Not sure if its just my site but I’ve come across an issue.
When on mobile and using search, clicking on any of the articles shows them in desktop view instead of mobile.
Hi,
I notice in every post of my website in the mobile version the following:
Comments: there is an additional field for “website”to complete, apart from Comment, Name, E mail and the botton”Post Comment”
I want to eliminate the field “website”.
It is only shown in the mobile version.
Teh website is: http://www.idosier.com, pls check it and let me know how.
Thanks!
Laura
Hi,
Please try and deactivate the child theme, and check if the mobile theme is working properly. If it does maybe you have code in the child theme that is somehow interfering with the mobile theme. In that case you need to verify the code that you have in the child theme files.
Here you can find a guide about creating a child theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
This could also be caused by a plugin, you could try to deactivate all your plugins except Visual composer and the mobile theme, clear any caching installed then check again to see if it has any effect.
Also make sure you are using the latest version of the plugins bundled in the theme package.
If you could provide a link to your website, we will inspect it and try to identify a cause.
Thanks
Hi.
I have created a child theme and the mobile version is not working.
I get this message in the WP admin:
The TagDiv Mobile Theme is not supported by the current activated theme. Please update your theme!
File message: wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/td-mobile-plugin.php
and this in the public site version (mobile):
The mobile theme path couldn’t be set. Please check if you already have another mobile theme plugin active and disable it (ex. Jetpack Mobile Theme or similar). If you use a cache plugin clear it before checking the results.
How can i enable the Mobile theme in the Chil theme?
Thnx in advance
Hi,
The Big grids are displaying properly, but I cannot seem to figure out what is wrong with the rest of the page.
I suggest you disable all your plugins except Visual composer and the mobile theme if you have it active, clear your cache then check to see if the blocks are displaying properly. Try editing your page, remove and then reset these blocks on the page. Please also make sure you are using the latest Visual composer provided with the theme as well as the mobile theme plugin, which you could uninstall and upload again to see if the problem is fixed.
Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Hello yukiy531,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the fonts only for mobile mode, sorry! The font settings are general for the entire website. So, if you want to have another post title size for mobile, you should use a bit of CSS code to do this. If you need some assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate code.
Thanks for the message!
Hi, thanks for the code it’s works fine.
That is weir I’ve never had problem like this – with the mobile theme. Anyway I deleted the cache plugin and installed the WP super cache and updated Visual Composer as well.
All was fine the whole evening but this morning I refreshed the page and I can see the big grids alright but rest is in mobile version.
I turned off the – mobile theme yesterday to compare what will be better for me as a mobile version (responsible version or mobile theme). Now I reinstall the mobile plugin and it doesnt help.
Hi,
Hi,
If you have the mobile theme activated, then this will display predefined templates for the page, post, category etc. The style On the homepage for example it will display a Big grid on top that will show posts from the featured category, so you need to have posts in this category in order for it to appear. After the Big grid there will be a Latest articles section. Content for the pages on mobile has to be inserted in the same page edit screen as you would on desktop, but in the Mobile editor – https://www.screencast.com/t/B0J2G8Kr7Oh
More information about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Please note that this plugin is optional, you can choose not to use it. Then the same content that you have on desktop will be displayed on mobile as well. The theme has a fully responsive design and will adapt the content every screen size.
Thanks
Hello,
Apart from visual composer, all of the other plugins are optional. You do not have to use them if you do not want to. They are optional and not required for the theme to function properly.
For the mobile theme please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks.
The same applies to the big grid. If you want to have the same layout as on desktop, please disable the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
I want to add the same look to mobile theme as theme setting shown on pc but when i apply mobile theme initially grid section comes right but below that it showing latest articles one by one. But I want same look on mobile as its on pc with mobile theme.
So please suggest me what should I edit?
My mobile theme plugin has some posts defaulting back to the responsive design of desktop site and some going to plugin version. I found similar post but don’t understand what to do
Hi, I’m optimizing my website (with newspaper installed )to get as few plugins as possible..
