The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The only settings you can find in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme.

My suggestion is to follow this topic / guide in order understand better how to optimize your website: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/

Hi,
1. I see that now you are using the responsive version of the theme, therefore the layout from homepage will be display on mobile. If this doesn’t have any “Latest posts” then those will not be add on responsive version (this situation is use only for mobile theme plugin when the page content need to be set in the mobile editor).
2. I just checked your website on more browsers: chrome https://i.imgur.com/DrXgilk.png edge https://i.imgur.com/3p5MGEE.png opera https://i.imgur.com/tjYbLfs.png and firefox https://i.imgur.com/PBCdjXS.png
3. Normal the pagination should not take more then 1-2s, depending on your website optimization.
4. For this you need to use some plugins for image optimize, for example you can use EWWW Image Optimizer plugin.
Hope this will help you!
Hello!
From what you describe it seems you have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you will create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.

If you want to change the design of the mobile version, then you can create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer plugin. Otherwise, you can let the mobile version responsive, and the design will be the same like in desktop version.

Hi there,
I am new to this “site making thing,” and I have some issues which I cannot resolve. Please Help :-). I put some posts out, and everything seems to be working fine. However, not anymore.
1. Some images won’t show anymore on the homepage, although being linked with a category.
2. My tag div composer won’t show anymore on my homepage, but it is showing on other pages (actually the whole wp menu)
3. My category pages are empty, although I have allocated all my posts to several categories.
Until a few days back, everything seemed to be working fine. I have the feeling it might have to do with purging my cache. I am using WP-Optimize 3.1.6 for that. What is the best way to approach this?
I have a back-up of 21-12. But I’d rather continue working on this ‘version’ to determine the real issue.
I hope you guys/girls can help me out.
Hi Jose, thank you for your wishes! We wish you the same!
As for the optimization service you must ask this question when you make the request -> https://i.imgur.com/ziYmakp.png but I think that this will be one of the first thing that our developers from custom services will do, will inspect your website and decide if this can or not be optimize.
Thank you for your undersetting!
Hello!
When you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin, that’s why you can not modify it with TagDiv Composer.

Hello !
I am sorry for misunderstanding your issue.
Those 3 things that I pointed are the ones who eat the most resources. 2 Are from Autoptimize plugin, which I said that you should check Autoptimize settings in order o reduce the loading on them. And the Google Syndication ad.
This is what you need to address in order to the lower your cumulative layout shift rating at the moment.
Thank you !
Hi,
I think that you can set the file path and exclude from been Optimize, the js files that our theme is using are on this file path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/js
Hope this will help you!
Hello!
You can modify the header with TagDiv Composer plugin, but only if you use a cloud template or a PRO theme.
If you use Mobile Theme plugin, then you can not customize it however you want.

Just for clarity, I see that it is possible to exclude individual scripts from Autoptimize when the ‘Optimize JavaScript Code’ is ticked. Is it possible, therefore, to place the JS that controls these elements into .js files and then exclude them so that Autoptimize can optimise the remainder of the script, while still allowing these images to show.
Or does this code work in conjunction with others i.e. if the tdHomepageFullItem js code was excluded but others weren’t, this would still cause issues?

I don’t want to use AMP in my site. But I want to use the tagdiv Mobile Theme plugin which gives a mobile optimized view in mobile. If I remove AMP & activate tagdiv Mobile Theme, then is AMP is still activated in my site? as Mobile Theme intregets with AMP plugin to work best.
Main point is:I want AMP to be completely removed & want to use Mobile Theme. Is mobile theme activates AMP or functions like AMP?
Hello !
Unfortunately at the moment changing the aspect ration and the size of the featured image on mobile will require custom work. Please note that as long as your images are optimized this will not affect your your page speed.
Thank you !

Hi boroguide, the theme need to use the JavaScript to set those background images, when you choose to ‘Optimize JavaScript Code’, most probably the code is no longer use in the right moment and the images are no longer set, therefore, if you want to keep that background image you must avoid that option from that plugin. Try with other settings from the plugin.
Thank you for your understating!
