Hi tagdiv team,
on my site the Mobile Theme is active.
When I test the site on a smartphone, I notice that the pagination does not work.
On the following page it says: “There was a critical error on your website”(Es gab einen kritischen Fehler auf deiner Website).
Can you help me with the troubleshooting.

Kind Regards
Axel

Hi,
I just made some tests and for me is working correctly -> https://i.imgur.com/4OFIyrh.png can you please make some tests ? please try to make a new mobile page and see if you can edit it. Also if you try to edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer is working?
For users that have the revolution slider, the problem can be solved by deleting the tagDiv Composer and reinstall it from Newspaper > plugins.
If the problem is still persisting, make a test only with theme plugins and make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict and you have the latest theme and WordPress updates.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hi, curious if this happens? I updated the Newspaper theme and my tagDiv Mobile Theme suddenly disappeared. I have to reinstall and redo all the settings. Does this happen to anyone else?

Hello,

Usually, this problem when the mobile version is displaying on the desktop, the plugin for the cache that you are using don’t recognize mobile theme plugins and mobile pages, and display it, on the desktop. We recommend using the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please asks your host if a cache plugin is enabled.

To better understand the problems you have, please provide us with as much information/details as possible, with screenshots and a link to your website.

Thank you!

Hello, my website: https://minecraftsketchbros.eu. I setup an AMP + Mobile theme yesterday and I’ve got a problem, if you go to my website: https://minecraftsketchbros.eu on mobile, it will redirect you to https://minecraftsketchbros.eu/?amp=1 if you scroll down or click on something. How can I get rid of it? Thank you!

Hello,

Please check if you have enabled the mobile theme on the homepage => https://www.screencast.com/t/4Fxt4Wcc and you have set the AMP on page => https://www.screencast.com/t/4ggLADA7uq2Y

Hello!

1. In the TagDiv Composer, you can choose which menu you want to display. In the theme panel, you can choose the template you want for your categories and posts also.

2. You need to assign for each page, a mobile page.
Let me explain which options you have:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

I’m also having an issue with mobile-friendly pages and it’s killing my SEO.

The issue started around May 4, there were 1,382 mobile-friendly pages on that day, then suddenly the number plummeted to now only 198 mobile-friendly pages. I’ve been using the tagDiv mobile theme plugin for the Newspaper theme. My website is TheAEGISAlliance.com … Even though my site loads fast on mobile and the mobile version shows up, Google Search Console doesn’t think so. I don’t use AMP and that’s never been an issue with mobile-friendly pages before now.

Problem started on May 4

Hi,
The Core Web Vitals is apply on all devices, (desktop, mobile, amp), usually, the fervent problems are on mobile and desktop, the amp version most of the time do don’t have problems because is a quick preview from google (it is not actually on your website).
And yes, you can achieve it without amp plugin, all you need to do is to optimize your website.

Hi,
Normally, if you have set the amp + mobile, just make sure that you have set in amp plugin all elements that you want to be amp -> https://i.imgur.com/5MPyjE6.png also make sure that the the mobile theme is not disable on main page -> https://i.imgur.com/tWnjZTf.png
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
Please let me know if I understand correctly, we are no longer using cache or you are using cache plugin?
Also I do not see to have the mobile theme plugin activated and if you use it and you use a cache plugin, then you need to check to see if the cache plugin has support for mobile theme.
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!
Thank you!

Hello,

The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple), so can improve your page speed.
The mobile editor can be found at the bottom of every page when editing https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Regarding the AMP, this is the opinion of my colleague, but there is currently no official announcement.

Thank you!

Hi all, there are several problems with this Newspaper 11

First of them is this:
I have “menu 1” and “menu 2”.
I have set in mobile settings “menu 1” for all the site, but in some post and in some category the “menu 2” appears instead of “menu 1″… I went in Theme panel under Category settings, there I have all the same settings for all categories. Moreover, I have the same template for all posts…

You can see the test where I’m working on, navigate with smartphone please:

Problem #2
I have set a mobile homepage, but it doesn’t work. I can edit it with tagdiv composer and I can see it in tagdiv composer, but it doesn’t appear in mobile frontend. I can only see the desktop homepage.

There is an error in the mobile theme. PC is normal. When caching is complete, it will be inverted. If the mobile frame is OK, the PC theme changes to Mobile.

Thank you, Vlad. As for the plugins you ask, I am using tagdiv Composer, tagdiv Cloud Library, tagdiv Social Counter – which I deactivated and activated again now – and tagdiv Standard Pack.
I stopped using tagdiv Mobile theme plugin and instead use a mobile only template. I don’t use anymore Official AMP for WP and Tagdiv newsletter.
I must also say that to complicate matters the site breaks in mobile in ways I don’t understand of find the logic of.
On top of that I initially updated to WP 5.8 and Newspaper 11.1 but then downgraded to 5.7 and 11.
Hope this answers your question.

Hi Dear!

Just 2 questions:

(i) By mobile template, do you mean choosing your mobile theme plugin: and

(ii) Has not Google been recommending AMP.

Thanks & Regards….. Renu Bakshi

Description

I updated to WP 5.8 and then Newspaper theme 11.1. Error on front page that only affects logged-in users. (see image)

Disabled caching and checked Newspaper Theme Status – no problem. Also deactivated non-essential plugins.

Deleted and reinstalled & reactivated plugins: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Mobile Theme and Official AMP for WP. Problem persists.

Hello,

So I understand that you had mobile theme activated, and you deactivated it but it still appears, right?
Please make sure you clear all cache (also, the browser cache).
Also, if you create a mobile page, please make sure you assign it like this https://www.screencast.com/t/lektAhyjd
Also, please provide screenshots or the link to your website.

Thank you!
