- TutorialsWhat is Ajax preloading?
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for the code you provided.
.td-mobile-content .td-mobile-main-menu{
padding-bottom:80px;
}
Works even better to make the lowest menu point more visible. It helps for the moment but of course, it doesn’t stop the scrolling in background problem.
I think on “normal sites” this could be fixed with something like
overflow:scroll !important;
-webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;
but on AMP this is not working. Something for the programmers to look at for the next update.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-mobile-content .td-mobile-main-menu{
padding-bottom:50px;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
In our guide we mention that minification can be active in cloudflare and it should work
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
But there could be cases when it will cause problems. I checked the website on an android mobile device – http://prntscr.com/nle370 and the menu seems to work at the moment.
If activating the minification causes it, maybe you should keep that disabled. And maybe try other minification techniques if possible.
Thanks
Hi. I launched a site today with advertising and it looked perfect to me, but it became quickly apparent that the real mobile view is quite different. It seems to be showing the featured images of posts. My post don’t have any featured images to speak of. I had all my content on the homepage. But everybody is seeing this other view. I can’t find any way to bring up this view and fix it in newspaper or WordPress. I even hired somebody from codementor.io and he also failed to find any field or setting related to this…
Does anybody have any idea why this might happen? It seems to be redirecting to a category or to just all the post I guess (the same thing in my case – I just use post as menu items containing essays).
Hello !
It seems that your menu overlays the text. Try editing the overlay option using the tagDiv Composer like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/fBqqpghib and set it to default.
If the problem persists you can paste this code in your css editor and it should be working: body .td-header-mobile-wrap {
position: relative;
}
Thank you !

