Hi, I don’t think i’m being clear. I have a site wide logo, that i want on all pages. I want a different logo for the post category called Laval. In this thread, you have helped me do that using the cloud templates.
Here is how it is working now:
So on my main category page https://www.westislandblog.com/category/laval/ i have the logo i want, it’s not the site wide logo, it says laval not west. All good
I also want all the posts that have their main category setting set to laval, to have that same topper. That was my assumption, all Laval posts, will use the template i’ve set for the laval category. This is not happening. https://www.westislandblog.com/laval-mayor-declares-a-state-of-emergency/ So my question is, how can i set up a template/template header for all posts that belong to laval category.
also another issue is the mobile menu doesn’t work in the Laval Cagegory page. I realized that i have to set up the header for mobile, so i’ve done that, the logo shows up, but not the menu.

Yes, the tagDiv Composer is a page and template builder not a post editor, you can make templates for post wit it but you can not edit the post content.

Unfortunately, the empty page template has been removed but you can remove the header per page, using the header manager. An option will be added for the footer. If you require it, you can download it from here – http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/page-empty.zip
Place it in the main theme folder, upload it by FTP for example

Then select it for the pages you want. The footer will be removed and the header can be disabled

So if I’m right you want the width/stretch of row to be the 1200px, if so then the simplest way to achieve this will be to create or import a full width templates from the cloud library plugin. There is no one single button push. You have to import a post style and set it as the default post template in the theme panel post settings, then you need to import a category template that is full width and set that one as the default category template. The same for tags, author pages etc:

Regarding on saving issue, please notice that the reason for that error might be your system status parameters. Please check the values of them to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Probably, your PHP memory is exhausted and that’s why you cannot save anything.
Also, I have checked your website and I saw that you have two different logos on it. On that category page you have a logo and for those pages, post pages you have another logo. This case is happening because, for that category -> https://www.westislandblog.com/category/laval/, you are using a template where you set up this header from Cloud Template Library. If you do not want it, you need to remove that Category Template from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jRcoDgLYZooB and chose the Inherit from Global Settings if you want to have the same header for the whole of your website or you can edit that category template and change the logo from your header section to be the same.

You can add a page title to the shop page by creating a new shop page using the tagdiv composer and choosing a page builder + page title template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ You can add woocommerce shortcodes to it using the column text element and these shortcodes: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Then set that new page as your shop page in the woocommerce settings.
Use the shortcods from woocommerce and the tagdiv composer row layout to have a different shop layout.

Hello,
In order to make a layout full width in our theme you need to first remove the background image as any background image or color will make the theme go into boxed mode. Once you remove the background, you can edit the pages using the tagdiv composer and use the stretch row option to increase the width:

Hello! I tried to create a post template, but I have two serious problems:
1 – duplicate comments box. I do not even need to add the comment box in the post. As long as the comments are enabled, they already appear on the page. But they appear twice, and the second box appears to be outside the layout structure, taking up the entire width of the page.
2 – Infinite loading does not work.

I installed a couple of 404 templates from the “cloud library” and they list in the template page, but do not show and whenever I try to select I eventually get the above error. Any advice on what is going on? I don’t have timeout issues with anything else, and adjusted all php and wordpress settings, and no other timeout issues? Took screenshot but not sure how to upload here.
Hi, The frontpage of City Template is 1200px width. Is there a way to set all the pages in this template at the same width?
Articles width is smaller than 1200px. Personaly I think it would be better if the content has the same width as the header menu. Is there a way to set all pages at 1200 without breaking the template?

I have installed wordpress on localhost for now while I get to understand how the theme works.
I have recently updated the theme after the big changes, and reinstalled the theme. It doesn’t seem to want to update within wordpress – is this normal for localhost?
Then my next question is, it is now saying “td_footer_template_4 is not set” and I the page looks funny when I view the website. What’s happening please?

I’m using the “Lifestyle Magazine” template and I find I am unable to edit the bottom third of the homepage in composer, and also the footer.
For the rest of the site in composer the blocks highlight in green when I hover, and from there I am able to edit as required. However as soon as the page reaches “Latest Articles” nothing highlights in green, I am not able to edit or do anything. In fact those sections seem to be acting as though it is the normal website itself, I am able to click on the links and stuff. The sidebar at the side of this section is also not editable, and also the footer.
Does this mean these areas are not editable in composer?

After the update to Newspaper 9.7 I have only one problem, a SEO related one.
For the homepage I modified the file “td_block_template_1” to make the Block title h2 (
instead of h4). With old versions of the theme, this worked, but after the update to Newspaper 9.7 whatever I do I can not change the Block title h4 in h2.
Is there another way I can do that? Should another file be modified in the new update?

Hey Guys. Great template. Love everything about it. Seems like it is going to be super simple and effective. I am having two issues with posts..
I am using the entertainment demo and am having trouble getting the post content to be full width. I have modified the icloud post template to 100% width and it shows full width in the appearance window…but those changes are not happening on the live site. I am using visual composer. FYI… I want it full width so the images will be full width and I can add some margins to the containers with text. Second issue on the same page is that a single image (the first one with the satellite with the yellow lines) is seeming to be cropped into a 4:3 image when in fact it is closer to a square if it were full size.

I’m almost finished editing my new theme (Raw & Wild home template). When I replaced the images in the section with the monkey, lion, wild horses, etc. for category page links, the images stretched across the whole page and were stacked on top of each other rather than staying true to their dimensions and displaying like the demo. Why might this be happening?
I believe the default settings were image size=cover and image alignment=top. Even when I replaced my images with the demo images, it kept on doing this.

Hi, i did manage to get it saved, it was a challenge tho. The theme works differently in different browsers. Was able to save it in firefox. not in chrome.