As newspaper plugin I have :
1.Slider Revolution
2.tagDiv Mobile Theme
3.WPBakery Visual Composer
4.tagDiv Speed Booster
Visual Composer is required to edit the pages and it’s ok
tagDiv Speed Booster it’s ok
Slider Revolution : can I delete it? Or is it necessary for the theme to function properly? (as for example Visual Composer) ?
instead for tagDiv Mobile Theme which is the difference with the basic mobile theme (already responsive) only aesthetic? or other?
thanks
I’m getting error on mobile version on my home page
tagdiv_theme.js:23 Cannot read property ‘replace’ of undefined

pls help.
Hi, i use AD Rotate but this is not important.
For every AD is use a desktop and mobile version and i have 2 size of banner:
– desktop 728×90 and mobile 468×60 mobile
– desktop 1070×100 and mobile 468×60 mobile (this only in the pages).
I try to place this code that i find in the theme but i do not see the AD in smartphone portrait.
How to solve?
<div class="td-visible-desktop">
<a href=""><img src="/wp-content/uploads/banner.png" alt="banner" height="90" width="728" /></a>
</div>
<div class="td-visible-tablet-portrait">
<a href=""><img src="/wp-content/uploads/banner_mobile.png" alt="banner" height="60" width="468" /></a>
</div>
Hello,
1. Sorry but the mobile theme homepage layout is predefined and cannot be changed. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Block 15 is the only block in our theme that can show 2 posts on 1 column on a mobile device layout: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-15/
But unfortunately the mobile theme does not use visual composer so it is not possible through the mobile theme plugin.
2.Sorry but our theme does not have this kind of feature.
Thanks.
Hi,
I am very happy with newspaper theme, also love mobile plugin. There is any way to change mobile themes layout like this without change desk top home page ?
https://www.screencast.com/t/wrOuFaJLe
2. Any way to select “next post” finger sliding option from left to right.??
php version 7 update in server, admin panel show below error, and some portion design broken but front look is ok please give me solution
the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; WPAlchemy_MetaBox has a deprecated constructor in /home/mobilesf/public_html/wp-content/themes/mobileblog/includes/wp_booster/wp-admin/external/wpalchemy/MetaBox.php on line 58
Hi,
You could try to add that code in this file – https://www.screencast.com/t/wHvfKgGu
But I could not say if your plugin will work or not. Maybe it is simply not compatible with the theme or with another plugin. You could always search for other plugins with that kind of capabilities and see if they work properly.
For the scroll up button while using the mobile theme, you can try this code
.td-scroll-up {
display: none;
}
The code must be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom Css
Thanks
Hello eddieor,
As you can see, the mobile theme uses the td_block_big_grid_mob_1 to display the posts for the homepage, sorted by Latest, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OZlWE23WmtT By default, the limit of these posts are three and if you want to increase them, you should edit the theme core file which handles this limit and change it with your desire, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hnppCid9
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
You seem to use the mobile theme plugin, that is why the content on your homepage is not the same: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to have the same content on your mobile device as the desktop version please disable the mobile theme plugin. I could not see any issue when refreshing but if you simply resize the browser and refresh you will see 2 versions, yes because the mobile theme will kick in but you have to test on the mobile device itself not on your desktop pc by resizing the browser window.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have problem in my mobile theme in http://www.kampbros.com. I saw my mobile theme stle in my posts but i didn’t saw it in homepage. How can i fix it ? (I using Wp Super Cache plugin.)
Is there a code that removes the back to the top button on the lower right corner of the mobile theme.
Hey everyone, just purchased this theme and I’m loving it.
However, I’m having an issue with the mobile version of the same post.
The post I’m speaking of is this : https://nasilemaktech.com/2016/12/13/review-new-wd-book-2016/
For reference, these are the two different versions I’m speaking of : http://imgur.com/a/Y09LE
I manage to get two different versions of the same post by simply refreshing. Any advise on which is supposed to appear on mobile, and how to make it consistently only show one version?
Also, sometimes the BIG GRID on my homepage (www.nasilemaktech.com) doesn’t appear on mobile. Any advise on how to fix this too?
Thanks.
LOL…i know that…been working with WP long time. even if I add more posts in featured category…it seems the mobile theme only show top 3 posts.
