I have some issues in it and i hope you can please help me solve it
So the the theme looks fine
When i do the ads in the place reserved to it , I coppy google ads script in ads places
And after that google said that there are two problemes :
– Maybe the script is not in balise <head></head> and when i take a look on page script(inspect page) i found the script
– the other option that the site is not working
In both case are wrong and I think its probleme of the theme
Can you help me with that issue please ,

I am using the ‘Ad box’ element on the homepage:

The item inspector shows me that there is a css style (.td-a-rec-id-custom_ad_1) that hides it:

When in ‘Use adspot from’ I choose ‘Header ad’ or ‘Sidebar ad’ it works fine, but I use those adspots in another section of my website.
How can I solve the problem?

Hi,
I’m using the custom ads to insert banners from affiliate programs. I insert them in my sidebars using the tagDiv Ad Box in Widgets, but it’s not nice because there is no space between the banner and other elements.
You can see that on this page (the 2 TagDiv Ad Boxes are the last images on the right sidebar):

I tried to add at the end of the custom ad code but it doesn’t work all the time. What should I do to get the same space as between 2 elements in the sidebar?

I have another question though. I’m using adrotate and the ad plugin to cycle a few ads. It displays perfectly fine on my homepage, but on articles it briefly flashes then disappears. The links still work however. Could you give me some idea on what might be causing it? An example can be seen here.

Deactivated all plugins, emptied the cache. The problem of thumb remains.

I deactivated google auto placed and placed normal ads. For now I still see the wrong positions but maybe we just need to wait.
Then I was wrong … I don’t see the INSTAGRAM photos (not pinterest sorry), as you can see also from the photo attached in the previous post.

Hello – I’ve been working to improve my Google PageSpeed / GT Metrix scores and I had a couple questions on their suggestions. Here are the two reports that have been run:

1) Both services have advised me to optimize my images by compressing them. I’ve done that and removed the original larger files from my file library, but these images are still showing up on both reports and not improving my score. Here’s an example of an image that I optimized, deleted the original file from my file manager, emptied the trash and is still showing up on both reports: https://www.pinkluggageabroad.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/list-of-quirky-bars-1.jpg
2) Google PageSpeed suggests: “Consider lazy-loading offscreen and hidden images after all critical resources have finished loading to lower time to interactive”. I understand Newspaper has an option to lazy load all images, is there a way to lazy load just offscreen and hidden images?
3) Google PageSpeed for desktop suggests “Large GIFs are inefficient for delivering animated content. Consider using MPEG4/WebM videos for animations and PNG/WebP for static images instead of GIF to save network bytes”. This applies to these GIFs on my homepage https://www.screencast.com/t/n1vvrlINYN. I converted these to MPEG4 files but when I use TD composer to remove the GIF file and replace it with MPEG4, I cannot choose the MPEG4 file. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a workaround that you can suggest?
4) GT Metrix suggests “Leverage browser caching. Page load times can be significantly improved by asking visitors to save and reuse the files included in your website”. I’m currently using WP Super Cache, is there a setting that I can adjust to meet this suggestion?
5) GT Metrix suggests “2.2MiB of JavaScript is parsed during initial page load. Defer parsing JavaScript to reduce blocking of page rendering”. How would I do this?
6) GT Metrix suggests “The requests for the following URLs don’t fit in a single packet. I have a site that causing me problems with google ads.
When I position the ads in a specific position, for example in the sidebar this also comes out to me in inappropriate places, like under the header or in the footer.

I am also having these issues and have followed the advice given by support on here and in other threads. Strangely, it works when the site is in Staging/Development, but not in Live/Production.
That is Because I Just Disabled Both Plugins…
When I Check Page Speed Score after Enabled Two Plugins it Got Reduced Too much.
When Disabled, it increased.
So, I Simply Disabled.
Google Adsense was another reason for page speed low score, I remove ll ads scripts…
just to check the Speed and all.
The Most Important Message I have to Tell you, There is a Small Bug in New Update of Newspaper ( May be only in my site )

After setting up Google Adsense auto ads and turning on the Anchor Ads, everything seems to be working fine except for the mobile + AMP theme. Is there any other setting I have to implement in order to display Adsense anchor ads on the mobile theme?

Upon closer inspection, the “More” menu in the sticky menu on Safari only doesn’t load on the home page. It seems it loads on all other pages and posts.
Another question: Which section in the Style settings for the header would allow us to make the “More” menu items in the sticky menu look like the “More” items in the normal menu?

I am trying to put auto ads of adsense on amp posts, I am being given two codes from adsense, one of which I have to paste in the <head> of the amp theme and the other in <body>, So please tell me where to paste those codes? Because in the theme panel I have got the normal head and body section but the head and body section of the amp theme could not be found.
2. I want to put adsense amp ads unit in my amp post so how to implement? (Apart from auto ads) and inside the amp ads unit, two types of codes are also given, where are those codes to be paste?
3. How to install google analytics code for amp? Do I just have to paste the google analytics tracking id in the amp analytics option?

I have obtained 100 out of 100 in page speed.
but, when I tested Site loading time, it was 1-second delay than other site scored 96 in page speed.
we have to focus on Real Page Speed ( The Real Loading Time ) – Absolutely NOT The Page Speed Score ( Optimization ).
Keep in Mind External Files Can’t Optimized ( Adsense, analytics, FB Pixel etc… )
But, I have done this too 🙂
by hosting external files locally, and created cron job to auto update external files…
Later I understood… That just Increase page speed score, not the REAL PAGE SPEED

Hi there!
I am using the Newspaper theme and I tried to apply for google adsense for my website. I did what the instructions said and I placed the code in the header.php file between the <head> </head> tags. However, it wouldn’t recognize it. It looked like I did everything right, so I just clicked apply without them verifying my site anyways, and it has taken pretty much two weeks and they still haven’t responded so I think something is wrong there.
I am running into the same issue on pinterest as well. I would like to claim my website, and it is my understanding that I have to simply add a meta tag to my file. I did the same thing and pinterest won’t recognize my website either. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong and why other websites can’t recognize my website.
