Hello vamsinani24,
Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme has been tested with the multipurpose plugins and works as expected, without any problems. Try to disable all of the untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Also, make sure that your theme has been updated if you want to achieve best theme results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Currently I just added a page called Featured with all the recent posts. Having no mega menu show up correctly on mobile is a bad thing. I would be great if we could not show the mega menu on mobile and just have regular drop down items. I believe it works on other themes on mobile as a drop down menu of pages.
Can we disable a menu item on mobile? The mega menu.
Thanks
Thanks for the response.
One solution would be to change the main header background to white on mobile, and hide the mobile menu, and create buttons or boxes to assist with navigation to other pages. I like the block with the ability to scroll posts on mobile like a slideshow. I really do not like the mobile plugin, and seems more work than it is worth. I would like to here success stories with it.
Still not seeing the message “add to the mega menu” like in this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
The team member link and adding links in the description with the html code is helpful! They should add the ability to upload your own custom icon with links in the future.
Thanks!
Hello bdundar,
Unfortunately, the Newsmag does not contain the Mobile Theme plugin, sorry! This functionality is available only for Newspaper.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
A specific option to filter the top mobile grid, is not available at the moment. This change will have to be made in the code, this is a similar topic

Thanks
Hi,
1. On mobile, mega-menus will not be displayed. The mobile menu is limited to drop-down style. Some of the menu items in the header menu do not link anywhere on desktop and on mobile. If these are categories please re-add them in the menu as categories
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VbJqb7X7
If they are custom links add a link to them
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wGu51kcH2LBY
So they would lead somewhere on the website. Regardless of mobile plugin used or not, the mobile menu will still look the same in design. A difference would be that if the mobile plugin is used, a different menu can be set for mobile
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Page content built with composers will not be displayed on mobile if the mobile plugin is used. Mobile pages are restricted to the mobile editor.
The mobile theme is intended to present a lighter version of the website, optimized for mobile devices. There will be predefined front page templates, category page, post page etc.
2. You could add the link in the description field of the team member element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zLGIA9ZW9ecE
There are no dedicated options to add links in this element, or the other information you mention, except the description field.
The composer will receive more options and feature over future updates however.
If that option does not appear for you, in almost all similar cases plugins were to blame. There could be a plugin installed that is responsible. Only way to check is by deactivating all plugins except theme plugins. Then see if the option appears.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile logo can be set in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TGYnGv4xk4R
Remove the default logo and upload your own.
Thanks
Hi,
4. The unique articles is intended to be used only when the page contains elements without using pagination
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qsvbBINGrn3M
If pagination is used there will still be unique articles on the initial page load, but when the pagination is used there will be duplicates.
There are sufficient default filtering and sorting options for the grids and blocks to prevent duplicates from happening
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
If it is for some reason required to implement the same filtering and sorting on different blocks, there is also an offset feature that can be used
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
In most case the rocket loader caused similar issues with the sliding mobile background. If you could provide a link to your website we will inspect it.
The theme blocks and grids are predefined, they cannot be modified unless through code. Blocks will always look the same, depending on the layout they are placed. Block 24 for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-24/
Try different block and grid types, there might be one that would be similar to what you are describing.
Thanks
Hi,
For example the theme live demo uses an image of this size for the mobile background
– https://www.screencast.com/t/j2HQiThhSI
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/mobile-bg.jpg
Make sure you are setting the full size of the image when uploading the image, not a thumbnail

Thanks
Check the mobile page there they will show up 🙂
Hi again, is there a possibility of the mobile menu icon, the 3 lines, add the word menu?

i want to change mobile menu icon to the right like the picture at the top.

