Hi,
I’ve started seeing “FROM PANEL” thing somehow as a post template on the post settings section below the posts? And, I see white pages on posts.
I’ve copied original newspaper theme files in case I’ve done something wrong but no luck.
Default template selection on theme settings page doesn’t apply to posts.
What am I missing on settings? How can I get rid of this and apply default template on all posts?

I’m creating my website and I have issues with the background image when using category template 6.
All the images that I use get blurry! I even tried to use the same image that is used in the demo, both with 1688×1125 px, and they are still blurry.

Hi,
In version 4, the post template that I had set to default was number 4. It had a feature image.
The new version 6 has a post template number 4 as one where the text cuts the image. This doesn’t fit on website and I wanted the new post template to be style 3 or style 7, however the posts that had teh default 4 going for them earlier now look very bad on the pages. How can I change the sitewide post template to be 3 or 7 (some kind of reset?)

I would like to share with everyone a list with some requests that I would like to see in future updates. This theme is in every aspect amazing but there is still room for improvement. Here it goes:
* WYSIWYG on the ads manager: It is hard and time consuming to put ads there, especially if you are making a website to a customer
* Sidebar manager: Would be nice to be able to create sidebars easier. Right now one can only do that when editing/creating a page
* Placing sidebars on the top of the page: The main purpose of this is of course to be able to place ads on the very top of the page. I had to edit the php of my child theme for this. Would be amazing if you could include this in your ad manager
* Custom blocks: I don’t know if this is possible but it would be a dream to be able to easily build a block. The templates you offer are great but some customers have really specific tastes and in my case I had to customize php on two blocks
Feel free to leave your comments and/or requests. Sure does not mean we are demanding these features but it can be a great way for tagdiv to see what we are searching for.

You mentioned using Above the Fold plugin. Could you be kind to explain how you set it up? I tried to use the server side feature but my server doesnt have phantomjs nor cleancss installed and I have no clue on how to install it. I also tried to manually create the critical css but it only creates for one page only. At my current setup I have different templates for posts, i.e., using template 1 for some posts, template 4 for others and template 11 for videos. Each one has a different above the fold css, so it becomes tricky to do it manually.
You can answer in spanish if you prefer.

@colors issue – Do you use a cache plugin? try to clear the cache and see if the changes are active. Also check if the settings in Theme Panel are actually saving or they return to default when you get back in the Theme Panel area.
@excerpt (summaries) – i see you use the Homepage – with article list template , you have to edit the main page and change the module used, you use module 15 which displays the entire post, just chose one which comes with an excerpt – http://screencast.com/t/oL1fDyyg0G
@author box – you could create a similar author box and add it into the sidebar on the main page. Use html and custom css. It’s a blog and it would be strange to display an author box after each post on the homepage if the author is the same on all posts. if you refer to something else please provide more details.

Hi tagdiv team! I’d like to place the WP subscriber widget instead of a third-party plugin into the homepage sidebar. So far, I see the opportunity to place the widget on each blog post through the template, but not sure how to do this on the main page.

Comments on a single page are not showing up.
It could be that the template that page is using may be missing comment generating code.
The page is using pagebuilder + page title template.

Do you want a similar block like Related Articles to display posts from specific category? You could add a block to a page and filer posts by specific category then take the block shortcode and use do_shortcode() function bellow the related articles code in the template that you use, it may need some additional css customization – http://screencast.com/t/0qfRLEEiD – https://codex.wordpress.org/it:Riferimento_funzioni/do_shortcode Please note that this widget will appear on all your posts from all categories, not only on specific one.
If you don’t have basic experience I suggest to hire a freelancer to do this for you as we cannot provide custom work at this time, sorry!

Thanks for the advise. I was able to get the updated version installed, I was not installing it properly before. As far as errors go, the only thing I know to do is wait and see if Webmaster Tools shows whether things are improving.
Unfortunately since installing the latest version, I can’t seem to make any changes to color layout etc. When I installed the updated version, it changed the color of some of my accents, like “log in”, “recent posts”, “latest articles” to black which clashes with the color scheme. I have changed all the theme colors, saved the theme colors and refreshed the page and there is no change. I don’t remember that be too difficult in the past and I’m really not sure why it changed with the update.
I also tried to set the template to show summaries instead of entire posts on previous articles, when I save those settings and refresh the page there is no change.
Also, when I preview the page, it shows an about the author post at the bottom of the page and a comments field . I would really like these elements to show on the posted pages, but they don’t and in this particular case never did.
Please let me know where I should go to fix these items, Thank you in advance for your time.

I created a field in Advanced Custom Fields plugin and tinkered with loop-single.php and added the code
<p><?php the_field('price'); ?></p>
And it showed up, Great! but that was just a test.
Could you please guided me where I can insert it after the excerpt on the blocks on my homepage (blocks 4 and 5) and of course the category and tag pages. Is that the archive template?
Also would you have any handy css code that I can play with and adjust the style, perhaps something to start me off with…

I want to order the category tags in Category Temaplte Style 8. Actually they are been order by alphabetic, i want it to be manual, so i can order the category like the menu with the category page links.
How can i accomplish that?

You have to be more specific and point us to the link that’s not working because I can’t find it on your site. It could be a plugin issue though. Try to disable all plugins except visual composer and see if it works. If the problem is still there, provide more details.
For the second part, I see you have the categories already set up on your block titles. Provide more details for what you would like to change

You fix a single widget(element) only on pages where you can add td-ss-row class to the row – https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ But for post pages or other templates where you cannot use Visual Composer, all the widgets(from you custom sidebar) will stick.

hi Emil, thank you for response.. so does woocommerce page have different usage with visual editor ? i tried to set the woocommerce template to no side bar.. then i split 2 column in the shop page.. but it shows up only 1 column.

As you know i am using newspaper theme but there is a lot of unnecessary margin or padding on template and template width is also little extra then my needs so i wants to change it more like newsmag theme template width and padding . you can also take a look at goal.com template width please help me with that i wants my theme template width to be reduced and also unnecessary side padding if you go on my home page thespotkick.com there is a lot of unwanted side spacing it reduces the design look and feel of template so please help with that. and if i can make it more like goal.com template width and side spacing of content that would be great. i tried it on my own but could not succeeded. on goal.com that side-spacing reduction fill template with more content and that looks great.please help with that.

I have now a problem with my main page, when i want to change anything form the template i view only one part of them, i can’t edit the side bars, or block dissapear on the visual editor
