause this to happen so please try to reset the theme activation and then activate it again using your envato purchase code https://tagdiv.com/how-to-activate-the-newspaper-theme/

Thank you!

Hi,
I did all this and it’s still the same. Clearing memory or uninstalling and reinstalling tagDiv Composer, including pausing or uninstalling (disabling the Autoptimize plugin), did not help. I have already written a support email. We can’t even set up Cloud Templates in two categories. So I don’t know where the mistake may be. I tried everything and unfortunately … nothing Thank you for the warning, I will write in English.

Hi,
Most of the time the message that you got is related to the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT, we recommend to be 256MB, but if you already have set it on 256 or greater, what you need to do is to double it.
Here is our guide for how to set the theme requirements -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
I hope this will help you!
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

The theme working with is Newspaper version 11.3.1 It checks the system status and says System Status

Hi, I changed the PHP values to memory_limit = 256
upload_max_size = 64M, post_max_size = 64M, upload_max_filesize = 64M, max_execution_time = 300, max_input_time = 1000

This time installation was attempted but failed and has come up with the following message:
Installing theme from uploaded file: themeforest-v9VKpuK1-newspaper.zip
Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme installation failed.

Hi

When trying to edit the frontpage of one of my Newspaper websites with the tagdiv builder the loading spinner spins endlessly and the page never shows up for editing.

Memory limit is as such, so thats probably not whats causing this.
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

Can you please help? I can provide login to admin if needed.

Hi, guys:
I have problems with the WP dashboard Pages functionality when I want to see all pages (I have 24 published and 12 drafts):
With all plugins deactivated (when the WP Pages problem doesn’t exist), upon activating plugins one by one:
1. Standard Pack activated – no problem
2. tagdiv composer activated – errors, Page in the WP dashboard present me with a fatal error that states there is not enough space on the server, which actually is.
3. After increasing Memory_limit in the php.ini file from 256MB to 2GB and
4. If I change the view number of pages to 12, for example, then it works, without any further problem from any of the plugins, all being activated.

I am wondering if there are any specific or more drastic requirements as far as memory is concerned, so I can see in my WP dashboard Pages as many as I want?

Many thanks,
Diana
