Hi, and thanks for support. So… how did they get it to work in Dental Studio? Is it scroll to class? It works in mobile menu. Do you got the code for this menu?

I used it when it came on a site but I have no access today.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please update the theme to the latest version of it which is 9.6.1. Clear all the caches, purge CDN files and also, make sure if you have enabled the Mobile Theme. Also, I saw that you are using the W# Total Cache plugin which is not tested with our theme. We recommend the WP Super Cache.

Thanks.

Hi,

Unfortunately for the moment there is no option for this, but is possible to be implement in our mobile theme plugin in coming updates.

Thank you!

The website will be faster on mobile if you use the mobile theme + AMP option. The mobile theme will apply to the whole website for mobile visitors and also AMP pages.

The only AMP option will apply the mobile theme only on AMP (visitors that access the website from the Google search results page on mobile ). Other mobile visitors will be served the default responsive version of the website.

What exactly did you edit in the WPBakery plugin? If possible please let me know.

Seems the menu is working in the AMP version http://prntscr.com/n0ipno

But not working in the simple mobile version. We have seen this issue before, but in the AMP version and mobile theme. Also it happened only in pages. Do you use any optimization plugins or methods? Try if possible to test without them.

Hello, I am getting this error when updating to the latest version. I have updated both the theme and included mobile plugin. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi guys! I want to customize the MOBILE THEME plugin template. How can I best do this (create a child theme or something like that)?

Hi, don’t know if it’s impossible, but might the following idea be on the horizon in a future update?

That is, turning off mobile theme for specific pages; OR, all pages for that matter.

This way we wouldn’t have to worry about having to create and update the alternate mobile version.

Just a thought, since some of us have pages that need to be updated on a regular basis.

Thanks

Ad size - topic
#0

Hi,

I have placed some Adsense ad units and set them at a different size for mobile phone (320 x 100 in the header for example). However, the theme is still automatically resizing them. Is there any way to fix this?

The size is set accordingly in the ad section of the theme panel too. So this is not the issue.

Thanks for your information, Simion. So I add some articles to the featured category and they showed up on the mobile site.

From what I can see the mobile theme is not active at the moment on your website

For this, in the Newspaper -> Plugins -> tagDiv Mobile Theme has been activated already. So I didn’t understand this much. Could you pls share more solutions?

Big thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately for the moment this is the only option to set one ad in loop after a set number of posts, maybe in coming update will be same more fields for ads in mobile.

I modified all to be able to load WebP images, and I did it!

I got a 100/100 score in pagespeed. But I need a plugin to enable the caching of that type of images in browsers, I use Cache enabler (Only for that, I use WP SuperCache for all the config).

When I activate the Cache enabler plugin, the mobile theme doesnt work, what can i do?

I think its something important, the future are this type of images, and its a lot faster.

Thanks!

What about page speed? Befor an update was much faster. One more thing. what is the difference between:
1) Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
2) AMP – Uses the responsive version of the theme on small screen devices and Mobile Theme only on AMP.

I’ve got to admit I’m a little bit confused.

Had to change the URL and reinstall old theme again.

That link will not work at all now.

Please refer to the original question in the thread as to why the Amp pages lost all previous formatting.

BTW Mobile theme is not activated.

Hi,

In order to remove those please add this custom css
.td-footer-wrap .td-footer-description, .td-footer-wrap .td-footer-logo {
display: none
}

In Theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code -> https://www.screencast.com/t/R2voxrlKX

Thank you!

Hi,

Yes, unfortunately the anchor/Bookmark will not work in mobile version, sorry!
Maybe you can create a special menu for mobile version that will work.

Check out the New Header Main Menu with Newspaper Theme – https://tagdiv.com/header-main-menu-newspaper-theme/

Get Slick Designs with the new Mobile Header Feature -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-header-newspaper-theme/

Setting in Mobile Settings

Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP

The AMP version will look same as the mobile theme, this demo has the mobile theme active
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/
Check it with a mobile emulator or an actual mobile. Having only the mobile theme active, or having the mobile theme and also AMP active, will look the same visually.

You can use the ad spots mentioned above, in the mobile theme section of the theme panel
http://prntscr.com/n0ghd9
In articles there is a top ad, inline ad and bottom ad.

Hi,

You only need to enter the auto ads code in the theme panel now
http://prntscr.com/n0g6ll
The ads should appear after a while. We have tested this on our end and the ads are being served. Be sure to test with the mobile emulator in mobile mode or an actual mobile.

Thanks

I use

AMP Paired
Reuses active theme’s templates to display AMP responses, but uses separate URLs for AMP. Each canonical URL may have a corresponding AMP URL, if the content is fully AMP valid.

Plugin

Hi,

I tried creating a link in the mobile editor, seems to work alright
http://prntscr.com/n0fu45http://prntscr.com/n0fu97

But I see there is a fatal error in your website homepage – http://prntscr.com/n0fv1c also in all posts. Does this go away if you deactivate the mobile theme plugin? Did you make any modifications to theme files or mobile theme files? Or added code in the theme files?

I suggest that you reinstall the theme – https://tagdiv.com/how-to-install-newspaper-theme/
Delete all the theme plugins and reinstall them from here – http://prntscr.com/n0fzs1
Also deactivate all non-theme plugins, clear all caching and purge CDN. Then check if it works properly. Let us know.

Thanks
