Hello
I have a problem concerning the author pages, even if through the panel of the template these are activated if I go to click on the author card I’m redirected to the home page, I also tried to manually insert the address of an author page, but as a result I come always directed to the homepage.
How can I make author pages visible without being redirected to the home page?
Okay thank you, now it works. Now I have the problem, I have for my category: Category Template 2 installed. In the category global settings – TDB template – I put now the Category Template 2. Now I only see blank category page without posts, what am I doing wrong?
Hello, I would like to know if there is the possibility of having a different skin for each category / page. Here are two cases:
– only in the home and not visible in other pages
– loaded only in individual categories
– only in the category and not visible in home pages
In the ads panel it is limited to the background and on the every page on site.
How can I get it, writing in the templates? or with CSS? Do you have any suggestions?
thank you!
Hello Kennplus,
You should change the page template to default. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Thanks for the message!
The new templates are not like the default templates, they are like pages more or less, containing tagDiv composer elements. I don’t know about that minification issue, I never tried or tested in the matter.
It is unusual that it happens only with that template, there is nothing different about it in regards to other templates. They are all built with the new composer elements
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zUS1FAaOTL
I can’t say unfortunately for the moment if there will be modifications or additions to the default post templates, or other default templates, in the future. I am not aware of such plans.
I am using the new page templates created on the TagDiv page builder. I do not see how to change the background image at the top of the page.
The info you sent me is good for pages but I’m writing blog posts which there is no way to edit the layout as of right now. Currently, I selected a post template but when I view on front end the template doesn’t show.
I can wait for the tagdiv editor to be added to posts if it’s coming really soon. I’ll keep my fingers crossed, I have a lot of posts to make.
Thanks
Neither Category Templates 6 or 8 is functioning properly. In both cases the Hero is not displaying on the rendered page, although it does while editing in Tagdiv Composer. Link below shows what I am talking about.
Hi,
Thank you for your appreciation, we will try to add even more features to the composer over future updates. We strongly recommend it for pages and now as of 8.8 and Cloud library plugin, it can also be used to create templates for posts, categories etc.
1. If those plugins are conflicting with the composer, maybe consider looking for other similar plugins if they are essential for the website.
2. How exactly are the sidebars breaking? From what I can see you use standard theme blocks in most posts I checked, in the sidebar. Problems with the layout may happen if you used Visual composer in the actual post content, and now the tagDiv composer is active. We strongly recommended users not to do this. This may be an issue when both composers are active.
The new template library section will be provided by installing this plugin

Thanks
But I still would prefer if the tagdiv team also introduced the full-width template as part of the 13 default theme post templates (loop single and single template). I have done several customizations to the theme with regard to speed (example for a single post with 25 comments http://prntscr.com/js1nz8) and have managed to keep all my posts and pages below 1mb. I am not sure if that is a priority for now, but is it possible? (I am only using the cloud plugin for the full width feature only).
Thanks for answering. I use a minification plugin (fast velocity minify) with Newspaper for speed and I have seen that using the single template 17 causes Gzip compression issues while I have enabled it by default (Gtmetrix says enable gzip compression: Compressing /wp-content/uploads/fvm/out/header-dd714063-1528369985.min.css could save 907.9KiB (87% reduction), see http://prntscr.com/js1eew), which does not happen with the inbuilt theme single templates, or even other parts of the site, except single page with template 17 enabled. I tried Autoptimize and the same issue happened. I tested single template 15 and the same issue did not occur. Could you be able to help me figure out what the issue is? I found out this is what is making the page to grow three times. (The average size of my single posts with current speed optimizations is around 600kb-750kb. I have reverted to template 8 for now, but still, I want to make template 17 work).
Hi,
That could happen if both WPBakery page builder and the tagDiv composer are active at the same time. Single images will be affected by both the composers. So you should decide which page builder you are going to use and deactivate the other.
We strongly recommend the tagDiv composer, as future features will only be available with it. Like the multi-purpose elements and settings and the new Cloud template plugin

