I would want a responsible reply from your end on this matter. According to Google Analytics, 12 % of my total readers use Mozilla Firefox (mobile and desktop users included). You should have a fail-safe menu option which would work well in browsers that aren’t advanced as Google Chrome is. If Mozilla firefox would have been a browser like IE, I could have agreed to your point. But, there are a lot of Mozilla Firefox users which has a significant importance yet until now. Think about that before advancing on the designing schemes!
I’ve enabled WebP image support on my site. But, I haven’t completely converted all the images to WebP. Only, google chrome users would see the image load on WEbP format, but others would see the original JPEG/PNG format. Similarly, you’ll have to consider adding an intelligent support for menu on Firefox or similar so-called unsupported browser.
Hi,
The image that cannot be foundis the mobile menu background that is also used on the search for mobile: http://screencast.com/t/Jug2oVdTPEk
Please change this image in the theme panel.
As for the bbprtess and woocommerce css these inluine styles were added as there are thme elements such as colors or hover effects that were designed to also affect woocommerce and bbpress. The theme general style will be applied to these plugins as well so the code for them was added inline to the theme code. There is no easy way to remove these parts of the code unfortunately.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hi
Thank you for your generous thoughts and your review! Weâre glad you like our theme. We invest a great amount of time and effort to create and permanently develop and improve our themes. This is why we truly appreciate your feedback.
I’ve checked your site and the theme works fine on mobile. The blue background covers all page when menu icon or search button it’s clicked: http://screencast.com/t/JhlfrzvLLFG However when the menu it’s closed the background disappear and the page content it’s displayed.
Make sure that you’re using one of the browsers indicated here: http://screencast.com/t/vZR0udhd to access the site. The theme is tested only with these browsers and if you’re using a different one we can’t guarantee that it will work fine.
Thanks!
Hi,
after upgrading Newspaper to 7.1.1 I’m having troubles with the Mobile Theme plugin.
On mobile devices, I get this error :
wp booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_remote_cache is not set.wp booster error:
Missing parameter: ‘file’
Fatal error: Class ‘td_remote_cache’ not found in /web/htdocs/www.sipuglia.net/home/site/wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/td_social_api.php on line 48
If I disable the Mobile Theme everything works fine, but I can’t edit colors and other functions on mobile devices.
I’ve tried to uninstall Newspaper theme and all the plugins via FTP but cannot resolve this.
Can you help me ?
Thanks
Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed that don’t have any navigation links set on main category items, that’s why on mobile they don’t link anywhere. You have to set a navigation link for menu items displayed on mobile otherwise they will be inactive. You can use any category as mega menu item, it does not matter if have or not a subcategory.
Thanks!
Hi, (re: NewsMag theme)
If you setup your main menu structure with Custom Links and use the “make this a category mega menu” option, then a category that does not have any sub-categories is not selectable using the mobile menu. I thought you could have a category as a mega-menu that does not have any sub-categories? What is the workaround for this?
See: http://181.224.138.121/~signalko/ under IOS (Safari browser)
Uploaded Image, set the settings how I wanted them. Tested and was not able to see my image in the mobile menu.

how to fix?
Hello,
I was reviewing the mozilla firefox and tried browsing my own site https://www.techlegends.in
The mobile menu seems unresponsive, instead when the close windows icon is clicked. The advertisement behind the menu window gets clicked.
It’s not just for my site. I’ve tested several sites from the showcase lists. All happen to encounter the same problem when viewed from Mozilla Firefox mobile browser (Android). Even if it accidently somehow closes, the mobile menu experience is too bad when viewed from firefox for Android.
Hi,
1) The child theme needs to be re-created as well when switcvhing to newspaper 7. Please use the one provided with our theme and make sure you clear all caches whether it’s from a plugin, hosting or cdn as we have seen many reports of this double menu being caused by the old style.css from newspaper 6 being fed from cache.
2) The new mobile menu colors can be customized from here: http://screencast.com/t/VVbRzHbL0C
Note that if you use the new mobile theme, colors or other settings are done exclusively from the new mobile theme options panel here: http://screencast.com/t/J4qUVyUFVd3
As for the thick line, I tested our mobile theme on many devices that use ios but I could not find any lines. Please also test our demo on your device:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi, thanks for your quick response.
After 6 days we already have dozens of complaints. All users with a Samsung device đ
The problem occurs on all kind of Samsung devices. We tested it with real phones (see schreenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/3RnfqtrO). Firefox and Chrome are doing well. But the default browser of Samsung not. During loading the page it seems to be going well. When the browser is finished loading, the blue background screen of the mobile menu appears without the menu-options. It also happened to the demo site http://www.screencast.com/t/n3by58BHN.
What have we done:
– Internet history removed
– CloudFlare disabled
– All cache disabled
– Theme reinstalled
– Server reboot
– Custom code removed
– Ads removed
– Mobile logo removed
All these actions had no effect. The blue screen again returns. Hopefully you can do anything with this information.
Hello! Just updated to the latest version (from 6 > 7). Most things seems to be working fine except from the Child Theme.
1. If i upload the child theme as it is (with only style.css and functions.php) the site gets an extra menu (just like in this post) and I get a double logo + some more small issues. Have tried disabeling my plugins to check if any of them is causing the issue, but it seems weird since no files are actually changed. Only thing happened is the child theme being loaded.
2. I was also wondering about the new mobile-menu. Is there any way to change the colors or anything with it? I also have an issue when using iOS that the X up in the right corner gets a thick white line behind it (imagine a .gif or .png image that is supposed to be transparent but isnt).
Hi,
The mobile theme offers 2 new menu options so you can change the menus for mobile from here: http://screencast.com/t/hNRDEuzKVk
If your pages are not created in the mobile editor, then there will be nothing to show. Please read this guide to learn how the mobile theme displays content: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Several visitors complain about the mobile menu. They only see a bluescreen. It is the background of the mobile menu. The rest of the website they do not see.
The strange thing is that all the complaining users use a Samsung device. The problem started after updating to 3.0. Other users (with an iPhone or other brand phones) have no problems.
We tested the site with Browserstack.com. The test with the Samsung Galaxy S4 (portrait) shows the problem: https://www.browserstack.com/screenshots/826be808683142db770c44de08df30840e2a3874
If we test http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ with Browserstack.com we see the issue also in the Samsung Galaxy S4. https://www.browserstack.com/screenshots/d2b36f4c83ab68c37ea4621e97daf65b4a5fa175
Hopefully you have a solution. Thanks in advance!

Hi,
If you do not use the mobile theme, here is no setting for changing the menu for mobile as there is no difference between the mobile and desktop site. It is the same version in responsiveness mode. Our theme has no such option.
Thanks.
I’m not exactly sure what’s happening, but after the latest update (V3.0) the desktop and tablet versions of our site seem stuck in mobile mode. The navigation menu is expanded and users have to scroll though that menu to get to the main splash page. Any guidance on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciate.
Here is our site address: http://www.alaskacommons.com/
Thank you for your help.
Hey,
Just purchased the theme which looks fabulous, but on my site beardresource.com, when you look at the menu on mobile (at least this happens on my iPhone 6S Plus on Chrome), the toggle on the left for expanding the menu is not on the menu but just underneath it, and due to being white it barely shows.
How to fix this? I want that toggle back in line with the logo and search icon.
Hello again…