Hi,
After the latest update to 8.6, our mobile theme has been giving us this eror only visible, when you are logged in: https://puu.sh/yXrj1/cd28e0510f.png
It is right below the main image. It also shows at the bottom:
https://puu.sh/yXrkj/06b3db1760.png
It says something about Style7 not being set as well as wrap_classes not set.
This is what I have done so far:
– Fresh install of theme
– Fresh install of all plugins
– Removed all modifications from custom code
– Disabled plugins
The issue still persist, but only in the mobile theme. I tried both 1.0 and 1.1 versions.
Do you have any idea what might be causing it? I also tried the multi-purpose plugin and I also tried it without it.
Hi Team,

But when ever I install tagdiv mobile plug in its get much more smoother than before but main problem is, My websites customization are vanished and all articles are showing in a list view. Please solve this.
Hi, Catalin!
Sorry for reverting late. Anyhow, I imported the theme files and plugins using FTP, and cleared Cache + Purged CDN, but I’m facing the same issue again.
I can’t access mobile version when I enabled the multipurpose plugin.
After disabling it, the mobile version looks broke. The side menu and the search button are not working.
There’s a conflict with revolution slider plugin again. It’s not working on the page.
Could you please take a look at this? I’ve been facing this issue for a long time now.
Dear tagdiv Support,
Would like to highlight that we have been using your theme so far and we have been pleased with its performance.
However, recently we had this issue with the multipurpose plugin. Our staff have been trying to login into the wp-admin backend but they get this error (only shows up on mobile)
https://worldwithouthorizons.com/wp-content/uploads/WhatsApp-Image-2018-01-07-at-4.31.18-AM.jpeg
It is identical to this error made in the comments page on themeforest recently;
https://worldwithouthorizons.com/wp-content/uploads/Screen-Shot-2018-01-09-at-02.25.29.png
We have performed the steps exactly as was the reply, and the result is the same.
Please advise, thank you.

Hi.
My Theme Zip files is not contains the Mobile Theme files this path: Newsmag-tf/plugins.
Where can i get this Mobile Theme Zip files?
Currently the mobile theme shows the first 3 post in the category “featured”. Is there any way to change which category it displays?
Hello,
The theme looks fantastic! It is easy to add new posts and get them to look great.
I have two issues with the Newspaper theme that I need help on:
1. The mobile menu is not working properly on mobile devices. I upgraded to the new V8 theme, and ever since, I can not update the mega menu in the WordPress menu section. It does not give me the option to add featured posts of categories to the mega menu either. All but one of the menu items work on mobile. The main item, the drop down with the images of the posts is not working on mobile. News Room is the menu item that does not show properly on mobile. I have not been too impressed with the mobile app add-on, as you can not view actual pages and are limited to only posts. So, I am using the responsive theme without the mobile app add-on. I realize that it speeds up the mobile site, but if you can not get them to look the same, what is the point?

2. When using the TagDiv builder, I noticed that you can not add any links to any of the content. You have descriptions for content for team/staff members bios, content blocks, text with titles, and all do NOT allow you to add a simple little link. Any advice on how to make this work? We have some team members that have websites or links to youtube videos, and this can not be added to the team section. The social media icons are cool, but not everyone has those as contact info. What about a phone number, email, and a website link? Not seeing those vital things for the team feature. I did see an option to add your own HTML code, but that is why we are using the builder to speed things along and have features like hero sections, title and text, and the many more you offer.
Please advise? Thanks!
Hi
I need assistance with how I can remove the News 8 Paper logo in mobile view
Hi Bogdan,
unfortunately the site is not yet ready to be shared with the public. Can I send you a screen print via e-mail or alternatively what would be the correct pictures dimension to be used for the mobile menu background? Any picture I use results in the same issue so far.
Many thanks
Ralf
Thanks for your reply, I understand… but then I would like to use BLOCK in both, just as I inform in my other post, the BLOCK is not working well on my site, so I opened the other post. If the block is displayed well on my site, I can use it for both desktop and mobile.
Hello Jonte,
This is the preview of our demo on mobile devices, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/clbzaiypkPml Do you want to move the post title from Big Grid under to the featured image for Mobile Devices to look like on the blocks? Sorry, I guess that you need more additional customizations to change the default theme’s style and also, notice that we cannot do this because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
