I would like to increase the font size when viewing using mobile phone or tab. How can I do that, I would like to increase a size or two to ease reading for those who wear glasses

We just updated our site from a very old version (Newspaper ~4), and I have a few issues/questions about Newspaper 7.5.

1. We are using “Style 9” of the social widget, and the icons appear to be broken in Safari, Chrome, iPhone, etc. Is there any easy fix for this?

2. The “Slide” module doesn’t seem to work if the category selected only has 1 post. This wasn’t a problem for us in Newspaper 4. Is this a known issue?

3. Is it possible to chance the dimensions of the “Slide” images on the home page? We would like for them to be more square as opposed to rectangle.

4. Can you customize what is displayed when using the dedicated mobile plugin? Instead of “latest posts” on the home page, we would like to show a certain category.

I have problem with wpforo on mobile, sometime i can see it, sometime no, and i ask help to the WPforo support and they ask me to change template :

we just checked and found the main reason of mobile issues are these theme components, they still exist. The wpForo is super responsive and works very well on mobile. To make sure wpForo works fine please change the theme, delete cache and check it again.

I think many wordpress user who use bbpress before, now change for wpforo, the best forum for wordpress, and it’s can be interesting to make Newspaper working with WPforo.

There is a major problem with responsive mobile version of the Newspaper theme that effects the page load speed and Google rankings. I currently using latest version (7.5), regenerated thumbnails and I thought it might fix it, but it didn’t.

The problem is that the image gets blurry and low quality in posts in mobile version even when I upload the image that is 400px wide. When I viewed it in my LG G3, the images in post (at least 400px wide) is of low quality. This wasn’t the case when I used to have Newspaper version 6.

The images should be able to get at least medium quality images in post images, but it doesn’t.

To fix this, you should upload image 2x the size. For example, if you have 400px wide image then you should upload 800px image to get it with good quality on mobile. WE DON’T want every image to be unnecessarily 800px wide image on posts. This definitely affects the site loading speed and eventually depreciates the search engine rankings.

You guys should do something to fix this problem immediately, or offer the solution get it fixed. You might suggest using Mobile plugin version, but it still it a mess, and the users has been getting a lot of issues reported on this forum.

WP Super Cache does not meet the minimum requirements for the performance of server systems. And normally it is not running.

And because of the lack of support W3TC, it is impossible to use the great plugin – mobile theme.

Hi, have some questions, hope u advise.

1. How can i have full width display as in “say hello” demo?

2. Is it possible to have a horizontal line below header on header style 2 ( top menus )

3. When i check ‘404’ page, i could see ‘Homepage’ also displays with some default image, how to avoid this?.

4. How to get infinite scroll or load more options for latest articles in homepage ( post loop ).

5. Is it possible to have ‘load more’ on search page template.

6. Is it possible center align footer widgets ( will look nice for horizontal mobile view ).

7. Would be good if article inline ad displays at the last paragraph whenever there are no as many paragraphs mentioned in ‘AFTER PARAGRAPH’ ( ad goes invisible ). Do u have any solution for this?.

Seems like ssl is okay when viewing on PC but when viewing through mobile with the mobile plugin on, the https in my mobile browser doesn’t turn green.

THe https turns green when the mobile plugin theme is turned off and when the site is viewed as its responsive self.

Perhaps something is not linking to https in the mobile plugin theme properly?

I’m using cloudflare’s flexible ssl.

Any advice, I’m all ears!
