Hello!
If you will create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin if you need a mobile version design similar like in desktop version.
Thank you!

For AMP you can use mobile theme plugin and use this option => https://www.screencast.com/t/uOOZoezrSR then the mobile theme layout will apply only for AMP, and if you want to have AMP pages, not only AMP post then you need to set for pages a page content in the mobile editor (content made without builders). => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH

Hi jornalosaopaulo.
Thanks for your advice, I will.
But are you sure you haven’t saved the file in woff2 format and renamed it to woff?
The icons in svg are an optimal solution to not load a font unnecessarily and not to have that small change on the rendering. At least those on mobile, where the connection is slower.
Yes, optimizing this theme should work much better on some. There are themes and page builders that are much more optimized for page loading, they should adapt too so as not to lose customers.
I am still using WP Bakery on some sites, though despite having its backend issues, it is much lighter. On two very similar sites I have WPbakery and Newspapers.
The optimized html homepage of WPbakery is heavy about 45kb (with logo in svg) and with a 110kb total .js file without advertising (there are about 40 active plugins) and 198kb with AdSense, in a test site with Newspaper theme I have 163kb of page html and 2.3MB of .js files without AdSense (there are about 10 active plugins).
Screenshot WPbakery:

Screenshot Newspaper:
https://i.ibb.co/RB4qXCr/Schermata-2021-03-04-alle-20-18-14.png
How come you don’t work on this?
It still persists.
The problem is Page Insights read still my page in the way as for the desktop.
For example:
http://prntscr.com/10d3xva
In mobile version it should have default optimized mobile theme from newspaper
What I did was to convert the newspaper.woff file to .ttf, and then back to .woff… it decreased to about half the size.
Used some random on-line converter to achieve that.
It only shows how little optimized the Newspaper Theme is..

Hello !
You will have to make sure that all your images are optimized. As you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/amCeznLPkddK The images are very big and they eat a lot of resources. Also please use this setting in your Theme Panel: https://i.imgur.com/fTySS92.png
Let us know the result !

Hello!
Trying to optimize the AMP version of my site, I found this warning:
https://paste.pics/BR7RX
Is there a way to get rid of this warning (fixing the issue, of course)?
Thanks!
Hello !
Indeed this seems to be a weird problem. My suggestion is to first start clearing your cache. Make sure that your cache is optimized and cleared. Also what You should do is to check your plugins. Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know if this helped.
Thank you !
Hello,
I think the problem is from a plugin conflict, please make a test only with the tagDiv plugins, clear cache and see if the problem still persists.
Also, I think the problem is due to some settings in the autoptimize plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
I just checked your page speed => https://i.imgur.com/e43FKhz.png and seem now is a little faster on mobile, but I saw you have more elements that need to be optimized.
The only thing I can help you with is to give you these page speed guides:

Hi,
That is a query to database to select a type of posts (if I’m right it will be for media images).
Unfortunately, there is no code that can replace the one from the theme, but you can make some optimizations that can help you.
Another thing is to optimize the theme as much as you can -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/ -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
What you can do is to clean the database, for this you can use this guide https://www.webhostingsecretrevealed.net/blog/wordpress-blog/7-tips-to-reduce-wordpress-database-size/
Hope this will help you to increase the speed of your website.
Thank you!

So, you can’t customize your mobile version if you use this plugin.

Good day.
I optimized the site according to your instructions. The full version of the site works fine.
But mobile doesn’t want to be optimized at all.
The full version of the site before optimization was 40. After optimization it became 75. The mobile version before optimization was 25, now it is 30.
The simplified mobile version (tagDiv Mobile Theme) doesn’t suit me.
Tell me how you can optimize the mobile version? Gossip Website Template https://dip.org.ua/

Does the Newspaper theme take time to fully optimize? I used the ‘W3 Total Cache plugin and the plugin created an issue at WordPress skite health with missed schedule event. Now I use the ‘WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache’ plugin but it only shows 68% performance at GTmetrix.
One thing to mention, when I used W3 Total Cache plugin, the performance was 95%. However when I first activated the plugin, the performance was not 95%, it was 66-72% on GTmetrix. After 2 days, I say suddenly the performance increased to 95%. I downloaded the ‘WP Missed Schedule (The Original)’ plugin to solve the issue and instaled it. but it refuse to get activated due to the errors as follows:
*”Before activate plugin WP Missed Schedule please delete conflicting option: byrev_fixshedule_next_verify.”
*”To avoid conflicts please clean orphaned options not cleaned after deactivation or uninstallation of plugin: ByREV Fix Missed Schedule.”
If I could active this plugin, then I could use the ‘W3 Total Cache’ plugin. But now I tried every other optimizer but the performance is below 60% at GTmetrix. I followed your articles on ‘Get almost 100% performance on GTmetrix’, but with those optimizers, the performance does not get up to 65%.
Therefore I want to know, Will the performance increase afterward or not?
Another thing is, Do you have any suggestion to use the W3 Total Cache plugin with no ‘Missed Schedue Event’ error?

Hello!
1. If you will edit the page with TagDiv Composer, select Website Manager and choose mobile menu, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/RHIf9iWQUg ; There you can select which menu you want to be on mobile and change it like you want.
Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
2. When you edit with TagDiv Composer, click on it and you can delete it.
3. Same like at point 2

Hello !
As you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/zJarphxrktcH Those are images that need to be optimized and also I recommend you to switch from Standard pack to Cloud Library templates.
Thank you !
