- TutorialsWhat is Ajax preloading?
Hi,
Thanks for your answer, I hope it will be resolved soon because responsive mobile is not the best option really since it’s several times slower.
I have managed to find a problem for images after all. Every image that had some latin characters was not displayed. I simply renamed the image and re-uploaded them and it worked.
I am not sure if this is theme or WordPress bug?
Yes the author name is obscured in this 7.3 release on mobile, Im on iPhone 6
…I haven’t solved it, but I’ve stumbled onto something….
The pages that are chosen as page builder with title as requested unaffected and gave regular mobile width/container.
however, the pages that are chosen as “no title” (default) I believe, along with all posts, ARE affected.
I’m typing from my phone so I couldn’t look I to this any further.
still need some insight into this.
thx
after updating from version 2.6.3 to 3.1, our mobile wdith/container is not fixed like it should be.
users can now swipe to the right and move the screen to blank space. I’m noticing with a ton of sites that have updated to 3.1. why would you guys allow the container to be broken in new version?
ads, plug-ins, code…I’ve disabled everything that could have caused the issue of forcing the container to be broken.
still couldn’t fix it.
this is an issue for those who’d like to run 720×90 ads on a mobile version. it will always BREAK the mobile width.
I’m asking for a solution that will allow the mobile width/container to not be broken if there’s an element that makes it break on version 3.1.
it also effects any footer ad or footer floating social sharing showcase (as it’ll take form of real width, not mobile width).
how u guys had it setup in 2.6.3 was perfect for us non developers.
website is elitesportsny.com
thank you,
Overpress.it,
I’m also noticing you’really having the same problem with your mobile container as we are due to the new update…
when you swipe to the right on mobile, your width is not fixed like it should be.I’m currently also having this issue while looking to solve it.
ads, plug-ins, code….hadon’t everything disabled and it still persists.
elitesportsny.come
if you find anything, let me know…and I’ll do the same.
why tagdiv allowed this container to break, as opposed to version 2.6.3, I’ll never know. it’s a rough one for non developers who look for a theme…basically bc they’re non developers.
thx
Hello,
I am new with this theme but I like it a lot. I just don’t understand why my mobile them doesn’t look like the website on a desktop. The website is http://www.fiatministrynetwork.tv. Thank you
Sorry for dummy question.
Newspapaer Theme Documentation:
Page customization
Homepage – the “Mobile Theme” comes with a single predefined page template that includes two section:
top grid – displays 3 featured posts (posts included in the Featured category)
latest articles – displays the latest articles
Where I can “switch on” Top Grid?
In my mobile theme NO top grid…

@sumi

Hi,
We are very sorry for this inconvenience! You can use the fix provided by Bogdan above or download the theme again from themeforest as we released an unannounced update and we have fixed this issue. The theme version is the same 7.3 so after you download the theme package from themeforest please re-install it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and the mobile theme will work properly.
Thanks and sorry for inconvenience!

Here is a fix for the mobile theme issue for the moment until the new update is released:
Add this code in the mobile theme’s function.php:
td_global::$td_options = get_option(TD_THEME_OPTIONS_NAME); //read the theme settings once
It should look like so: http://screencast.com/t/ke18K42lG
Thank you!

Hello,
Is this on the mobile theme or on the standard responsive version or desktop? Pleas provide more details and a link to your site so we can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hello,
It depends on whether you use the mobile theme or not. If you use the mobile theme, sidebar elements will not be present. If you do not use the mobile theme plugin, theme the sidebar will be visible on mobile under the main content.
Thank you!
Oh thanks, for the info on mobile fix..will wait instead of fiddling all this while. 🙂
Hello Ranj,
For your first request, please notice that there is talking about Ajax Filter feature. If you want to rule out this option, you can do that from Block Settings, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/OovaLEfuGlnJ
For your second request, please notice that you cannot increase the width of that featured image from that Block displayed in your sidebar because you can break the layout of the theme. As you can see in our demo preview, this is the general theme behaviour….the advertisement dimension in sidebar is 300*250 px and the featured image from Block is 324*235 px, like this -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ -> http://screencast.com/t/ZQLUUd7dL
For your latest request, please notice that our theme does not have such an option that offers you a way to change the viewport -> desktop or mobile, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
I noticed this in the system stats:
Theme config
Theme name i Newspaper
Theme version i 7.3
Theme database version i 7.3
Theme aurora version i 1.1
HTTP channel test wordpress
Installed demo i Default Demo – demo ID: default | install type: no_content
Theme Mobile Newspaper mobile version
Hi
This errors occurs when the query fails but we didn’t received a similar report so far. I am not sure why this happens or if the problem still exist on your site as I’ve check it and now it is displayed fine on both mobile and desktop devices: http://screencast.com/t/1SQIpJZpAtE – http://screencast.com/t/A1ZqpJ5PjJb
If the problem persit try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again. As cache plugin we recommend WP Super Cache which is tested and works fine with the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello,
Please do not comment any lines of code and update your version of visual composer. i created a sticky post on the forum to anounce that thversion 7.3 is not compatible with older versions of VC. That means you ned to install version 4.12 from the latest theme package you download from envato. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Sorry for the inconvenience. The fix for the mobile theme is on it;s way. It will be uploaded to the theme update today.
Thank you!