Hi,
I have checked your website on my mobile and the Menu seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/RPReplay_Final1557132698.mp4
Thank you!
when clicking from the mobile, the menu and the search do not work. The desktop version works without problems.
Hi, I’m using the latest versions of the theme/ plugins and get the following problem:
Video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t2myx8d9488p0vo/AMP%20Menu%20Bug.MP4?dl=0
Example: https://babynews.de/schwangerschaft/babynamen/marie-und-paul-sind-die-beliebtesten-babynamen-2018/?amp
1. On AMP-posts, the lowest link of the mobile menu is only hard reachable (condition: iPhone 8, Safari), the link sometimes is lower than the possibility to scroll. (Video sec. 1)
2. Scrolling often doesn’t work, instead of scrolling down the menu, the site in the background scrolls. (Rest of the video from sec. 2)
I created a custom header and everything works fine, accept for on mobile (portrait mode). For some reason all the content of a post/page snaps to the top under the header when on mobile (portrait mode). On the link below you can see what I mean.
https://vimeo.com/user33093694/review/334304796/5c2d5c9615
Changing the row’s margin doesn’t have any effect on the post’s content. It looks like the menu becomes an overlay header with the content of the page/post simply “snapping” to the top of the browser. Also when I make the header much larger as a test, the content stays in the same location (snapped to the top) and the bigger header simply hides more of the page/post. First I thought maybe it was because I hid the breadcrumbs of the post with custom css, but the problem persists and is exactly the same even when I remove that custom css.
It’s just my custom header with this problem, the header templates in the Theme Panel work fine.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
Thanks!
Hey team! I am facing an issue with the mobile theme of my website. The links in the footer menu like About us & Contact Us don’t see to work properly while the same is completely fine on desktop. Please help!
Theres no amphtml link generated, no amp specific markup generated, my WordPress menus don’t even have an “AMP” section, except under Appearance, which just takes me to the “Customizer”
Is there some settings somewhere? Maybe I’m misunderstanding how this plugin works?
Screenshot of plugin installation proof (and that my theme was designed to work with this plugin)
https://prnt.sc/nkjfs7
Screenshot of Newspaper theme AMP / Mobile settings:
https://prnt.sc/nkjfwe
Screenshot of missing “AMP” main menu area (it’s buried under appearance?)
https://prnt.sc/nkjl6g
Screenshot of where it takes me after clicking the Appearance > AMP link
https://prnt.sc/nkjlf3
Screenshot where my post doesn’t even have an Enable AMP option
https://prnt.sc/nkjm5v
And viewing the page linked (https://techly.io/google-search-console-star-wars-mode/) shows no actual AMP code anywhere.
The Google AMP validator says it is not an AMP validated page: https://search.google.com/test/amp?id=fdtYPL82HpGxANDR2pZEgw
The Google AMP validator says the pages /?amp counterpart isn’t even a valid AMP page:
https://search.google.com/test/amp?id=HQiJNLtn-WFlH-enFxFO6w
I’m using WordPress version 5.1.1, Newspaper 9.7.1, and AMP 1.1.1
On my site AMP is woring only, when I diable “tagDiv Mobile Theme”.
When this Mobile Theme is active, AMP is dissapering from side menu and stops working…
Hi,
You can use the header manager and make a menu for both versions ( desktop and mobile ), most of users that have this problem use the mobile menu for both versions.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please don’t bump the topic, this will only delay the response from our part. It will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we reply from oldest to newest at all times.
I have tested the website with a mobile, for me it works in the homepage
– http://prntscr.com/njg0y8 – http://prntscr.com/njg11u
The menu modal opens when I click on the menu button. Should work the same for you. If I misunderstand please let me know and I will check again.
Thanks
May I know which is the most recommended setting?
“Mobile + AMP” or “AMP” only?
Is there any possible way to add a logo on the mobile theme menu?
such as this -> https://prnt.sc/njdh51
Hi
your theme contains a double menu in his code. I think one is for mobile and the other one for the desktop.
So, robots like googlbot see a double menu when it crawls our menu. So it crawls dobble links, its not seo friendly for my SEO and the crawl budget for Google.
How i can fix it?
Thanks
I submitted another issue, but it seems to never get a response.
When Mobile Plugin + WordPress AMP plugin are turned on, the menu doesn’t render on pages, only on category pages.
Example pages where it doesn’t work:
https://techly.io/
https://techly.io/contact-ui
Example pages where it does work:
https://techly.io/featured
https://techly.io/desktops/
When on mobile, and on a page (instead of category), it just does this weird zoom out thing:
Hi,
You are using an older theme version, with the old AMP plugin, since theme update 9.6 this plugin is not provided anymore – http://prntscr.com/niojkx
The header when using the old AMP plugin will display the logo set in the theme panel
– http://prntscr.com/niokz7
There will be no menu displayed in this case.
Now the official AMP plugin can be used, together with the mobile theme plugin
– https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello,
I tried to do as you showed me on the screenshot. But now I don’t have an image anymore on the mobile menu.
https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2019/18/2/1556626174-racelabproblem.png
I’m using the mobile theme, maybe it’s the reason?
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
You can make a test on fresh install or on a cop[y of your live website, deactivate all non theme plugins and check the mobile menu ( deactivate the cache plugin too ).
Thank you!
Hi,
1. That is the case at the moment. A cloud header can be used per category (a cloud category template is needed) but the posts that belong to that category won’t inherit the header. Post pages will use the general header set in the theme panel, or the one set in the cloud post template they use.
There could be a setting added in the future, so that a post template can be set for posts belonging to a category, maybe a header as well, can’t say for sure what will happen.
2. A different logo can be set for mobile, just switch to the phone viewport
– http://prntscr.com/nikaxd and click on the logo or add a logo element if there is none
– http://prntscr.com/nikbi9 – http://prntscr.com/nikbcd
3. On tablet it looks like this – http://prntscr.com/nikcz8 If there is not enough space the menu items will fall to a second row. You could try and reduce the space between the menu items on tablet – http://prntscr.com/nikdqr or even decrease the font size
– http://prntscr.com/nike6q
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello !
I have checked your website and the mobile menu is working fine. . Please provide more information if you’re still facing this issue ! https://www.screencast.com/t/nmNoG1XBN
Thank you !
I downloaded header template 34 in cloud and enabled sticky menu.
However, the sticky menu still works on web and mobile.
You can check how sticky work in my web site

This is what I did on header manager(image capture)

Hi friends,
I would like the submenus to be always open in the mobile view. Not click to open. Always open. 🙂 What should I do?
For example: http://nanaointergate.com/newspaper/submenu.png
Thank you so much for reply!
Have a nice day 🙂
