Hello,
I verify your website on my phone and seems to work well https://www.screencast.com/t/x86p69NG0xYd
Please let me know what cache plugin you use, also, do you use some plugins to optimize the CSS?
Thank you!
Hello!
When you install Mobile Theme plugin or AMP, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
AMP is faster and works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. The design is looking pretty similar as our plugin.
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version or AMP.
If you deactivate the plugins, then the pages will automatically load how you’ve set up.
Thank you!

The demo serves to demonstrate what the theme can do for you, to check the size of the files and much more, that is, to show you what you will really achieve using all the features it offers, and it is also clear to know the to expect visually from the theme you are purchasing.
If even the developer can’t optimize the theme itself, then it’s one more task for the user to get by, which in your case and in my opinion, was just getting rid of everything and having just text and an image practically for each post, which for me and in my tests, is meaningless, I need to use the theme with many images and almost as it is in the demo.
About LCP, it depends on where the images are and on what devices you are viewing that moment, not forgetting that earlier this year Google made changes in this metric with Chrome 88, more at https://web.dev/lcp/ e at https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/refs/heads/main/docs/speed/metrics_changelog/2020_11_lcp.md
But what I mean is for developers to improve the theme and be able to make the demos themselves get good scores.
In your case, I still give you some advice, if there is something unique that the theme has and no other can offer, in your case, there are lighter themes (total of 500kb with many images, with one image it is 250kb or less) and with similar features, that without CDN you’ll get a better score than your current one, something I can also get with these other themes and only using the server and free plug-in.
What I’m saying is that Google only asked to improve LCP and CLS over a year ago, and so far it hasn’t been done by the developers.
Finally, I have to praise the latest updates, especially 11.2, which brought better performance and less use of server resources, now the theme is really working as it should (now it looks like it’s really compatible with WordPress, without slowing anything down ), all that remains is to improve the LCP to get a good score.

Our website is https://infomeddnews.com – Google keeps telling us that our images are not sized correct, but they are sized correct to their standards of 1200 pixels wide.
First, we place the Featured Image in the Word Press post – view at https://infomeddnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Featured-Image.png
We use two of your post cloud templates – so … you can view at https://infomeddnews.com/book-review-why-medicare-advantage-plans-are-bad
Or we use this template at https://infomeddnews.com/osso-vr-broadens-access-to-optimized-surgical-care/
Again, Google keeps telling us that the images are not sized to their 1200 pixels wide dimensions. And they are sized correctly.
Please, do not tell us to go back into the actual Word Press Setting to set the images to their dimensions because we have done this already. Please. help. Greatly appreciated. : )

Hi, I want to know if you have any intention to improve the LCP?
In my tests, the theme never passes the Core Web Vitals, and the LCP is always at fault.
The tests were done with the theme demonstrations, but LCP always gets in the way of the site getting a good score, if the demo, which is even optimized with autoptimize, doesn’t pass the tests, without ads and other changes, as the user will get to improve something that by default the theme doesn’t?

Isn’t the H1 tag at the top of the page most optimized for S.E.O.?
Oh, sorry, I just noticed one mistake at a time. Please don’t get me wrong, you are doing an excellent job and on the other hand I am very satisfied with my second license. It’s just very frustrating to sit in front of the computer for 3 days and either sometimes see the mobile version on the desktop (if I’m not logged in) or the desktop version on the mobile phone (but only on the home page)
Here I had changed the template from Black Pro to Magazine Pro and colored it accordingly. Everything looks fine on the computer (as long as I’m logged in, sometimes even without logging in).
So far I’ve done the following:
– Read your documentation – as far as I can see, I did it as described there (and I had set it up beforehand, everything worked)
– All plugins deactivated and gradually reactivated
– Child theme deactivated and activated
– Cache deleted via FTP
– Cache deleted via plug-in “Super Cache” and “Autooptimize”
+++ the “old headers and footers” now seem to be gone +++
As soon as I open a post, everything is ok with the header and footer. Only the start page, it loads a desktop page on the phone. I used “create mobile site” as you described it.
When I use “edit mobile” everything looks normal (as it should).
Instead of posting articles, I’ve been trying for days to somehow solve the problem. But despite the documentation, I don’t know what to do next. I sit in front of it for hours, trying and not finding the fault. That’s why I turn to you, sure that’s just a catch somewhere, an attitude that I just can’t find (or am now so blind and frustrated that I keep overlooking it).

