Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin with amp, please make sure that you have set on amp this option -> https://i.imgur.com/YvRA4qJ.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you are using the responsive version and not the mobile theme plugin, in this way there should be no problems on mobile.
If there are still some problems, please provide me a link where I can check this situation.
Thank you!
Catlin,
I decided to use the responsive version to keep it just like my desktop. (Less complicated). I believe I followed the instructions provided e.g.
1. disable the mobile theme plugin,
2. amp disabled,
3. In Mobil settings, do I enable or disable the Mobil Theme? I have it Enabled but my mobil theme does not display correctly. ???? Can U check with my credentials I sent you under jorgevila550@gmail.com
Thanks
Hello !
This is how the responsive option https://www.screencast.com/t/tbXrh5z1 looks on your website. The mobile theme is being displayed correctly.
Thank you !
Hello !
This seems to be a caching issue since on your website at the moment is displayed the mobile theme. Please follow our guide and make sure that WP Super Cache has been installed properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Let us know the result.
Thank you !
Dear Vlad,
Thanks for helping out. I have already deactivated the mobile theme for this page.
The issue is that the menu is now different to all my other pages. As you can see in the screenshot you sent (https://www.screencast.com/t/Rjqpn6AtGAG6) every category under each primary section (i.e. Politics & News) has been duplicated. Furthermore, if you look at the original menu (https://www.screencast.com/t/G8XddqUyuZ) The colour is now different (it’s no longer yellow).
Lastly, the footer that you can see in your screenshot (https://www.screencast.com/t/vtPA79y8y2l) is different to the one we have on every other page (https://www.screencast.com/t/EtQg1okYLeZD).
I want to deactivate the mobile theme on each gallery page but keep the same footer and menu system as the rest of our mobile theme ready pages. Does that make sense?
Thanks for all your help.
All the best,
Greg
Hello !
Simply go into the plugins page and deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin: https://www.screencast.com/t/t5CDAEbJjhY
You are seeing it ok. That is how you see the responsive mode in tagDiv Composer and edit it.
Thank you !
Hello !
1. You can choose to deactivate the mobile theme on pages: https://www.screencast.com/t/Cs47bzb5
As you can see here this is how we see the mobile menu and the mobile theme: https://www.screencast.com/t/Rjqpn6AtGAG6 ; https://www.screencast.com/t/FEckR81WBa0 ; https://www.screencast.com/t/vtPA79y8y2l
Let me know what should be wrong.
Thank you !
Yes,
For the mobile theme:
// Preload Newspaper fonts for mobile theme
function dns_prefetch_mobile() {
echo “<link href=’https://lowtechnation.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.woff?10′ rel=’preload’ as=’font’ type=’font/woff’ crossorigin>”;
}
add_action( ‘wp_head’, ‘dns_prefetch_mobile’, 0 );
Add this to mobile theme’s functions.php file.
You can read this guide for more optimizations: https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Hi,
1. The responsive version has all the desktop elements, but the sidebar will be set under the main content, but now there are options on row and columns that you can invert the order of columns and rows to can set as you like on mobile, here is a quick guide -> https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/ also here is a similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/reverse-columns-on-mobile/
2. For the moment this is faster then responsive version, but now we work to a better version for mobile, a version where you can set your content using tagDiv Composer, this was added in this update and the featured is quite new, it will be add to it a lot of options and you can do a different without affecting the desktop and keep a nice layout, if you want you can test it, here is a quick guide of it -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. They can do this only if they use the option from there mobiles to see the desktop version, or if you are use the responsive version or new mobile page from this update.
Hope this will help!
Thank you!
Hi,
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ho41rUl.png and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Thank you!
Every time I activate AMP, mobile version is always appearing error codes.
How to solve it.
Hello
I currently use the Newspaper theme
I have installed the Polylang plugin
When using with a computer, it is very good to switch to another language.
But when using a mobile phone, when the language is switched, the menu part cannot change the language.
Please help me.
So now I defined a new index mobile page
and I have also the option
SELECT MOBILE THEME FOR:
Select the option according to the desired behavior
– mobile
– mobile amp
– amp
which option should I choose?
To understand this if I have a special index mobile page than I choose
amp ?
so simple design will be shown at small devices?
Hey Vlad,
Sorry because I didn’t quite understand how can I “Deactivate the mobile theme”, after all I’m not using any mobile theme on my WordPress or do you mean the new one from tagDiv that brought the “Mobile Page” update, if so where can I do this?
Update: Now I am able to use my responsive mode back again (was some configuration inside my Ad Inserter PRO plugin), but the problem now is, when I am inside the TagDiv Composer and change between devices view, if I didn’t reload the page then I wouldn’t be able to enter in the mobile version of my website, and if I do reload, I exit the TagDiv Composer (see video: https://streamable.com/14b9t1)
Do you imagine a way out of this, to be able to edit the mobile version of my website through TagDiv Composer?
Hello Vlad,
did you even read my Post?
I posted the link to the website.
The content of pages is now displayed – Thanks
The font is still “Roboto”, although I set it correctly in the mobile theme settings – I even attached a screenshot
AdSense advertisement is not displayed

Hello !
If you remove the mobile template your desktop template will not be affected. Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you !
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
Please note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2

Hi Cailin,
you’re right! Thankyou! Now everything works.
There are only two things, that I need to change, and I cannot figure out where I can modify that:
1- we changed, one month ago, the stars https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-review-points-range/ and after updating the theme I redid those settings, but this time the setting is only good for the post, It display the stars in the popular post in the sidebar. How can I change it?
2- in the mobile version, I want to change the footer information, I would like the same footer that I set in the mobile desktop, how can I do it?
Thank you

@amit Do I have to specify “?19” after newspaper.woff
What is the difference between newspaper.woff and newspapaper-icons.woff ?
and for mobile theme ? Which code do I have to add to mobile function.php ?
Thank you
Okay found the solution disabling page by page the mobile theme
was a bit confusing as i was migrating from another theme
ticket solved,thanks
Ps. i notice that if i add content into the mobile page editor it appears
https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
as the content of the desktop edition is plain gutenberg, there’s a setting or a quick fix to just use desktop over mobile?
Everything was solved by the support!!!
I am very happy.
One conflict with an existing plugin and Gutenberg and mobile theme
Hi, @gumball44
Use this code for the main theme (This will not work with the mobile theme plugin)
// Preload Newspaper fonts for responsive theme (main theme)
function dns_prefetch_responsive() {
echo "<link href='https://lowtechnation.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/newspaper.woff?19' rel='preload' as='font' type='font/woff' crossorigin>";
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'dns_prefetch_responsive', 0 );
I Hope, you will find this helpful.
