Please make all of these tests without plugins. Plugins are the number one reason the theme functionality is affected. Please disable all plugins and only leave visual composer active. Then clear all caching from the cache plugin (we only recommend wp super cache), from the cdn server and from the host if there is any hosting related cache.
Then after all this test if you can save anything in the theme panel, check if you can disable the ads or add other ads, check if the social icons can be deactivated: http://screencast.com/t/5r8ZPkZdCbV
If you use a child theme, that can also cause issues if it’s not been updated.

I do all you say but I still in the same point and worse. I still can’t removing the default social sharing buttons. And the news now i’m unable to edit the ads in the theme panel of the Newspaper theme too. I try to put adsense codes (i already put 1 several weeks ago when i configure the theme by the 1st time, but now i don’t know what happen the system don’t allow me to do the same and include another codes and save) and try to save the changes but nothing happen, and the changes when i refresh the page are not save.
I appreciate your help because i really need to set up this site to put to work

If you want using other ads to your website in HTML, you should simply consult the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/ and from there you simply copy the DIV’s method and paste it in Ads area section from Theme panel.

Does your adsense ad work anywhere else? Please test your adsense in another spot or on a wp default theme to see if the ad is delivered by google. If the ad is a new adsense code, it could take up to a few days before it will be delivered by google.

For my new page at http://www.esportindustry.com I have the problem that basically only the landing page (front page) loads in mobile mode on my Windows 10 laptop. How can I fix that? All other pages seem to load with the normale web design.

The sample ad of newspaper having dimension of 300 x 250 is centrally aligned in the sidebar. Where as the ads I use having same dimension of 300 x 250 (whether google ads or any other ads) stay left aligned, leaving lot of white space on the right.

Hello, one more question if that’s ok. We have a need for about 12 local ads on sidebars. I’m just realizing there are 5 custom ad spots. I know we have unlimited sidebars but how do we add different ads on different sidebars? In other words, some people have bought sidebar adspace to be in the sports section, some have bought to be on the home page, some have bought to be in the business section of the site, etc. I get unlimited sidebars but how do we get images on those sidebars? Approx. 15 days before, we have shifted to more powerful Digital Ocean Server ( Via Cloudways) and have experienced two times more traffic than before due to increased website speed and performance.
However, for last one week or so, I am noticed weird homepage loading on Mobile devices. It first appears broken and then completely loads after the considerably higher amount of time.

As you can see, the problem appears to be with mobile style.css and font loading. I use speed booster plugin and wp super cache, nothing else for speed. I have tried removing – the footer moving script code from speed booster which loads fonts and CSS in the footer. But it didn’t help.
After fully loading in 5-6 seconds, it appears fully like this- https://i.imgur.com/vF5lHUe.jpg
I do want to remind you that I also use “TD Mobile theme” plugin but it doesn’t work on the homepage ( it still shows the mobile version of desktop theme even on mobile devices, but only on the homepage), other pages, posts displays mobile theme plugin version.

@insomniac79 our example ads that we placed in our demos, were just placed as a demo for you to see what goes where. hey were not set according to any google rule, but rather just as an example. the theme provides multiple ad spots and multiple ad sizes for each viewport. It is up to you how you use them. The theme cannot know what ads you want to use and how you want them or how google wants them. The theme provides multiple settings and it;s up to each individual to how he uses these settings.
@emula This could be another thing altogether. Please ope a new topic and provide as many details as you can and a link to your site so we can inspect it.

As for the ad you see on the post, that is no featur image, it is an artilce top ad. Please3 check the article top ad in your ads section of the theme panel and remove the article top ad.
I want to clarify something as I can see you probably think the theme is to blame for these “glitches” but it’s not :). They are problems you get locally on your end, not something that is happening for everybody. It could be a server configuration, it could even be a plugin conflict. Please try this without any plugins as well. disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

If you are using other Ads than Adsense code you should use our classes because the theme will recognize them and it will be adjusted according to the device. Also, if you are using the Adsense code, please notice that you can manage the Ad size from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/ejVqlBYn

Yes, I understand what you mean. However, I have had the same problem with other “Adsense compliant themes”. Therefore, I now keep an iPhone 5 (because of it’s small size) mainly to check how my ads look on small devices. This is especially important for the first ad on your site.
WP SUPERCACHE acts differently on mobile theme vs. desktop theme.
After one post update the mobile theme loads the page from cache in 1.4 seconds,
on desktop theme will rebuild the entire cache and load in ~8 seconds.
It’s a simulated large site with 15000 posts.
I know, it’s about WP SUPERCACHE but i’d be pleased if Newspaper theme can act like mobile theme, loading only new data without rebuilding entire page cache.
P.S. Can I please contact your team on another channel (mail, phone,…) for this and other collaboration problems?

If you put the image URL in the browser, you’ll see the image, and it’s 728×90. The other URL was http://blog.fairrivergifts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/BannerAd.png, and if you put that image into your browser, you’ll see it – same image, different URLs, both do not work in that ad box. I’m using the same code as you used. Your image shows up in the ad, but mine does not. That is the big mystery.

I have inspected your website and I saw that your Ad is not responsive and that’s why you cannot see in mobile and tablet view. Notice that the theme only renders the ad code which is added in the Header Ads and do not influence the structure of it. You should contact the Ad provider and request to provide a responsive Ad code. Hello,
Adsense has strict rules on how to use ads. The theme is 100% compliant but it;s how you use the ads that matters. for example the sticky sidebar used to be a big problem as people placed their ad codes in the sidebar and adsense did not allow a sticky ads. You seem to have 2 ads one on top of the other. I’m not sure exactly but i would ask google for help rather than here as they are the ones that make the rules, not us. We try to provide options for users to place the ad wherever they want to. You can select different sizes for your ads from the theme panel ads section, you can select the number of paragraphs for the inline ad, There are header ads, article top ads, bottom article bottom ads, footer ads., …etc.It is only so much we can do in this regard.
Here is a simple test. Try to use “adrotate” and that way the theme ad system will no longer be used so the theme will no longer interfere. What I can say is that our theme is compliant with the adsense TOS but this is very personal and each individual can use the theme settings to their advantage or the opposite.
The theme simply renders the ads. How you set them and where, it’s up to you.

“I would recommend not to use any ad on above the fold for mobile devices.” – This is what I was talking about. If i display above content ad and below content the ads are shown fine on desktop but google says the ad should be after the content. Secondly on mobile they either show up as big square box or take too long space.
Why should i use any other plugin when the theme has got it’s ads system. I believe the theme author should add options to display inline ads after let’s say some number of paragraphs. Let me repeat inline ad code works fine both in desktop and mobile devices.

First thank you for any advice on the following problem.
I would like to start online magazine with my brother. I would like to have MY Adsense on the pages where I am the author and my brother HIS Adsense where he is an author. I think it’s the most fair solution. So my question is:
1. Is there a simple way to implement this idea using build in Newspaper Advertising system?
2. If not what is the other way or plugin you could advise?
3. I tried to do some research but couldn’t find simple solution. If there is no simple answer on the 2 above maybe there id something in between. Advertising plugin which will work with shortcodes (so I can setup adsense code display rule per author) and these shortcodes I could paste into Newspaper theme inbuilt Ads system.
Many thank for your help in advance. It’s really important to me to find a solution.
