Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. I understand now but I also see minify options available on your install. Please disable any optimization plugin or tool used and disable all plugins except the page builder and clear cache afterwards.

Wp rocket is not a tested and recommended plugin especially the minify option.
The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:
Tested Plugins:
WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

I was able to figure out the issue. It was due to HTML and JS minify.

In our case we tend to manually un-enqueue the main CSS, move to footer, remove things like comments.js via functions.php hook/filter since we don’t use comments on our sites anymore, and use the ‘scripts to footer’ plugin to move .js to footer.
Main issues with speed are usually
a) image optimization
b) minify the main css and js when done messing with them
c) time to live, gzip settings
d) using PHP 5.6 and up with opcache — don’t use 5.2/5.3 and try moving on from 5.4 as all are end of life, and possibly no longer secure, and slloooooow with WP
e) limiting external calls – such as ping to FB/twitter for “number of likes/shares”
f) limiting number of ad units per page
g) consider removing all Google fonts and going with web-safe font stack; or limit to only ONE Google font family
(etc)
Don’t need to minify your scripts if you’re using pagespeed module. Disable minification and Rocket Loader from CloudFlare end.
Rocket loader blocks the Javascript by deferring them.

So, we just installed:

* Remove Query Strings From Static Resource
* Imagify
And the load is sightly better
May I have your opinion about also use some extra plugins like:

If i refresh again it work again :). Earlier i didnt have problem with this. It starts after last(?) update.
And second problem:
It is way to cover with image for example grid 3? Now it depends on image, if image cover the biggest box, then is problem with cover all box in others grid?
It’s OK. I rolled back an update and just imported my recent posts and images and it’s working again. Must of been a conflict with CSS Minify.. All OK now!

I have few common page speed issues on my website. I am using w3total cache plugin and tag-speed-booster plugin but still google page speed tool shows few problems like Leverage browser caching, Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content, Minify CSS, Enable compression, Minify JavaScript and Minify HTML.
So kindly guide me how to fix this issues with proper code.

You can learn to minify your main style.css using minification tools online. Google is a great resource for finding things. I use this : https://cssminifier.com/
And yes, if you use ANYTHING loaded externally, like Google Fonts, JetPack, social “likes numbers” on your page, weather widget, ad networks, etc. — all slow down your page as it has to “go fetch” stuff for page to load. So, choosing to NOT use Google fonts is one option.
Using fewer modules per page; meaning no more than 10 thumbnails on sidebar and footer COMBINED will speed things up a lot.
Per GTMetrix
1) optimize your images
2) Adding time to live settings for browser caching, for Woff/Woff2 to your htaccess file as mimetypes is advisable; the other items you can’t do much about as they are on other sites — and will impact your score
3) loading all those elements from Amazon ad services’ CDN is slowing you down
4) removing query strings is advisable
That stuff from share-a-sale is badly optimized.
Generally when setting up your site
* test without ads or external items to get ‘actual’ score for your post page
* then turn on ad systems and external stuff one by one until you can stomach how this affects your side adversely — your ad units are NOT part of the theme so you should complain to them about crappy optimization!

Hi guys,
I minified the theme’s style.css but didn’t minify the child theme’s style.css which contains almost nothing. Since then this last suggestion stopped working for some reason.
The following line of code is in my theme panel’s custom css field:
article.category-179 div.td-g-rec-id-content_inline {display: none !important;}
but the inline ad loads again.
Can a recent theme update be the reason for this to stop working? Any ideas?

Usually because if people need to modify the code in developing a website, it’s not readable once compressed.
However, what we do over here for our sites is use the Google recommend .js compression tool to minify the main .js file — remember you need to disable your caching, clear it, before swapping file otherwise you’re still loading old file even with new one in place.

but on google’s page speed(https://screenshot.net/8xgm2by, https://screenshot.net/xmj1vtx) tool it shows poor. How to fix that? Caching plugin will boost up speed for returning users only but for new users, it will take time to load the theme. How can I Minify CSS, javascript, HTML?