Hello!
This is a tested plugin with our theme, but you can use another cache plugin which suits your needs. Of course, this is not enough to optimize your page speed.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
So, please make sure you use the latest update of the theme and plugins because it may help you for your page speed. First of all, please make sure you have a backup done and then you can update the theme and the TagDiv plugins also.
I recommend you to make a backup and update plugins and the theme via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Hello,
I made a test, and now your CLS on mobile is 0,11 over the previous 28-day collection period => https://www.screencast.com/t/tWim6GLjhdp and 0 now.

I am trying to upload the Amber Light Pro prebuilt website and when I tried to load it, it said something about checking the system status to make sure they were all green. I have no idea how to make sure it is optimized with the system status page. And the prebuilt website said it loaded but isn’t showing on the preview page.
Hi,
Our Newspaper Theme webpage https:theicon.ist/about-us is taking a long time to load, compared with other pages across the site https:/theicon.ist .
1. Any recommendations on how to make it load faster? We have already optimized the images, and are using a caching plugin.
2. Is there a way to apply an optimized preloader (from top of the page working down), so that the page loads all items as the user scrolls down?
Thank you for your help, and looking forward to your reply.
Best,
Hi, team Could you please suggest me to optimize HTML and CSS codes,

Hello!
It depends which option you use, because we have 3:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
The fastest solution for mobile is the 3rd one the Mobile Theme plugin. This one it has its own design, so it can be sure you have the optimal number of designed elements(basic ones) on the pages and also, you can optimize it to improve your speed. The fewer elements you have on the page, the smaller in size the page is and the CSS is smaller too.
Unfortunately, there is no button to hit and your page speed is very high. You need to try to optimize your website too and choose the fastest solution which suits you the best.
Thank you!
Hi gcamara, fantalab and crodexter
For the moment the lazy loading option from our theme is apply only generally, we make a request to add some individual options to can disable it on some elements and we hope it will be implemented. Unfortunately until then the only way to do this is to use a cache plugin that have options to exclude some images from lazy load, I think that this option it is the WP Rocket and maybe in autoptimize.
Thank you for your understanding!
To solve this problem you need to optimize better your website, the CLS and LCP are all about the website page speed, to can get better results, you need to optimize the website better.
For mobile version, if you want you can try the mobile page , for most users that use pro prebuild website provide better speed on mobile, you can check it on our website from here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ -> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdemo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewspaper_pro%2F
Also please try the CSS Analyzer tool -> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/
Also here are other guides that can help:

–> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
-> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Or if you want you can make a request to custom services -> https://tagdiv.com/services/custom-services-page-speed-optimization/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
If this https://www.corriereromagna.it/ is your website, then I saw that the images are loading quite fast.
Now the only option for lazy load in our theme is the one from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/QSL6VBK.png maybe only if you are using extra plugins that have some options for images.
Also I search on internet to find the best solution for how to optimize and display the images faster and for now this seems to be the best guide https://wpbuffs.com/speed-up-image-loading/
I hope it will help you!
Hi jpack, the path on the icons is a little different set, for example in this case the path it is set here -> https://i.imgur.com/IAt1pvh.png also here -> https://i.imgur.com/iGkaZNI.png
I think that Bettina suggested to try to optimize those like I suggested here -> https://i.imgur.com/ngoCEoF.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/low-scores-on-mobile-theme-amp-and-desktop-pagespeed-and-gt-metrics-optimize/
In your case I think it should be like this:
// Preload Newspaper fonts for responsive theme (main theme) function dns_prefetch_responsive()
{
echo '<link rel="preload" href="https://your-domain/wp-content/plugins/td-newsletter/images/icons/multipurpose.woff?2" as="font">';
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'dns_prefetch_responsive', 0 );
I hope this will help you!
Hi which speed Optimization plugin you suggest for newspaper. My website is pluscreen.com and I want to optimize my all issue that is showing in Google pagespeed insights. The plugins that I am using now is WP fast cache, auto optimize and litespeed cache.