I created a page for my french homepage and am to use the page builder + latest post template but it won’t save. i bought WPML so that is what i am using
once i click save it goes back to page builder. am using the latest version
Hello,
The new cloud library is a great idea, however I cannot install basically any element because I can’t see the ‘import’ or ‘create’ template button. I can only see them if the template has little information. This is because I can’t scroll down on the popup page. I’m using a 15″ laptop, not a desktop like you guys probably. I tried using edge and chrome and they both have the problem. Please update the plugin so you can scroll down on the info popup for each template.
I deleted and re-installed the plugin twice with the same problem, deleted my caches too.
Thank you
Hello,
Using the new cloud templates, you can actually edit a post template in the tagdiv composer and stretch the rows just as you would on single pages. You can choose from these sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/dPC49itR
As for the many different sizes, the theme creates as many thumbs as selected here: https://www.screencast.com/t/umwdpdws82ag
You will have to asses the thumbs used on your site and disable any unused ones.
Thank you!
Hello,
The footer widgets are most likely predefined content coming from the footer template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/footer+templates/
As for the social icons they can be added either in the widgets area of WordPress or on the page itself in the tagdiv composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
1. As of the latest theme version, the tagDiv composer can be used to create post templates, category templates etc, not only pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-8-8-update-what-s-new/
The composer will be loaded on every page, post etc, this cannot be disabled there would be no setting for that.
2. No need to use two AMP plugins, that could only result in problems. Choose a plugin and use it. Our AMP plugin may not have as many settings currently as do other plugins. We will try to add more in the future.
Analyze what you require and choose the appropriate plugin for AMP.
Thanks
Hi,
It should be like in this example for a single post template, first select the template you wish to import and click on it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TcqznPFtMaX
Then click create template and the composer should open with an import dialog
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XU7eqxb8upFW
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vH1JwOLKoyw
Or as you edit a created template with the composer, use the load template button
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EV1DM7HVg3S
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YJnQD8BXl
That will replace the previous template, if maybe you do not wish to have many templates created. What button is not appearing exactly? Try to clear the browser cache, or force refresh the page. Let us know.
Thanks
Hello,
No. There is no issue in your pages not being used in AMP. Pages are a way to present your posts. If your posts are found on google as an amp template, you do not actually need pages to be used in AMP as well. But this is a debatable subject and one of choice and if you want to have pages in AMP as well (pages using a page builder), you should use another amp plugin.
Thank you!
The update should be released this week. In regards to your issue, please provide some more details about what you are doing and what is the problem. There are page templates you can use for each page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/klsp4dfuKyfG
The tagDiv composer also has border options for most elements, check the CSS tab
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gTYg0WVGq
The text in text elements will provide the option to enter it through the WordPress editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Ip4k3Ggz5On2
Also there are font settings for most post content elements (by individual element, not general)
Thanks

Thanks
I would prefer to use just the tagdiv composer since the pages already use it but I need some kind of pagebuilder for posts and custom post types also.
Maybe you can help me out with using the page templates. I have a template choose but upon filling the visual text box with content the styling or layout doesn’t change on the front end. It just lays everything out the way it’s typed with no formatting. This is with visual composer off.
I did install TinyMCE Advanced which helps a little bit but I don’t get all of the extra easy css options like rounded corners, colored borders etc. that I get with visual composer.
When do you guys plan on releasing these updates, are we talking about a month or so or a year? Just looking for a guesstimate.
Thanks
How can I access particular grid or template?
Example: I want to use
Category Layout – Template -Template style 1
Category Layout – Top post style – Grid 1
Other blog content – 12 Big Grid – Big Grid 1
Content blocks 1 – Block 6
Pages- Author page
Where do I find these things in the theme?.
All these are available in the demo in features menu. In downloaded theme where Will I find these.

Hi,
Indeed, the tagDiv composer cannot be used on posts for the moment. This will change in a coming update, there will be changes to how the post templates are created (the post templates will have the option to be created with the tagDiv composer).
The tagDiv composer will be integrated further with the theme over future updates.
We do not recommended using the WPBakery page builder on posts, but you can enable it if required for your website
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
If you use it on posts and the tagDiv composer is active, there could be layout problems. The single image element will also not display properly when both page builders are active.
So you should decide on one page builder and deactivate the other. We strongly advice to use the tagDiv composer. Many future options and settings will be added specially for it.
Thanks
I did not see that arrow at the bottom, I continued to scroll down hoping I will get to the footer. Our theme doesn’t have such a functionality for the footer section. It can be enabled or disabled only. So you can either display a predefined footer template or a page, or disable the footer.
